A Glimpse into Metamorph: Bible Memory Games
Metamorph is a scripture memory app that uses quick and simple games to help you learn the verse packs of your choice. Currently, Metamorph has four games to help you memorize some of the Bible’s most powerful and meaningful verses. Over time we will be adding more games, packs, and features driven by user requests and feedback.
In our day and age, it is hard to find apps that utilize time and reinforce positive habits. They are out there but they are rare. Metamorph aims to be an app that is life-giving and helps you fill your mind with things above and center your day around scripture and what God is speaking to you through scripture.
The four games included are:
Wall Defense
Shoot the invading soldiers in the right order to complete the verse before the soldiers reach the city wall.
Dot to Dot
Select 1 of 3 words from a row to advance to the next row and complete the verse.
Left or Right
Choose the next word in the verse before time runs out.
Pick and Choose
Choose each set of words from the verse in order before time runs out.
Metamorph was born from the idea that scripture is one of the most powerful pieces of content that we can put in our minds. With so many other apps, media outlets, etc. vying for our attention we wanted to create an app that has a positive spin and is valuable to spend time on. Our goal is to add more to the app and make it a place of community over time with improvements and things to keep people coming back. We are excited for you to join us on the adventure!

What a great product! It is fun,easy to use…. And is a fun way to get away from the world and its nonsense and into planting seeds of truth into our brain… Thank you so much! We also can pick our own verses to learn…. We really thank God for you!
Im loving this app so far, its easy to jump in for a bit and review. And free ESV! The app is a bit buggy though, especially the dot to dot game. The dots count spaces between sentences as words but the grader doesn’t so they get out if sync. If you take too long, the app crashes. Also Im a bit weirded out by the red splashes in the defender game, it seems wrong next to a lot of Bible verses. We like the game because it forces you to slow down but we wish it had like a space invaders theme or something, not shooting at people.
We cant get through 2 minutes ont his app without it crashing great idea of an app, but only if it works.
We didnt like having to create an account and log in. We would have kept the app for longer than a minute had one of the versions to choose from been the NIV or perhaps NKJV.
We loved this app! 5 stars for that! However, we didnt love the version choices which are available. 0 stars for actually helping us memorize scripture that we can understand. The only translation Id even heard of is KJV, and we wanted something more current. Preferably NLT, as its our main reading translation. We understand it cant be free if we want to use a version thats not in the public domain. We just didnt see anyway to even pay TO do it. The games were fun, and almost made it seem like we wasnt even learning. And thats an awesome thing!!! In the end, we chose to use a paid app thats less fun, but has a choice of translations we’ve actually heard of, use, and dont make it sound as if Im trying to be holier-than-thou when we quote it.
Unfortunately the drop down game is not recording our entries and the multiple choice games are missing some words of scripture. Please fix these things because this is a great app for adult use and its very kid friendly as well!

We love popping in for 5 min to get a chance to learn a new verse! Its just a fun game where we know Im using our phone as a positive distraction instead of just surfing.
