Been playing this game for 11yrs and its always been a fun enjoyable game ive been able to play constantly without getting bored.
We like the game. But its been freezing during game play a lot lately.
Ive lost count of how many times our phone has completely glitched out and froze in the middle of a match. To the point where Ive had to force close the game and restart. Ive played this game for over 6 years. This is the first time Ive ever considered not playing it anymore.
We love this game. Support is great. Been playing for several years. But we cannot play a single session anymore (sometimes 3 or 4 sessions a day) without it crashing. When it crashes, it counts as a loss and you lose any upgrades you were using. Its been going on for months now. We want to play but cant. Very frustrating. Playing on iPhone 15 iOS 26.2. Just a horrible experience lately.
13+ years playing. We have encountered many problems over the years, but they are always resolved. With that said, when we are playing, the game now freezes multiple times when playing. Please fix. Rating will be back at five after fix.
This game was great but since the update it has been crashing so much it even makes our phone act weird. Idk what theyre doing to fix this, we have lost so many hard battles which we almost won but it crashed. But it seems they have given up on the game. With fewer story modes, there was no Halloween or the Xmas mode this year. So we think its dead which sucks cause Ive been playing for over 10 years now.
Every offer is about $10 over priced in our opinion. Nothing should be 74.99 unless its for 5 5* champions since it takes a decade to have one. These 24.99 offers are overpriced. Does this app really need that much currency to stay active honestly. If thats the case just say that. Otherwise when people pay that price some of it has to go to charity.

Can be fun, but easily the glitchiest game Ive ever played. Freezes often and progress lost when it does. Seems like theyve given up on keeping the game functional.
Ive played this game for years now. In recent months, there was a long outage without compensation for the time off or paid battle pass. But at times the game just bugs out and freezes, essentially bricking the phone until a force quit or the game just entirely crashes. When it works its ok fun but thats becoming more and more infrequent.
Ive had our game freeze in online vs three times lately. These updates have been god awful for months now.
Ive been playing for nearly 10 years. A few months ago the devs went to the UNITY engine and it literally broke almost everything. We are a huge Puzzle Quest fan and have been playing PQ games since the first release. The game is now on its third dev team (we have hopes for the newest team, they came in over the Dec 2025/ January 01 holidays). The game has actually been somewhat more stable since then and we have gotten much better customer support, hence two star review instead of one. If and when the game is back on track and not glitching and we see that the Devs care more about the customer base and making the game playable than micro-transactions, this review will go back to five stars. We are hopeful, but frustrated.
Apple and iTunes have decided there they want money in order to run a free game. Now theyre abducting marble D3 games and Im not able to get in. Its all about the money.

Edit: Hi, its been a while but when are you guys gonna fix the enemies levels back to the way it was from before & can you change the quality to 480p? Because the new quality sucks & Im still waiting.
Been playing since the game released and over the past 2 months, the game couldnt be any more buggy. Countless times a day it will lock up, sometimes even preventing you from being able to exit from the app altogether. Absolutely abysmal.
Touch feedback is still delayed, display doesnt fit screen(buttons under signal service status bar).
Almost every time we use the app now. It freezes our screen!! Very annoying and do not like the update layout.
App was 5 star until lately.. Please fix the buggy tendencies & constant crashing that occurs. Crashed 3 times in 15 minutes come on guys.
Update: 5 Jan 26. Ive been playing now for about 8 years. But since the new devs took over Ive seen genuine disdain for the customer base. We sort of lackadaisical attitude about rewards and a real bent on getting more money. Isnt that always the case. But over Christmas/New years these guys just disappeared, no events, nothing. Just gone for their break. There were no rewards as Christmas presents and no new events for about 5 days. Just so maddening when you invest so much into a game just to be blown off. Update: since our first review we discovered that Id made a mistake. When events pop up you get to choose a start and end time. We didnt realize that. Thats why we found ourselves with nothing to do. One can still have times where youre waiting to heal and cant play, but those times have become fewer. First, you dont have to spend real money although there are many options to do so. This game requires thought to get your team together and find the best match. Things that bug us: when fighting the computer they always seem to get four+ matches and endless cascades. We mean it just gets stupid. Also, after finishing the prologue, you can only play this game for about twenty minutes or so before youre out of heals and find yourself with nothing to do. This is endlessly frustrating and why the devs would make a game that we cant play for as long as we want when we want kind of defeats the purpose of a game. That said, a solid four star game that youll want to play.
This game is OK if youre looking to kill some time by repetitive action. The story mode is a bit repetitive but can at least help you focus on building one or two characters at a time by getting specific covers for the same person. The player versus player is complete trash though. Does not equal out who you have to match up against. Youll always be matched against players who spent lots of money and have characters that are way overpowered to even bother.
The game had a good run but it doesnt seem worth it anymore. For a long time the grind has been at unsustainable levels but the game still ran well. Now menus and moves are slow and the game has frozen on us more in the last couple months than the 6 years prior to that. Something changed and its just not worth it anymore.
Four times in a row now we have earned 4/10 Titans Record and then the count goes to 0/10. What is happening.
We used to love this game and play daily. There are so many bugs in production now and it crashes all the time.
The game overtime has had its ups and downs. Game recently has been kind and fun lately. The game gives you a fair amount of covers including the stuff you need to improve those covers. Not to mention the grind to get new stuff has been reduced by a good amount.
Love this game, been dealing with glitches since the engine switch (not a big deal) we get it. Recently our 200 hero coin offer has been crashing. The past 2 offers we didnt receive our rewards, but our hero coins were consumed. Pls help.
We have no time for a game that glitches out when we try to leave the app. Please fix this.

