This is a fabulous, fun-to-play game with a lot of variety and challenge in the scenes. The appealing cute helpers add some whimsy and pleasure in playing the game. We recommend it wholeheartedly for all lovers of this genre of game.

Great game. On casual mode it's perfect for us. Not too hard, but not too easy. We thought the length was in line with all the other games. We recommend this one.

We are another person who does not write many reviews, unless a game is really horrible or really good. This is the latter. We really liked the story, the puzzles and HO scenes were fun and interesting, and the game ran without a glitch. If only they weren't always this good.

We absolutely loved this game! Please give us more! The storyline and graphics were fantastic and the puzzles incomparable. Please keep on with this storyline. We've played Midnight Castle but this is better by far.
Good game. Some glitches but overall it had everything. Liked the bonus chapter. Hope the continued series ties this story up so it can be a happy ending.
The main game ended a little abruptly, so maybe that why some people thought this was a short game. But, it was seriously fun.
Loved the storyline, graphics, voiceovers. It also has some interactive hidden object scenes as well as lists and silhouettes. Puzzles were fun. Warning – some 4 legged rodents in this game! Always, a joy to play elephant head games. Sorry to see it come to an end. Really gets you involved in the plot – not predictable which is a huge plus in our opinion. Thanks to the developers and Big Fish for this very entertaining game. KdBoots.
This game was fun we love the graphics and the helpers in the game, all around awesome game we will prolly play it more than once or twice.

Really enjoying this one. Dragons, witches, werewolf, enchantments. Great puzzles and hops. No glitches so far.
Elephant Games did a great job on this one! Gorgeous artwork, interesting storyline and varied HOG and mini games. Game is fairly long and you get awesome helpers! Transporting indicated map, morphing collectables, taro cards and coins. A few vermin but chased away by your helpers. This is a love story wrapped in an adventure. Verdict:buy and enjoy.
Too short, in our opinion. Only 26 scenes including the bonus chapter. Puzzles were easy to medium in difficulty. There are 16 hops for those who love them, and they were list, silhouette, uncover the pairs, and storybook based. Graphics were bright, which we appreciate. Also, a really good story for once! You collect morphing objects in every scene, 12 collectible cards scattered throughout, which you can then use to get your fortune told! You also collect 40 coins found in close-ups, which you use to buy food for various forest critters. Really fun to play.
Thank you this was a glitch free experience. Smooth graphics in the game. Clear instructions for mini games expect 1. Interesting story and funny fun helpers. Took off 1 star because the video graphics were blurry and that took away from the experience a bit. Had some really bad apps from BF lately. But this one has given us hope.

Good puzzles, a lot of variety in the HOAs. Plus you get a little pal in the lower left corner to help you out – we're a sucker for those. We.
This game has a unique way of presenting the storyline, told as a story from the character you play. We thought this was creative and captured our interest in the game itself. The bonus chapter helps explain the unanswered question from the main story, while from another character's viewpoint who also played a part in the main story. We loved this! It relates so well, while really having a satisfying finality to the game. The HOP puzzles were okay, and we did have issues tapping on items in the HOPs as well as the game itself. Other puzzles get harder as the game progresses, many of them similar to logic puzzles. Sometimes they can be confusing until you study them and unlock the thinking of the creators of the puzzle. We love having a challenge and being able to figure it out while having to use our brain instead of mindless matching games or puzzles that do not take much thought. Great job on this to Big Fish/Elephant Games! Happy with this buy.
Very well-made game, good story and bonus game. Game play might be a little short but other than that, pretty enjoyable over all.

This is a supernatural fantasy, which takes place during medieval times; and it contains essences of dark magic and intrigue. As the story advances through the narrative perspective of Jeronimo, you explore a dire and ill-boding environment as you pass through desolate forests with wild, growling beasts and a run-down, abandoned witch's lair; discover occult-like symbolism, such as the offerings of skeletal remains and witch's amulets; and fight off the ghastly apparitions of tortured victims. The graphics are adequate enough in that they are fairly clear; however, they could use some fine-tuning in order to enhance their sharpness. The color scheme is overwrought with a monotonous, tenacious shade of purplish-blue, which has become a prosaic earmark in almost every horror-themed game. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and puzzle-like; items require assembly. The teleport map enables speedy transport to desired locations; it functions in an all-in-one capacity since it confines some of the other components to one general area. You are also gifted with a journal to chronicle the story as you continue. The HOS are varied and creative in structure; we love the one where you find symbols from the alchemist-oriented cabinet inside the witch's lair. The puzzles are interesting in their simplicity; at times, you can choose between modes of difficulty. Transition between scenes is brisk; no delays. The collectibles are well blended into the background; you collect some within the close-ups as well. Your journey is not that vast in terms of locations to navigate through; however, there are a multitude of tasks to effectuate within each one. To sum it up, this one contained all of the favorable features that we expect nowadays, including some nice variety. Unfortunately, we deducted a star because we find the touch sensitivity to be somewhat unresponsive regarding the collection of inventory items. Otherwise, it's a worthy purchase and a fine way to spend some time.
Very rich and realistic graphics. Don't like the anachronistic items in the hidden object scenes like the plane. Also some minigames way to easy like marking the areas to put the objects in the gargoyle spot-the-differences mini game. Maybe a 5 yr- old would need this.
No apparent bugs and was fun to play.
It's a good game, but it's really short.
The game is refusing to give us a hint beyond telling us which room to be in, after escaping the locked cell in the jail. We have exhausted what we know to do there, so we are wondering if there is a bug? Loved it up to this point.
We skipped most of the mini games. Not impressed.
Escape the cell block hidden object. Celtic knots box. One knot disappears. Couldnt continue the game.
So far we were enjoying it until it would not load. At first it starts and asks you to resume game once you resume game the screen goes blank and it doesn't load we already tried to restart our device and it still doesn't load the game. Please fix this issue we would like to continue to play and complete this game.
Nice game, but it had very little story to it. Over very, very quickly.
Game was ok, but very short, not worth the price.
The graphics are smooth and the animation is enjoyable to watch. Of the hundreds of games out there, this game is one of the shortest. The mini games are not very challenging although there was a good variety of them. What disappoints most is the inability to pick up missed items after the games is completed, such as collectibles or morphing items. Without those features, it just mediocre coding. But, this attitude seems prevalent in many similar games, these days.
Took us less than an hour to beat the game and the bonus. Story was cool, just wish we wouldnt have bought the game.
Been playing game for awhile now when we open it it says continue game so we push it and screen goes blank. We want our money back. We really like the game a lot but want to finish it. Please fix this problem. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix it we would like to know. We are playing on our iPad. We dont want to lose all our data so restarting means we have to start over.
Halfway through playing, the game freezes up; the screen turns black, and then it fails to install. Have tried several times, to no avail. This is highway robbery, and the game needs to be fixed. Big Fish bears full responsibility for games that they sell, and cannot be played. Refunds should be provided to anyone who encounters and reports such problems, and done automatically.
Just nothing at all special. We are bored to the point of deleting it right after we post this review. Great games are too few and far between these days. Gotta get away from BF.
