What Makes Mars Miner 2 Stand Out

Mine, build, and upgrade your way to freedom…Again!

You've, once again, been kidnapped by the evil Mars Corp. and forced to mine for pieces of an ancient artifact buried deep below the surface of six different planets.

Finding all of the pieces of the artifact is your ticket back to Earth.

You will find many valuable gems and ores along the way that can be sold at the shop to buy more supplies and better equipment to allow you to mine deeper.

Make sure you have enough supplies to get back out of the mine!

Every mine is randomly generated. No game is ever the same!

Community Insight:

Its the best app of its kind in the AppStore, period. It befuddles our brain that no one has tried to one up it in all these years. Its a classic.

Great game if you love mazes with a challenge! Love the game! Just wish there were more gems to ours, some parts of the game are very barren.

Im not sus that the coin doubler always works but Ive played this game here and there for years. Very happy its still here.

Once we figured out how to save (you actually have to click the button, not just run by it), we really enjoyed this game. Simple, creative, and a nice upgrade to the last version, though we liked how the guy moved/ran better in the first one. Its kinda weird how this guy interacts with ladders.

We wouldnt pay a single dime for something do bare bones with an idea thats been done countless times and far better than it was here.

We very much enjoy playing this game before and during our breaks at work, sure gets any stress off our shoulders. But what we really wouldnt mind there being in this game is when u ours a deep tunnel down there should be a way to place multiple ladders at the same time from the top or bottom of a ours like almost a roped ladder, instead of only having the option to place a single ladder. There should be another button option saying select all using most to all of your ladders…idk thinking of the ladder physics im sure theres a way to implement that in there without much issue. Another thing maybe add aliens to encounter and fight against and have a small chance to get their mining equipment like a alien pick or something. Either of those would be nice to be added in the future. Thanks for reading and keep up the good work.

When Mars miner 3 when we like that games. Part 2.

So we just bought the pack of 6 large boxes, 3 dollars we have basically thrown in the trash, because we have not recieved the boxes. But the game is overall okay.

We got to the last two planets and on each of the, the game goes into an endless loop saying generating new ours. There is no way out of that loop other than killing the game. We have let the generating run for up to a half hour and it never finishes.

The biggest issue with the game is that it doesnt save for us between sessions. This exacerbates the problem with pacing. Other games in this genre have a much quicker early game update interval. With Mars Miner 2 you spend more time traversing back and forth than you do mining. The upgrades are then so expensive that it takes a long long time before being able to dig deep enough to earn some big money. Also because you have to buy ladders that eats into your earnings early game.

We havent even played yet. We fired up the game, tilted right, and the game remained upside down. Why force players to only rotate left? XCode largely handles the rotation for you. Let us rotate right.

So we played the trial version of this game and liked it enough to buy it. We dont buy games. In fact we hate buying games because you cant just buy a game and have it be that game. You have all these in app purchases which drive us bonkers. But we digress. This game is fun. Its hard and takes time so we feel like we didnt waste our money on something thats over in a day or two. Plus the graphics are good. And its easy to play when the wife is watching her stories and she wants us to hang out with her but we dont want to watch the Heart of Dixie on Netflix. So we play this game instead.

First of all why would you have to buy a jump?! But game is awesome!!! Thanks for making the game! ;).

Game was good until you added the Flash-lightly flashlight.

We loved the first one, and we decided, "well maybe this one is better," and so we got it. The graphics aren't our favorite, we liked the first game's graphics more, but these are still good graphics, just a little 'pasty' as we call it. The jet pack was a great help in the game, but we died a lot but it was fun testing it's limits. Compared to the first game, it's not as good, but there are plenty of worse games, and this game still is a good game.

Like the first one but much more fun.

We like it. Can be addictive. Hard to put down.

We got this on a whim and it just so happens to be one of the best games we've ever found. Totally worth the .99 to unlock the full game.

We liked the original, and played it several times. We have played this version almost to the end, and like it even more than the first version. We bought the full version; we don't go in for in-app purchases, and that does not hamper game play. Once you pay the $.99 to unlock the full game, no further purchases are necessary. We have whiled away many happy hours ( sometimes later than we should ) with this game. Early on there were glitches, and the developers responded quickly to any concerns.

