Instead of miis that you prepare for battle you solve nonograms and buy furniture for cats. 10/10.
We hardly ever write game reviews, but we seriously love this game so much. Its so relaxing and fun, and we love to play it after a tiring day or to help wake us up in the morning or on a long car ride. The puzzles are fun, the atmosphere is enjoyable, and we love collecting all our cats! Our favorite is Toto. :) we love how the more you play, the more the tower is filled with life, and they ask you to do little tasks to help them out from time to time. Im not bombarded with ads or anything, and this is for sure our favorite app on our phone!!! Also, if we could add in a game suggestion, maybe add in a way to say hi to the cats inbetween cutscenes! It would be so fun to ring their doorbell and see what kinds of things are on their mind, or even just give them a little wave to check in on them. If youre a developer of this game reading this, please know that we LOVE your game and this newest update! Please if its not too much trouble, add in more levels too with the next update, we never get tired of it! We were so sad before the latest update because we had almost done every puzzle in the game, but now that we have more ones to do we cant wait to keep playing! Thank you for an awesome game! :)
This is such a good game! Straight forward concept executed perfectly with super cute graphics/design and dialogue. We have finished all the puzzles multiple times only to continually discover recent updates adding even more to the game! The most recent update, adding little collectibles to be gifted to the cats, is a great new direction to go beyond just adding more cats/rooms. It opens up a whole new aspect to the game! We know its a very small team working on this game, so we just wanted to show some support for this lovely little game. <3.
We think this is the first review we’ve ever written for an app. We absolutely adore this game! We have one very specific complaint that is specific to us, but first! The core gameplay is solving nonograms, which is a very fun activity for us. Meow towers first couple of levels start you off with very simple nonograms, which are good for getting the hang of them. There are plenty of normal and hard levels, depending on your mood, and each update has a few hundred more of each. The pixel art resulting from the nonograms itself is cute as well and sometimes prompts us to look things up, like the venomous qualities of the blue-ringed octopus! The stamina recovery rate for each nonogram play isnt bad, especially since harder ones can take more timetime which counts as recovery time. You can get a couple free refills upon watching an ad each day, which is pretty fair. We’ve also bought the paid stamina refills, just because im impatient and love this game. There are ads in the base game, but theres a paid option to remove all ads (outside of the stamina recovery ones), which we found immensely worthwhile! The tower building and friendship building aspects of the gameplay are also incredibly enjoyable! We love filling up every cats apartment with their favorite decor, and we love learning more about each cat. Even the most recent update provided just a little more background into every resident of the tower, which we appreciate! You cant stray from the cats predetermined furniture sets, but you do end up unlocking plenty of themes for the tower and the nonogram skin. So that provides a nice sense of variety and customizability. There are some limited (?) event cats you do have to pay for, and a decent amount too, from what we recall. But that would only ever be a problem if you were crazy about 100%ing a nonogram mobile phone game. Which we am, and we spend enough of our time having fun playing this game that ill throw money at it every time. Overall, we cannot recommend this game enough, and we keep telling our friends, family, and coworkers about this game! We have played every single level, keeping up with each update before having to wait for another one. We have every cat and every cats furniture. We have almost every skin (ive only managed to get three other people into it, haha). However. The new update included nostalgiac items for each cat that you can buy (essentially. Theres an extra currency step) with the cans you earn from solving nonograms. I. Have run out of nonogram levels. We do not have enough cans to get every nostalgiac item (ive got like 3.5 left). The only way left to us to earn cans is by checking back every couple of hours and hoping ill get, like, 3. So basically, we think it would be nice if in a future update, this could maybe be accounted for. We have no immediate solution, because we do think it could possibly give off predatory vibes to have cans available for purchase. Maybe allowing lower can rewards for replayed levels? Thats all we can complain about though, and im definitely eager for anything that comes next!
