Community Insight:
Absolutely adorable game! Can be quite confusing at times so we highly recommend tapping EVERYWHERE on the screen because there are angles we had no idea you could view until looking it up! A somewhat short but fun experience.
Its so easy like we totally didnt use hints every single time lol art style is cute and cat is freaking adorable nice game it got us playing for hours.
Cute, challenging, and fun. Whats not to love? We got our boyfriend hooked on this game as well. Its challenging to the point where we have to use a lot of hints LOL but our bf can solve it just fine without hints. 5/5, highly recommend.
This is a lovely game that really made us think! We had to use hints a few times but when we saw the answers it was a duh moment. None of them are so hard you cant solve them without hints. The graphics are adorable, and we love the whimsical feel of the whole game. We hope theres more to do. Ill have to check the developer. Thank you, we had a lot of fun! XOXO -Katty.
Just let us pay instead of making ppl watch ads. We play these a lot — this one's beyond us. Part of it makes perfect sense … We're beyond that point. Lol.
Our husband and we do these escape games for fun together. This creator is probably our favorite for escape game apps! Cant wait to do more of his games.
Had a good amount of challenge but it wasnt nonsensical like some puzzle escape rooms.
We enjoyed the game very much. It was the right amount of challenge and quirkyness.
Challenging in non typical escape room app ways :).
We loved the artwork, hint & answer systems made the process enjoyable.
Im always leery of reviews but this game had very rare ads, hints were good, it was challenging but not impossible tho we did seek out some hints online. We liked it.
Maybe Im just not smart enough but a lot of these puzzles were unintuitive and unnecessarily deceiving rather than challenging. So many clues and puzzles were hidden with absolutely no breadcrumbs to point you in the right direction. We used hints for probably 75% of the game and probably 50% of those hints were useless and we needed to watch another ad for the answer. Cute visuals and generally a good concept we just dont think it was executed the best.
Just a waste of time. The game is bugged and the 7 button box wont open. We feel that this game was made specifically to force you to watch ads to continue playing as well. We didnt have fun.
Fun puzzles and pretty tricky at times! Nice work.
An elegant escape room with charming art and challenging but logical puzzles. Looking forward to playing more games by the same developer.
The white cat is from pair room and the black cat was a reference to the black cat from pair room and we thought that the game was fun.
We want more levels please, we love that its not creepy and instead its cute.
We loved how bright, sweet and intuitive this game was. It was a great balance of easy and challenging, and we appreciated the hint options. Thanks.
Great game with a fun and cute art style.
Cutest lil escape room game, challenging but not too hard. The hint system is well done. Recommend if you like these types of puzzle games.
Adorable art, great puzzles, absolutely worth downloading.
The first thing we noticed was the cute art style! But its deceptive; the game is more difficult than it looks. Without ever moving away from its adorability it commits to making a player think. We loved it and stayed up way too late in order to finish it. Glad we downloaded it! And its free, with ads for hints, if you dont want to pay the nominal remove ads fee. Dont miss this hidden gem.
This game was as said, quite fun. We really liked and enjoyed it. It made us think. But it also had really cute characters. It also ran smoothly even when we were out and didnt have any wifi.. Which is rare for some games.
Im a huge fan of escape games. They fill our time when Im on deployment with no phone service. Ive had this game for a year and kept coming back to it because of the calming graphics, the challenge and our need to beat it. Im pretty sure we got half way through and couldnt proceed because of things needed to solve the game just disappears from our cart. Started it over a couple times and the same thing happens. Was sooo disappointed. We guess Ill just have to watch someone else solve this on YouTube. Hopefully theres a video.
Good thing theres an opportunity for a hint if you watch an ad because you arent going to beat this game without hints. However, the puzzles are extremely easy once you are able to find the matching items. Passed this whole game in about two hours (including time taken while watching ads), so a VER quick game. TIPS: Objects and openings appear AFTER you gather things, so touch everything all the time, always. Most objects have markings on them or can be manipulated to reveal more clues. Keep in mind that some items are flipped upside down: thats all Im going to say. The cabinet in the kitchen with three drawers: only one drawer opens (or can be used) two are never accessible.
Thats it. Thats the review. It looks like something Id enjoy, but the Google-fed ads cant be turned off. Id pay for that option, were it available. Since its not, well just no.
We absolutely love this game. Theres so much detail towards it and it took a good amount of time (for us at least)! The art style is super cute and the puzzles can actually be very tricky if you havent found all the items! We love this game so much and we cant wait to play it over and over again.
We love this game so much! The illustrations, animations, and user interface are so smooth and extremely pleasant to the senses. We love that its wholesome without being juvenile and that the hints are the characters thoughts. We will definitely play every game made by this team in this style.
It was WAY better than expected. Its so well made & actually had puzzles that needed clues you had to discover. It was fun.
Im sad that its one room but still.
Im in love the fact that it was so long but it was worth it! Felt like our brain was hurting butits really good just wish there can be more.
