We just want yall (the creators) to know that the creators or the people who read these reviews are very efficient. Whenever someone wants something fixed with the game or has something to say thats bad about the game, Bam. Weve fixed it back now. They are kind like when someone gets really angry from what we’ve seen in the reviews, they listen, and tollerate all the bad support or questions. They also read their reviews unlike some other games. Five star to an awesome game and great workers! Some questions, Could yall add a new theme and some more creatures to the Greek theme?
You should be able to follow/subscribe to people if you enjoy their maze. Also a friends option where you can add friends and be able to look at all their mazes. This game has a lot of potential despite being out for so long. We would like to see more.
The sky is the limit with this game. Its all player content, mazes built by other players. Some people like to build mazes, some like to play mazes. Different maze types with their own things that make them special. The mechanics of the game can be straight forward until you mix it with something else and you can get really creative. Theres a messaging system if you get stuck in a maze, theres even a discord server. We find this game to be really captivating, and the developers are always working on improving the game and incorporating player ideas. Most definitely one of the best phone apps there is considering most apps we play for a few months and drop, and thats it. This is one of like the four apps that we always come back to. Our creator name is Tajrah, we like to build really intricate mazes and we enjoy playing mazes that make us think.
We played this game a few years back but then we realized it was just removed from the App Store. Here we am, a few years later trying to see if the game can still be played, and what do we know! Its been updated for a while!… But everything so… Different. All our previous mazes; gone. All the maps we made memories on; gone. The freedom to create anything without restriction? Still here. But. Theres. A. Subscription. This game has changed. And not for the better.
This game is amazing. We just have some suggestions. We want a new theme. We think it should be like a fairy tale.
Jus gotta say. We love this game. Keep working on it, it is awesome and keeps getting awesomer. Im glad its not one of those mobile games where you sit around, wait, and watch ads all day. This is actually a really awesome game with genuine fun in making and playing levels.
Each time this game updates, guess what? Well lets just say that the game makes you restart. Listen. We had ALL the types of building and a Great account we loved! One morning we log in. Poof! We restart. DEVELOPERS. Upgrade the update system! It is really frustrating. We have now abandoned Mazecraft a ton because of that update glitch! We are now playing other games. NOT Mazecraft. If you wish to have another fan, FIX THAT!

It is good but you can not choose where the start and finish go not even the coins but other wise its good.
Question: what does the saber do? Ideas: more themes, more doors, more creatures for the space theme, but still good game.
We come into the game and get blasted with play for free for only a WEEK and we can’t even do anything about it. We rember a good maze craft but y’all shut that down. Y’all made it pay to play you can’t skip that screen it’s frustrating and we hate it!! We liked the new of maze craft better but y’all made it pay to win it’s awful so awful that we deleted it and don’t wanna play ever again!!! >:(
Its a great game and all but it has its downsides. One is that you need to turn the graphics back! The old graphics were the absolute best, but then when you added more pixels to it, it just doesnt have the same feeling that was linked to the old graphics. Also we would really enjoy to see the old Home Screen again too. We know what we are asking for us a lot but we just dont feel like it is as good anymore. Also, can you please make people without the subscription make more mazes please, we are working on a series but we cant publish it all unless we get the subscription which we do not have the money to pay for.
We dont know if it has to do with our phone or the newest update but sometimes our character glitches and stops moving.
Hmmm… Should we get this cool-looking game with great content and amazing graphics and enemies and just seems good? Sure! Stop. This game is so cool, but then they ruin it. Lets say you start off, get ten prizes and become level two. You already made one maze and it blew up! You decide to make another. You then make a space-themed, micro level. It blows up too. You play more and more and get more addicted every maze. Youre really happy you stumbled upon this game. Then you get hell unleashed upon you. You reach level three, and youre hyped because now you can make a small-ish level. You click it with speed and excitement, but then… Free trial. Make unlimited levels. What. The. Actual. Crap. They took an amazing game and decided to make it a cash grab. Why. They were living the life. They had people hooked. They just got money hungry. This will forever stay a two-star review until they do something about the horrible cash-grab thing. We remember playing this game years ago, and we made bundles of levels and it was great! We re-downloaded the game and frankly, Im heavily disappointed. Will not be getting this game ever again unless they respond saying they changed this. Next time you see this game and it isnt changed, look back at this review and say to yourself, How about no. Edit: 4 star because of year free trial… Nice!
Ok Im trying to stop hating on the game. So after reading a few other reviews and your responses to them we thought that maybe we should stop hating on it. So just we have a few ideas that might (Im still not sure) benefit both the players that dont want to pay money to play the game and the game it self. First, make the game cost money, Im not sure if you already did this because we had the game in its early ages so if you did then yay. But if not then make the game cost like 2.99. Second, make it so you have to pay coins, the in game currency, to build levels. Like 100 coins to place a skeleton or something. Then you could add a in app purchase where you can by the coins for real money making it so some players can buy the coins with money and others can just save up. Thirdly, keep the subscription but only for new level types like the sidescroller and tower types but also have it so that players without the subscription can still build, edit, publish and unpublish levels. Thats all we can really think of. We hope you take this into consideration for the game. We really do want it to still be on the App Store but we also want to not have to buy anything. P.S. Please bring back followers and friends.
We loved this game before the new update l cant even destroy a maze to make a new one this is stupid Im never playing until you fix it.
Its great, but we cant get premium now and am stuck with only being able to build two mazes. That kind of takes the fun out of it, but its overall enjoyable.
This game was great, you made mazes and published them, but now you need to give your level code to 3 other people and they have to complete the level, and the worst part is that they didnt change it back to he previous system, this game couldve been great, but it was ruined by a terrible decision that was not reversed immediately Edit: a HUUUGE step in the right direction, now imma get back to mazin Edit 2: instead of having the subscription thing be required to play the game after a certain level instead make it so that it removes ads increases max coin count and increases max levels, we dont want to have to constantly unpublish our levels to have more levels we just want to play the game.