This is one of the few mobile games we always come back to from time to time. We’ve been playing this game for over a year or so. We’ve always completed all the puzzles, all the cats, everything. And we always patiently wait for a new update. We’re grateful there aren’t tons of ads on the app too. Keep up the cute work :]
Such an amazing game but the only problem is that there is no access to our account from our other devices.
The sheer amount of love and care that went into this game is plain to see. Its a great game to casually pick up in waiting rooms or on breaks, which is exactly what we were looking for, plus we’ve always wanted to try nonograms! So many mobile games nowadays demand your attention and loyalty, inundating you as soon as you log in with pop-ups for season passes and premium currency and skins and data downloads and its exhausting! This game is a breath of fresh air. Theres no push to rush or grind and we love watching the rooms slowly come together and learning more about each cat. In short: – Adorable art – Brilliant and beautiful UI design – Cute customizations to unlock – A real sense of progression – Heart and soul, not a cash-grab The ads are non-intrusive and Ill gladly sit through them if it means we get to support these awesome devs in some way! Thank you for your hard work!
We love this game so much. The gameplay is smooth, the music is cute, and the characters are all so adorable. We get excited every time new cats are added in an update. And there’s barely any ads! The only downside is that the nonograms eventually end. We need more! Haha.
We started playing a couple of months ago and not only have we been playing it everyday since for the cats and the no no grams we have also roped 4 of our friends into it as well! We all love this game so much (Kiwi is our fav)
We rarely write reviews but this game is one of our favorites. The amount of furniture in the rooms is challenging yet feasible, making it all attainable goals. We have not only completed all cats/rooms, but also all easy and difficult puzzles and we’re desperately waiting for an update. Highly recommend.
We LOVE this game! Its relaxing and the story is amazing, but we will say that having to watch an add to reply puzzles. Sometimes adds dont work on our phone, we understand thats not your fault but it does make replaying while we wait for the next update kinda tedious.
This game is so relaxing and fun to play. The cats are so funny we often find myself laughing from there backstorys and Story Arcs. This game is well developed and the cartoony graphics give it such a cute atmosphere. We do one problem though and it nothings big but sometimes after we unlock new furniture it show that we unlocked some of Milos furniture even though we have finished his room. Again nothing major but we would love to see it fixed.

Really cute! Very fun puzzle game that doesnt have too many ads or micro transactions to play. We love picross games and this one adds just enough storyline to make it a bit more interesting. Highly recommend!
This game is incredible cute and draws you in with the graphics alone, but what makes you stay is the fun storylines, the beautiful and interesting new characters and the motivation to collect all of the furniture, and the fun and challenging nonogram puzzles! We’ve already shown this game to multiple of our friends and we cant wait for more content. The game contains hundreds and hundreds of unique nonograms that will keep you occupied with many different sets and themes to collect all. The designs of the rooms were so adorable and made us want to see what the other rooms would look like when fully decorated, and they really looked like places these cats lived in! There are many unique cats all with interesting dialogue and multiple dialogue options, and an incredibly cute story. As we went along we found myself wanting to befriend all of these cats, and deciding who our favorite is (Its Dino, we seriously love dinosaurs). Although we wanted to keep playing it cost a certain amount of energy to keep doing puzzles, luckily you could get more energy through minigames or watching an ad. Once we finished collecting all of the cats, our motivation to finish the puzzles dwindled, as we no longer had a goal to work to, but hopefully as they add more cats and furniture that will change! There are also many cute skins to collect and really so much to do without distracting from the main focus of the game. Besides the fact it is the most adorable game we have played in a while, the game itself is very fun and we would recommend it completely!
This game is really cute and relaxing. It doesnt need an internet connection except if you need to watch an add. Again, there are hardly any adds. Its a nice game to play in a long car ride or something like that. The overall game is really cute. We also like how theres not a limit on mistakes! This game is a cheat code for our adhd and anxiety and we adore it so much!! All the cats are so cute and we send the little diary pages they write to all of our friends because theyre adorable!!
We love this app so much! It is our comfort app and we love playing it so much. However, everytime we open the app and play, after a little while it brings us to a fake amazon page that says we won an ipad pro. Hopefully you can fix this bug so we can enjoy this game again!