We were looking for a chill mining game and found this. It has some great elements and is worth the $1 unlock + $1 x2 trade value It could use more gameplay factors to spice it up and keep it from getting bland.

We love this game! But we can get to the red planet but can never play the red planet :( it crashes all the time… Crashes when we save… And then just randomly crashes all on its own :(.

Character and graphic are so adorable. One thing we wish is more events…but it's quite suprising that the goal of this game is only a 'find artifacts' thing and still very fun.

This sequel is great and the new levels provide hours of fun and progression throughout. The new graphics look great, and the gameplay is easy.

We enjoyed the game until we got to the Star and it started to crash. Unfortunately the only way to play now is to save after every few moves because we never know when it will crash and we end up back to the home screen of our IPad Air 2.

The game does what it sets out to do: make a nice little minecraft clone with rpg elements in space. But it has very few strings to its bow. One particular annoyance is the lack of music – the silence is almost crushing. It also crashes a bunch. Could be better, could be worse.

Omg make ores more valuable it's so hard to even get DECENT at the game! Please update it, If it changes, you deserve 5 stars.

This is such a good game!! We got the first game and it was amazing.

We love this game and the original. We love the expansions, it is totally worth the dollar for the full version. We never rate games. Why it's not 5? Crashes very occasionally Original had the ability to buy large ladders.

This is a very fun miner game. This game is free, but you eventually have to pay a dollar to unlock the full version if you like it. The dollar is totally worth it. We played from beginning to end and enjoyed the whole game. We recommend mining for the green miner corp crates and selling items inside to make money.

Played may hours on this game. Tons of fun best way to just kill some time we have found in a long time.

Love this new version, now the mines change from play troughs and there are multiple maps, and new features like jumping, and the new graphics are awesome.

One thing we look for in mobile games is few to little ads, and this game has none. Please never change that! Mars Miner was a great game and we believe Mars Miner 2 improves on it. Some of the equipment in the store seems a bit expensive and out of reach. It could be a turn off for those who don't play as often. But still a very fun game.

We love all the new updates, you have truly made the game fun to play! Great job.

Why did you add a blocky 3D quality to it? It just looks ridiculous. The only reason we're giving it 2 stars is because we enjoyed the original Mars miner.

We've been cruising through the game. We're on the top of the Game Center chart. Everything was ok, until we got half way through Mars. We can not log back into our saved game, even though we have done all of the updates. We can start a new game and play like normal, but we want to finish our original game.

Oh boy, this is by far the most rushed game sequel we have seen in our life. Now complete with poor quality textures and almost no new features except for new 'planets', which are basically just different colored clones of eachother. If you are thinking about getting this game, get the original version.

We loved the original Mars Miner… This one is even better! Tons of new upgrades, better graphics, and addictive gameplay. Entertains us for a couple minutes while we go #2 and also for hours on end.

It's a great update from the 2D game. We're just gonna wait til the joystick can be replaced with tap. Miss the freedom of playing one-handed on our teeny-tiny iPod.

Ok, so we saw this game and we were really exited, but then when we started playing, the game got old fast. Your oxygen tank is too small so you have to go back to the surface every 45 seconds which gets really boring. Also, we reached the end of the world and it said that this was only a trial version and wanted us to buy the full game but never even said a price! The credits in the shop don't have prices either. Player have to know what they are paying for this kind of stuff! Mars miner 1 was really cool but the underpriced ores and gems combined with the overpriced items makes this game not worth the time. Finally, the gameplay is kind of weird. We don't like the D pad, Mars miner worked better with the touch moving. And when you get on an elevator you should be able to use the D pad to go up and down, not the two tiny arrows that pop up and are hard to click. Overall Mars miner 1 was much better and simpler when it comes to gameplay, graphics, and entertainment level.

It's a pretty good game. We'd like to know how much it costs to unlock the full game though. We liked the simple graphics from the first game more and we miss the touch controls too but other than that, it's pretty good.

We're on the third planet, and still have zero use for fuel. It's getting really annoying. Especially since we can't find a single thing about it online.
