"Glad to help, Nathaniel!
Despite the microtransactions, the game has become WAY more free to play friendly, and you can still have a good time, especially if you focus on the real-time multiplayer."

"Honestly, if they didn’t have so many micro transactions the game would be better. The roster is insane and so cool!"

evab: 4:15 “Being able to aim the bob-om really helps” immediately throws it into water

Key Otter: Imagine playing Mario Kart Tour on your phone and Nathaniel walks into screen

MR. Monica: The one Mario Kart game where the blooper doesn’t suck

Host 23: Let’s take a moment of silence for the golden dash mushroom

And the boo…

The fake item box…

ansonchow2016: Nathanal : Stop adding items
Literally the next update : sUpEr bElL

DairHat: I can feel the haters coming, I can hear them saying "You should stop enjoying this money-grabbing free to play mobile gacha game".

I like this game because of the combo mechanics, items, drivers, karts, and gliders roster, mission mode, reverse tracks, daily challenges, and the weekly challenges.

It’s sad that there’s not much videos that highlight the game’s redeeming qualities because it’s a risk that people might stop watching the creators’ videos just because they saw ‘Mario Kart Tour’ in the title.

I’ve been playing this game for a year now without paying a single penny, the microtransactions is not at all harsh, maybe in the first few months, but they give out a lot more chances for free to play players like me to get the high-end stuff, I like how you get a free gold pipe after finishing all the cups in a given tour, this game has become a lot more free to play friendly, yes, they might put a pop-up advertising the gold pass or something but you can just easily get rid of them with a single tap, and continue on playing the game.

Also, it finally has real multiplayer now, but they still try to fool people by using real players’ name and badge outside of real multiplayer but I’m not really sure if they’re really fooling anyone.

But that was a great video, I completely agree with Nathaniel’s ranking, the combo mechanics really does change the items’ use, and this really is a different take on Mario Kart, I really do hope that the good features from this game come to the next mainline Mario Kart since this game has a lot of great ideas such as the combo mechanics, maybe as a side mode, and maybe borrow costume ideas from Tour and turn them into skins (something similar to Yoshi or Shy Guy color switching in 8/8DX but with actual costumes now like in the Smash Bros. series), replace mirror cups with reverse cups or maybe have them both possibly, reintroduce mission mode, and maybe have daily challenges to incentivise players to play the game daily, and maybe earn coins or maybe even power stars as a currency for buying stuff.

Too Long; Didn’t Read:
I like Tour as a free to play player, it’s free to play friendly now, and the next mainline Mario Kart game should borrow the good elements from this game.

Turbokart37: Me: sees Bubble is worst
Also me: Okay, whew! This video is credible!

OrangeCloudDreamer: Every Mario Kart Game: Coins as Items are useless and a waste of time
Mario Kart Tour Appeared: Hey! Lets make Coins incredibly useful.

Autism And Gaming: coins are like melee pichu to ultimate pichu. terrible at the begining, almost divine in their most recent appearance

Lord Roy 88: This game made me realize that we need special items back

PaperySMM: To be honest the MegaBombs are so OP on tracks such as Shy Guy Bazzar and Choco Island 2. I always hit almost everyone when using them…

Nick K: Some of these items are really cool! I hope that they are experimenting with this game to see what sticks and what doesn’t for the next Mario Kart game.

PikaPhantom: Giant Banana should be top 3. Absolutely devastating when you get a Frenzy, especially at a high level, and you can even get said Frenzies in first

CK Scores: Lol the Super Bell just came in. Do an updated version. I’d imagine it would sit above the super horn though.

jopiluis: One thing i like about Tour is the variety; roster, items, tracks… open to appear in the next mainline game when it comes out

Miah Thorpatrick: This game gets a lot of hate from people but I really love it! I’ve experienced a ton of fun with it. It gives me my Mario Kart fix so I don’t need to turn on my Wii U.

Domisbeast: Good to see you’re still playing this! Personally I rlly like it just because it is always changing and improving (case and point, Maple Treeway and Team Rally)
