This is a solid game. Does it have bugs? Some. So what? Is the game fun? You bet it is. And it sticks to Canon. You haters out there…we dunno…go watch some dragon ball Z or something.
We, as a child, LOVED the mechwarrior games back then. But, this one is the only one the App Store so we figured we'd get it and we did. This game is great and easy. It might be a short game, but it is very fun. We do recommend you buy this game. We looked at the other reviews and how they said there were bugs, there aren't any. We're playing this on our 5S with 10.0.2 and it plays as if nothing is wrong. This is all legitimate.

If you grew up playing mech commander then this game is a must. Our only gripe is that articles in the memory core don't scroll… We have an iPhone SE with 10.0.2.
The game crashes to much and there is a lot of bugs but it is a good game.
About halfway through the game or so, something goes sideways, the computer character you're supposed to escot simply stops, and the game can't progress, since that unit has to finsih. We're sure the rest is as fun as the first world of missions, but.. Yeah.
One of the worst games we have every bought. Constantly crashes graphics and interface are bad. Considering the cost we were expecting a lot more would not recommend this game to anyone.
We've been waiting a very long time (around a Year) to see this game fixed. Our issue was the crashes upon opening game. Now that's fixed, we have to say that the Game is awesome! We're a huge Battletech/MechWarrior fan. We're thankful we finally get to play this version.
It hasnt had a update in forever, crashes in final finished stuff often. Main problem is it was abandoned. Concern is a better choice for battletech lovers. It was made by a battletech fan. Really wish the company would come back to update and fix this one. It really is a great battletech game.

When you get to the fourth level you get about halfway through and it keeps crashing over and over.
We enjoyed aspects of this game. It seems as the developers have moved on. Not worth the $8. Worth $3 or less, unless updates are included. Support page is also down.
This game is fun and is very fun if you know the story and lore behind the universe. But just like Xenomorph Warrior the game on mission 4 freezes up and bugs out it just stops trying to work as soon as you get to the logging spot it just freaks out and has a picture of a mech and wont let you get past that point we have been waiting for a hour it just states there and its consistent at that point we have re played the mission 10 times and it does the same thing its really annoying.
We just bought this game and we havent been able to play it at all. The video keeps lagging and it freezes before we can play it.
Not a finished product in our opinion. It loads and runs on our IP11MP fine but the game play is bland beyond belief. We cant even get through the first 3 missions without falling asleep. Its maybe a quarter of what the original mechcommander was from PC. Im stuck in a truck with nothing else to do and still cant bring ourselves to play it… Its blah.

Cant finish game once on 4th mission game freezes on an enemy graphic of what looks like a jade falcon clan mech smh.
You get a great screen shot of a mrmech on mission 4 when game crasheseither fix it or sell it at the price of a 3 mission 4 minute game.

Developer website is not reachable, game crashed hard on mission 4 … Very disappointing. We want our money back, and for nobody else to waste theirs.
Poor unit control. Why is everything so small. Essentially cant hide because you usually cant even get that close to the vegetation let alone take cover near some. Our teammate gets killed and they keep talking even though theyre dead. We were discovered so mission 2 should gave been a failure but it wasnt. You fail to suspend disbelief. The game hold no interest. This is not Battle Tech nor Mech Warrior. Wasted $8. Should have paid attention to the 1 and 2 star reviews. This is Battle Tech in name only. The good reviews are likely from under 40 year olds. Our BattleTech PC game on 3 1/2 floppy disks (even) from mid 1980s was better than this.
Terrible interface. Mutilates the entire Mechwarrior story. Game is nearly unplayable. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Glitches everywhere. Cannot hold on a building to capture, etc. Poor craftsmanship in our opinion.
Overall, a good game. Has it's glitches, but between the mechlab and missions, it's a must for any mechwarrior fan. We absolutely love playing this game. Would Definately but another one or more missions.
This could be a great game, but it does need some more depth. Dont give up on the potential here.
This game has very nice gameplay, but is not stable enough for what we believe is it's final release. It also might crash at any point in time during Winfield Planet missions. We suggest that you should only buy it if you have an iPhone 5 or Ipad Air/4. But other than that, this game is a good recreation of MechCommander (good enough to earn 3 stars), but lacks multiplayer (1 star gone) and a much needed instant action mode (loses another star here).
This game has a cool concept and for a guy who has played a lot of mechwarrior the actual modification is not bad but, it needs polishing and more depth. Maybe skirmish, and secondary campaigns and in general once more, more depth try to bring it closer to the mech commander games.
This app was bad about crashing on iOS 7 on iPhone 5s.
Game doesn't let you back track on missions so that you can replay with different mechs without losing your progress.
Fun game when it isn't crashing… Which is about every 10 minutes… We've had the game for about a year. No updates or bug fixes. Takes up way too much space. 5 stars for concept and intent. 0 stars for execution and development. Save your money.
Enjoyed the Idea, but implementation fail. Two points for effort, zero for game play and zero for cost.
We've played through the game 4 or 5 times now on different devices at different difficulty levels. The game will crash on nearly every mission, even with all settings turned to the minimum and no apps running in the background. Often the crash is at a critical point in the mission, and results in having to restart the mission or back up to a previous mission.
Wanted to try it. But can't doesn't work on a iPhone 6, iPad4, iPhone 6SE all running iOS9.
We love battle tech and mech warrior and we wanted to love this game but it is too glitchy to exist especially for a pay to play game with years of development. Avoid.

We've loved Battletech and Mechwarrior since the days of the folded cardboard pieces in a box with a magazine-like rule book. This app will NOT help you have fun in that universe. We had such high hopes for this game a few years ago. But, upon release, it was unstable. We've waited and waited for it to be updated, but as time went on, so did the operating system updates, and this game has been left in the dust. Now you can't even get to gameplay before the game crashes. It should probably be removed, and we wish we'd never purchased it.
Using an iphone 6 running ios9.2.1 and the app loads the splash screen, goes black, then crashes. We agree with the comment that this app should be removed from the store as it is completely useless unless we suddenly time traveled back several years to be using outdated hardware and operating system.