We dont often write reviews, but this game is so cute and relaxing. We downloaded it when we were sick cause we wanted something to play in bed and its become one of our favorites! We’ve been mixed on nanogram games in the past, but this made us love them!!!
As far as im concerned, this game is perfect. We love picross, so im already in. The design is so cute, all the cats are darling, and theres so much to unlock! Reasonable price to remove ads too. 100/10 !!!!
We love this game so much, but we finished all of the levels and got everything for all of the cats, and we got all of the wallpaper skins!! Pleaseeee release an update, we miss the game so much!!
We really enjoy this game. It’s fun to play and there’s cute art. But when we first downloaded it, there were no pop-up ads. You could choose to watch them. We understand that devs need to make money, but we hate pop-up ads with a passion because they interrupt the music we’re listening to and are intrusive. It’s the worst addition to the game and we understand it incentivizes spending money for no ads, but we’re a broke college student and we just would like to do puzzles without watching ads that we don’t click on. We still watch the ads by choice to support the devs, but we would rather not have pop-up ones.
We love this game and have been playing for a long time, we keep up with all the updates and new puzzles. Lately we’ve been getting weird jumps to our browser to fake phishing sites and have been getting weirded out. This has been happening while playing the game. We havent clicked on the ad at the bottom, it will just boot us from the app and send us to a browser to a fake Amazon screen or a fake Starbucks reward. Im really frustrated and its the first time we’ve ever wanted to stop playing.
The game play for this game is fun, however we think its really shady that every few minutes of play time, the app will send us to safari to one of those webpages made to look like Amazon where it tells us to put in our info because we won a free iPad (which is obviously a scam). It only happens when Im on this app, its always the same web link pop up, and theres nothing that Im pressing to make it happen. It just automatically sends us to it every few minutes. Idk if the app creators are doing it on purpose or if they just made a game with poor security but its a big red flag for a game that is otherwise very fun. Im hoping this is an accidental problem and will be fixed soon. We didnt see any other reviews mentioning it so thats why Im posting mine.
This used to be one of the most honest and fun games we had ever played on the App Store, but in recent weeks theyve introduced a feature that will automatically open a browser window with an ad. For us, it is always a fake Amazon prize, definitely looking to trick you. These open without you even TOUCHING the ad at the bottom. Its gross, and frankly, until this is fixed, the game is unplayable.
This is one of our favorite games. Been playing it for a while. First had it on our old android phone before we switched back to iphone. It was one of the first apps we downloaded. We usually play it right before bed. We LOVE nonograms, and this one is easy enough and laidback enough to play before we hit the hay. (i typically do large-scale nonograms, so even the hard 15×15 are a breeze for us.) however, recently we’ve run into an issue where every time we open up the game and start a puzzle, ill randomly be forced into safari with a phishing website claiming we won a prize from amazon. Its incredibly frustrating, and its only happening with meow tower, so we dont think its an issue on our end. :( hope this can be fixed. We tried playing last night and it did the same thing. Doesnt happen with any other games or apps on our phone. We dont know what to do. Ill update our review to five stars once the problem is resolved! It seems im not the only one experiencing this problem.
We love this game so much but recently every time we try to play we get phishing attacks that send us to website saying we’ve won an Amazon gift card its so sad that we cant play anymore please fix this soon.
Theres another review experiencing the same issue as us where Im getting a pop up on safari to a phishing site and its really bothering us because we love this app!! We are hooked and would change our review to 5 stars if this gets figured out :(( its only been happing as of recently as the other users review detailed as well.
We would easily change our rating to a five star rating if one thing were changed. We dont mind the ads in between puzzles at all but recently (within the past week) a new insidious ad has started to pop. This one shows up while youre working on a puzzle an opens up a browser window, taking you out of the app completely. Plus, its a total scam which is sad to see on an app like this. Its some fake Amazon prize page. Super disappointing. Its too annoying and we dont think Ill revisit the app until its gone.