Hello, this is Jonathan or Jonah Memes in the game, we are a veteran player and have been playing for years through thick and thin. Im very happy they brought back the servers, but thats not important. This game is amazing, it has so many things you can do and incredible possibilities, we would recommend it to anyone. But there are some things we would like to say such as proes, cons, and suggestions. Proes: Game has a lot of content and great community, it has many fun levels and is very fun to play. This game is amazing, we cant list all the good things about it because there is just so much, from your own collection to customizing your avatar or even the funny level up names. This is incredible Cons: The BIGGEST con of this game is that there is a subscription if you want to upload unlimited levels. You start off with 2 levels MAX. We think that is just ridiculous, at least make the max level cap for free players 10. The good think about it though is that the subscription is 20$ a year and you get your first year FREE. We repeat… First year completely FREE. Not to mention you can cancel out of your subscription any time which is just amazing. We highly suggest making the free players have more options though. Another con to mazecraft is sometimes the community makes just outright terrible levels. What we mean is levels with question doors that only they know the answer too, or just super long annoying levels only for it to kill you at the end because you dont know the code, and it was nowhere in the level. We understand this is the community, but still a con nonetheless. The last con has to do with the community as well, sometimes when you make levels that are too hard for the baby players they quit after the first obstacle and rate you with 1 Star out of 5. This is infuriating as you work hard on the level and the snowflakes are so triggered that they cant beat it, that they just outright vote your level with terrible ratings. We wish there was some way to change the community sometimes, but unfortunately this is all on the community. Finally, some suggestions. As we have been playing for three years, there has still not been any new updates to the Greek area, etc. Although we love the new areas, maybe some more traps and cool stuff on existing areas would be epic as well. We suggest maybe a times fire trap that has a timer once you step on a pressure plate, or maybe even a snow trap that freezes you but doesnt kill you and makes you perma mud effect or perma banana effect. A unique teleported in each area would be appreciated, what we mean is like the Santa chimney, it would be cool if we could have a Greek teleporter, and same for the other areas. We also suggest adding more monsters, combat is nothing too big in the game as most levels either spam you with monsters or make a level with no monsters, adding a more unique variety of monsters, and perhaps even a boss for each area would make combat a joy! Our final suggestion is our most important one and we will say it in all caps to get your attention. MAKE MOVING COINS AND TREASURES EASIER!!! MAKE IT TO WHERE YOU CAN PLACE FLATSTONE AND OTHER DECORATIONS UNDER COINS AND TREASURES WITHOUT MOVING THEM BACK AND FORTH WHICH TAKES FOREVER!!!! We SUGGEST A COIN/TREASURE BUTTON WHICH YOU CAN CLICK AND THEN EASILY DRAG ONLY COINS AND TREASURES ANYWHERE!!! This would make the game a lot easier when making levels. Its weird because we have awesome internet connection and it keeps on saying bad internet connection its was good for 7 days then it started do it.
We’ve been with this community for years and this new update has shown the community beginning to grow again. People are creating and playing mazes. Again a follower system would be really nice, like a way for you to get notifications when the person you follow makes a new maze. Featured mazes shouldnt be those made by the devs but instead by those mazes that go above and beyond. Community mazes. Im unsure if anyone else has had this problem but our old account data is gone and Im unable to find any maze that was made more than a couple months ago. We recommend re-installing this game as the community is growing again and the game itself is quite fun. We’ve found a few bugs which do mess with a few mechanics from old Mazecraft which is disappointing but expected. As new updates come Im sure this review will change. We will update as we continue to play.
Perfect little casual game, adorable pixel art and music. We just wish we didn’t have to get somebody to play our level for it to go public. We understand why, the developer wants to get the word out about their game. But for someone who has just a few friends and not many are interested in mobile games, is there some other way?
We redownload this potentially-amazing game, and everythings gone! No friends, no multiple published mazes, and Im not sure if its a glitch or not, but our coins dont do anything and we cant level up!!

