Want to improve your math skills with out having to memorize a hundred tricks? Mental Math Cards is designed to help people of all ages and skill levels improve their arithmetic abilities through easy to remember (and use) tips, practice question sets, and an addictive game. Unlike many other math apps, advanced problems are also supported to keep things challenging as your skills improve.
Mental Math Cards is fully integrated with Game Center – providing both Leaderboards and Achievements. The Game Center features allow you to test your skills against the rest of the world and to share your scores and accomplishments with friends.
Mental Math Cards provides step by step instructions on how to approach solving all of the problems it shows – for all operations and difficulty levels. Each difficulty level for each operation type is carefully thought out to build on the skills mastered in previous levels. For instance, hard multiplication problems are shown to be solvable by breaking problems down into medium and easy level problems.
Students: Prepare for the math sections of the PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, and MCAT, as well as for regular school tests. Many tests don’t allow for calculators, and greater comfort with arithmetic will still improve your scores even if calculators are allowed.

We are loving the new features on the app!
We’ve been using the app since it was a very basic question and answer type affair. The new features that keep getting added have increasingly made it more and more fun – and helpful. We’ve literally been using this app every day for years. Many thanks for making this!
The app has a lot of settings on it so you can do a lot of stuff. By far the best math app.
This was one of the best apps on the App Store. Definitely deserving of awards and praise. Now with all the new subscription based features added the basic app lags when trying to get a high score by going fast. Id love it if you made a lite version with the original set of features without all the fluff. We do appreciate that youve kept it ad free.
Kinda ridiculous that you can only go up to multiples of six and if you want anything more than 6 then you have to pay. App works good, we understand that you have to make money but dont advertise a free if your only gonna offer half of what you say your giving for free.

Honestly, you would think itd be easy to find a simple math practice app, but theres so many bad ones. This one is super easy to use. The interface gets out of the way so you can focus on the math itself. The buttons are easy to press, the numbers are displayed clearly, and the last update allows the numbers to be read out instead of shown; this is an excellent feature. Its very likely that if you have to do mental math its because the numbers are given to you verbally as opposed to on paper, so this allows a whole additional degree of practice. The things im missing in this application, and Im hoping will be added are: 1) More customization/difficulty with the numbers. For example id like to multiply 2 digit by 3 digit numbers and 3 digit by 3 digit numbers. 2) Decimal places! This is another thing Id like more practice on. 3) Negative numbers. Similar to the other aspects, we think this just would be a nice addition. Sure some of these things exist in other apps, but those ones all just feel harder to use and are clunkier. This is by far the cleanest, simplest mental math app, so im willing to wait for more updates.
We mean it works for us because we are going to third grade so Im working on it instead playing games.
We cant see the full fraction like the numbers are cut off but other then that its super fun! We are using an iPhone 8 so not an very big screen. Im sorry we cant find away to send a picture. We can say that every number is almost cut in half.
Too expensive for full features.
We hate math, which also means we dont like games like this. The time is only two minutes we think, that is NOT enough time to answer like- 12 x 9 (or maybe Im just terrible at math).

Love this app… Can you make for android as well?
We like this app but it needs a software update. For example, you should have some stats where you can check on your scores, accuracy and speed in one bundle. (ps, The yearlong membership is a great deal but we wouldn’t buy it)
You should make it able to type on the keybord, istead of us having to use us mouse it makes it so much harder, otherwise this app it great!
We’re quite rusty., but within’ some practice, we hope it will all come back to us. We’re starting off easy.
It won’t let our kid use the keypad on the computer and it takes forever to move the mouse across the screen plus the screen is not even full size. Do not get the app.
This game is literely the best math game EVER!!!
Im paid $10 for a full years access. We get to review our problems which is extremely important. We love the reminders it sends to us. App is user friendly. We like how you are timed and can pick the level of math you want to practice in.
This game it is very good we are going to 4th grade and it is helping us a lot we love it.
Its good and really helps our kids but some things you have to purchase but we love this game as a parent.

Love this app. Theres been some changes with this app over the past years and a few times we were worried that you could no longer practice in peace without a timer but then we realized there was a way to still use it the way we used to. What a great app. We’ve not found another like it.

We love math it helps you with life.
We think this will be good for us, but two improvements could be made. The numbers are too big with parts not visible. We need to guess at some numbers. Also, it would be nice to see the correct answer on the ones we get wrong.
Working great all of a sudden. Last update disabled both the ability to enter answers (either typing them or speaking them).
Its makes our son be smart at math.