We love this little game it was you know different little hints but we wish she was a little bit longer because we did love all the stuff animals and overall, we loved the whole, definitely adorable little set up.
We think this might be the cutest and smartest puzzle game ive ever played.. (and ive played omori.. 13 times..) we got stuck a few times but the little guy down there helped us so im ok ! But yeah u should totally play this.
This game was soooo cute!! We had to watch a lot of ads to get hints but honestly we didnt mind bc we loved the puzzle of it. Definitely recommend for people who like little mind games and need something for distraction.
The K on the blue key looks like a C.
Great puzzle game. Little slow to star when its just picking up items but picks up after that. Only thing is some parts a little confusing even though we understood 2 examples are the box with the 7 buttons even though we saw the code the way we had to input it was confusing. We kept trying to enter it in order of the numbers so if the code was 6247135I would enter the 6th spot then the 2nd and so on rather than entering the 5th spot first. The other one that was confused us was at the very end the letters on the key. The last letter didnt really look like k more like a c. But those didnt really stop us from enjoying the game. Cant way to try the other escape games.
Had a really fun time playing this! And used more hints than Id like to admit, but ik its helping the person/people that made this lovely game. Ads are only once when you open the app (very short too!) and otherwise optional for help Going to recommend this to our partner, and might play again ourselves :).
One of the keys was not clearly marked at the end of the game. The keys had letters and one of them looked like the letter C but it was the letter K. The guitar section would not work properly when we pressed the turning keys it took longer to respond. We went through the u tube walkthrough for help and there was no problems getting through the guitar part in the game. We had problems with it. Some trouble shooting that needs help in the game. It was fun but very challenging.
The art was super cute but the actual game was really aggravating. And the hints never helped they just stated the obvious.
Be prepared to watch a ton of ads.
Seems we're not the only one that the 7 button box doesn't work for. It just doesn't work.
This was just a absolute masterpiece. There are several reasons why the details in an escape room game are amazing and crucial to the overall experience. Firstly, the details make the game immersive and believable, which is essential to keeping players engaged and invested in the challenge. For example, intricate props, authentic-looking clues, and atmospheric lighting and sound effects all help create a sense of realism that transports players into a different world. Secondly, attention to detail is important to ensure that the game is challenging but not impossible. Clues must be well-designed and logically linked to the puzzles that players need to solve. This requires careful planning and execution, as well as a thorough understanding of human cognition and problem-solving processes. The smaller details, such as hidden compartments or disguised clues, can also add a level of intrigue and excitement to the game, making it more thrilling and rewarding for players. Lastly, the details in an escape room game can also help to foster teamwork and communication between players. By creating a shared experience that requires collaboration and cooperation, players must work together to solve puzzles and progress through the game. This can lead to improved social skills, increased confidence, and a sense of accomplishment that enhances the overall experience for everyone involved. In summary, the details in an escape room game are crucial to its success, as they help create an immersive and challenging experience that is both rewarding and enjoyable for players. From prop design to puzzle construction, every detail matters and contributes to the overall enjoyment and success of the game. This game was just right for us.
The puzzles are awesome!!! It took us lots of patience to solve it without using hints. We hope to see more of these escape games.
LOVE HOW MUCH thought was put into this game and its so tricky and even with the hints, they dont EXACTLY tell you how to do things. Keeps it exciting.
A lot of escape room games are very samey, and dont have particularly in-depth puzzles; touching everything with every item you have is the main way to solve anything in those kinds of games. Mimicry is an excellent example of how to do escape rooms right, with very clever puzzles that you have to think about and roll around in your head for a bit; the kind that are very satisfying to figure out. It also has an extremely cozy and cute aesthetic, with a soft quality to the design that makes you really want to stick around and explore. We never felt pressured to hurry up and move on to the next step because the game is shaped in such a way that makes you sure youll get it eventually, and its fine to just relax and ponder potential solutions for a while. The art is excellent, the audio design is excellent, the level design is perfectly balanced between puzzle stuff and delightful decoration. We highly recommend hanging out with this cute little creature and seeing what you stumble across along the way.
There was one part that was extra hard for us to understand (the same one that everyone else is mentioning) but once we figured that out we were able to get the rest with some hints. This was like a real escape room but on our phone. Loved it.
Its challenging and genuinely makes u wonder what u r missing we loved this it made our brain think so hard.
Some puzzles were straightforward. Some were very very clever and we would not have thought of them, but was able to get eventually through trial and error. And then there was 1 we could not get and would not have gotten without a hint. Touch everything, closely examine everything, and try every solution you can come up with.
One of the better escape games Ive played, and Ive played a lot! Everything was straight forward and common sense, even if we got stuck a few times, when we finally figured it out it didnt feel like a stretch or too obscure of a puzzle. Reminds us of Neutral Escape Games, the same absolute simplicity in gameplay but amazing to solve puzzles. Really good.
Wonderful, fairly linear, single-room escape with a lot of clever puzzles and a pleasant, clean art style – and the little creature is adorable, even though it doesn't do much except follow you around. We definitely will keep an eye out for this developer.