We’ve been playing this game for hears and it was fun we even played when there wasnt even updated coming for 3 year but then you bring it back but limit all the fun into a pass that let play the game like normal.

This game is one of our favorites it has awsome themes and great traps.
Like other great games — Minecraft leaps to mind — the idea of creating worlds to share with other players around the world has an appeal. These types of games need two elements to succeed: An interface that makes interesting worlds and let’s you tweak them to your heart’s content, and other players doing the same. And while some Mazecraft players "cheat" the system by asking for high ratings for empty "mazes" that simply hand players coins and prizes, many of the players take the game seriously and create amazing mazes. The interface is easy to use to make mazes of all levels of difficulty. Best app we’ve played in several years.
This was a great app. It was helping us defeat chemo brain and then they changed it. We don’t know why but it really sent it down the tubes. The code business shut us off from the good people we play with. It was amazing to see and experience the creativity of our fellow players. Now there’s nothing. So sad :(
This was our favorite game until the recent update. Many of our mazes were on the popular list and now we can’t get one on the public mazes. The reason is three friends have to rate the maze before it can become public. They also removed nudging and following which allowed us to see maze favorite builders mazes. We loved the game in till the update.

This game is one of the best games we’ve ever had. However, when Mazecraft was updated to remove the "follow" feature, we instantly became dismayed. Our favorite maze makers were difficult to find, and we have to wade through hundreds of terrible mazes to set to a good one. Plus, the ‘friend code’ option is terrible, because this game isn’t common enough for many people to download it, and no one actually discusses maze codes with their friends. Mazecraft made a mistake many other games have made: changing the game in an update even when it didn’t need to be changed.
Okay, our 7-year old kid is a whiz at this game (when he’s pirating our iPhone). He wanted to play on his iPad, and with family sharing, he was able to download it to his own device (and dad says "yay!"). His iPad runs iOS 9 so it should work, but… It continually freezes on the splash screen ("A long time ago…"). Further, when one clicks on "support" (right next to "write a review" on this page), it takes you to a website that isn’t much more than a placeholder. No actual support. If the stars align, you could have fun… But don’t get your hopes up.
Alright, when we were going through our apps we were deleting the ones that took up too much storage, so when we were doing that we accidentally deleted MazeCraft. And since then, we haven’t been able to load back in, it just stays on the screen that says "In an age long before heroes" screen. Can anybody help us?
This game rocks! It has a great feel to it and playing as well as making mazes is a lot of fun to do. But we want to be able to publish our mazes without having get codes from friends ,(I don’t have any friends that play this game). It’s not really fair and would be so much better to put your mazes out there without having your friends give codes or whatever. Other than that it’s a wonderful little game!
We got this game when it first came out and we would play it soooo much but recently they added codes! The codes are so you can play your friends levels but it doesn’t work as well as followers. First, if we want to go play our friends maze we can’t because they didn’t tell us the code to play it, before we would follow all our friends and play there mazes for fun but now we need to wait for them to text us there code! Second, if we followed someone that wasn’t our friend in real life, now we can’t play his maps because he needs to send us the code but he can’t text us it because we don’t know him and we followed to play his maps! We followed 2 people and we really liked there maps but now we can’t ever play them because he can’t text us the codes! And third, we never want to type in a code to play our friends maze, we want to go to our friends mazes and play them! And we want our friend to play our maps but he doesn’t want to type in the codes and we don’t want to send him the code for every single map we have, that would take forever! So we really hope the followers option comes back, mazecraft will never be the same till then and we would have gave this 1 start but we still remember what it once was. If the followers option comes back this review would probably change to 5 stars.
Why must you put codes to play with your friend and how do we publish our maze to the world it’s lame.
Please, we absolutely loved this game when we were able to follow great maze builders and friends, and when the latest tab was an endless list of mazes, but now it’s ruined. We built a lot of mazes when we redownloaded this game on our phone and just recently realized how you can no longer follow people, obtain followers, and worst of all is the fact that we need to give friends codes for all our mazes. Our friends don’t have time to play all of our mazes, and we don’t have enough who own the game to do so! We only rated two stars instead of one because this used to be good, but once you make this game great again we will continue our maze building passion!
We think this game is fun, but there’s no point of playing if you can’t keep track of amazing builders. We’re not going to sift through all the ok mazes to find a gem. Please re-add the following tab!
We love this game. It’s very uncommon that you can just go sit in a chair and play the same game for hours upon hours on end, and still have fun. But lately, something has happened. The follow system, which truly helped to keep this game great, has been removed, and replaced with a necessity for using social media to progress. We are sure that the majority of us (the players) would be happy to see the ‘Following’ mechanic put back in place.

This game used to be one of our favorites… Until the new update. Now it needs to have a "code" to share and you have to have friends play it until the maze can go public. It used to be so fun because you could just publish a maze to the public, but they ruined it. Please fix this. :(