We have been playing this game everyday for over 7 years and really love playing but have been growing increasingly frustrated over the last several months as we experience the game shutting completely down mid battle and sometimes right when we enter the battle and sometimes when we are almost about to win a tough battle. This started after an update around the summer. When we open the game back up, our characters have taken damage as if we retreated from the battle and we lose any boosts that we were using when we were playing in the battle as well as any assists. This happens now several times in a sitting. We are starting to get so frustrated that we are finding ourselves not playing as much as we liked to do. If they would fix this we would give 5 stars, and are luckily we dont give less right now, but for how much we love the game when it works.
Since the update the game doesnt perform the same anymore. The game crashes a lot. We mean, a lot. Ive been playing since very early on and its never been this bad. Still, even after several updates, months since the complete destruction of this game, developers still cant get this game to where it was when the only thing to complain about was the dumb selection of characters they choose to release without rhyme or reason. Dont get us wrong the game is still worth playing, just not as long, and not worth throwing money towards. The game hasnt changed in over ten years. It is what it is.
We have played this game for 3251 days straight. We use an IPad and make sure we take it with us on trips and camping ..etc just to keep our streak going. However, since the update over the summer the game has been real buggy and honestly not as enjoyable. We wonder if the dev has just given up. Up until the last few months it was a 5 star all day. Not so much anymore.
We have been playing this game for over 10 years, part of a great alliance and over 460 covers, most ascended. So why the 3 star rating? The last six months have seen technical issue after issue. Game suddenly locks up, kicks you out randomly both mid flight and gaining rewards. Latest is the strobing lock up. Only a reboot of the phone breaks this locked cycle. Today 10/28/25 there was a patch, cool it fixed the flash issue right? No, 5 min in, same thing. It happens mid flight, counts as a retreat loss and the heroes take damage. To say this is frustrating is an understatement.
After the recent update its back to 5 star.
Edit: when we select the new story, the background level is still the same (level 16 instead of 5, level 3 instead of level 1, and level 28 instead of level 12). Can you fix this background levels again? Please.
Ive been playing this game for a LONG time and its becoming hard to play; the game keeps crashing. It seems to need optimization so it runs smoother. We hate to give this anything lower than 5 stars, but its becoming impossible to play. Events also seem to jump in difficulty quite steeply. There are fights that we dont stand a chance in, and we have almost all the characters, most of which are high leveled (Ive been playing this game for YEARS pretty much every day).
Screwing up a solid game like this seems intentional.
Ive played this game for over 10 yrs, since it was in beta, and Ive seen it go through a lot of changes. The most recent changes to increase the difficulty based on SCL are ridiculous. Even jumping down to SCL 8, story battles have your PVE opponents getting 100+ level increases as a reward for you beating them once. Absolutely bonkers. The game is now firmly aimed at the 1% player with the perfect roster for the meta and willing to spend as much as possible to get through fights. Giving the game 2* in memory of the good times past but not sure why people will keep playing after this update, outside of that 1%.
In the past half year the game has been very unstable and constantly crashes.
Great game but what happened. There was either a new update or a new company bought the game. They made changes. Now the game stutters, is slow to react to button pushing. It does not even keep up with the character images. The game took a turn for the worse. Now in saying this we have also played this game for 10 years plus. The character development is awesome. Everything that the game allows you to improve on is readily available without paying any money. Its awesome. We just dont know what happened in the actual development of the game. We have uninstalled and reinstalled and it doesnt make a difference. Its almost like the game has a mind of its own on day by day how it acts.
If there was a new campaign chapter added monthly for us to play in order to gain more characters and rewards toward upcoming story mode tournaments it would make this game even better!!!! Just a thought.

Ive tried to open app now and wont open, Ive tried uninstalling and opening several times and still wont open game up please fix.
The latest update has issues we cannot enter the Game.
Every time we go into play at least 1 time it will freeze and we have to restart and we could be in here middle of a battle then boom it freezes then when we restart our team loses Heath over the game freezing.
Game is amazing, it does lag and get stuck at times but overall nice, The one thing we do think they should do is add a mode to get hero points because the way to get hero points now is insane, you either have to buy them or pray to god you get a good amount in a mission, thats our one ick PLEASE GIVE US A HERO POINTS MODE IT WILL SAVE THE GAME.
Ever since the unreal engine upgrade its been bug after bug, issue after issue. Ive been playing this game for years, spent a good bit of money too. Now it just crashes randomly, issues with rewards, and power glitches. Please fix this wonderful game. Its the only mobile game we have come back to year after year.
Honestly this game was great. And in many ways still is. However since the last few updates, the game is super buggy. Lags a lot and some times even refusing to go past the Marvel logo in the beginning. If they got those things fixed, this game would be incredible again. Oh yeah we need to be able to get points for slots faster too so we can get new characters.
This game is awesome but in the last month it freezes all the time and opens when Im running errands and whatnot due to action and loses our progress in events so Im pretty puzzled why it keeps doing that.
It get progressively worse with each update. We do not think any testing is done before releasing updates.