We havent written a review for an app in 10+ years but this app deserves all of the 5 star reviews. We are obsessed. This has such a cute little story with thoughtful and fun nanograms. We am, again, OBSESSED. Creating the perfect tower for our kitty residents is so fun! The fact that there are over 1,000 nanograms is a gift. We looooove the developers of this game. We want to be them. Not to mention the ads in this arent insistent and annoying. They make sense where they are and dont bog down the game. Thank you so much for creating such a lovely and beautiful app!
We’ve only been playing this game for about two days now but we adore it ! We’ve been pretty depressed lately so having cute cats to take care of and relaxing puzzles has been really nice.
Our only issue with this game is that we finish the new content too fast when it gets released, but we always look forward to the next update!

We literally have zero complaints. Its cute, fun, and doesnt have constant ads. They give you lots of opportunities to get more plays when you run out.
Absolutely in love with this game. Every single thing about it its ADORABLE im not even mad about watching ads to get pencils bc it takes 30 seconds and then we get to play. We put on a yt video in the background and GRIND. We’ve been playing so long to the point we have completed every single kitty house and now im just playing to complete the nonograms. We dont think we’ve ever written a review for an app before but this app is quite literally perfect. Everything about it from the gameplay to the art to the dialog is flawless. We’ve played every level and am very much considering deleting the app and downloading it again so we get to replay everything. The fact that this was created by such a small team is astounding to us. We’ve also tried to play other nonogram apps but none compare to meowtower. Every person we’ve shown this app to has become obsessed to the same level that we am. It is truly perfect and we love everything about it <3.
We love this app we’ve completed all the normal levels! Once we started the hard levels we were frustrated. With the size its hard to click the box you meant and hard to see. Such a lovely game but we cant finish it without a change in the UI. A zoom or something similar would be a great addition!
Game so goated that we bought the no-ad version but leaving 4 stars because we do wish there were 20 x 20 puzzles (or bigger), and marking Xs incorrectly shouldnt be programmed as a mistake – it makes solving the puzzle less rewarding.

We dont normally leave reviews but we have really enjoyed playing this game. We love nonograms but so many apps bombard you with endless LOUD ads and ugly designs. This game is cute and calm, and the puzzles are fun and interesting. The ads are mostly opt-in and unobtrusive. This app is also not pay-to-play, and even though they give you the option to pay a small fee for extras, its not required or expected. You can play the game just the same without spending money, which we really appreciate. We have been experiencing insomnia lately and this game is so sweet and fun to chill out to when we cant sleep. Our only suggestion would be to eventually add 25×25/larger or 20×10/odd sized puzzles, because we do love the 15×15 boards, but we still complete them very quickly. Totally understandable why they dont have these boards right now though!
We adore cats and games where you have to use the clues to make a picture (nonogram we think?) so this game is lovely for us. We love to play it while we just relax on a car ride or something related. Ill definitely be sharing this!
Absolutely in love with this game!! Easy to pick up and great for spending some time when youre bored and/or need to relax Its honestly one of the best nonogram games out there! Super cute and clearly has a ton of love put into it. Fun and easy to learn! It can get a bit challenging but nothing too difficult so you wont get frustrated :) The art is amazing and theres so many cute tracks we just wish we could listen to the full soundtrack somewhere haha. Do give this gem of a game a try! The ads aren’t invasive, theres tons of levels, and great content updates.

The cats are cute, the dialogue is fun, and the puzzles are fine. They’re not super hard, even the large ones, but what makes this game difficult, and the reason we rate it 4 stars, is the lack of the ability to both zoom in, or temporarily mark squares in order to count or reason. It is really REALLY tough to solve these 15×15 boards when we can’t zoom in or mark a square temporarily without it being called a mistake. This combined with tiny squares means that mistapping is so easy to do. Otherwise the game is perfectly fine. Ads aren’t annoying which is appreciated. Please consider adding a couple of quality of life features for those of us on smaller screens and poor eyesight!
