Mines of Mars is a procedural atmospheric mining game that is inspired by games like Metroid and Motherload.
It is also a story based adventure game with dark secrets, great weapons, tons of different items, and a gorgeous world to explore.
The world of MoM is procedurally created, so that every time you play it, it will be a little different.
There are tons of different enemies, dark corridors, and a large variety of fauna and ambient creatures.

Excellent play great format deeper than expected for a simple appearance. Wish there was more you can do with the robots.

Best free game Ive ever played, we remember playing this when we were 17, now Im 20 still playing.
We played when we were a kid and playing it now it is so fun.
This is a great game the only thing that wold make it better is if it was a 3d free roam but other than that it is a fantastic game.
We remember playing this when we were younger and it is just as great as we remembered help this get to 5 stars we had quite a lot of trouble finding it we scrolled for about 1-2 minutes but its a great game good job Crescent.
Ive played a lot of games and everybody wants money, but we really enjoy ourselves in this game, we did layer by layer, maybe Ill spend some money later but so far havent spent anything really fun good music relaxing its chill bro.
So we to metal part and we thought this game wasnt scary at all BUT THEN SOME BIG GIANT BIRD THING CAME OUT OF NO WHERE scared us a lot and the game is a lot of fun to play we got a shotgun and some armor which we thought was cool getting.
Good for long car rides and just chilling or if you get bored :).

We remember player this game a couple of years ago and we just remembered it and reinstalled it. This game is just as good as the day we uninstalled it on our kindle.
Cool game we uh …dont really other thing to say…uh this is awkward uhm yeah.
When we first got this game we were immediately in love with it, we loved the exploration aspect and the mystery of the history of Mars, we would 100% recommend this to everyone we know.
We found this game to be absolutely worth the $0.00 USD we spent on it! Seriously old school side scrolling game with very minimal gaming variations… Luckily, we love digging and digging, digging and digging, digging and digging… Oops… The ore bin is full, we better enjoy walking back to the portal and turn in… Walking and walking, walking and walking.
A really fun game when you get far enough into it, a lot like terraria, would definitely recommend.
Is the name a nod at Ridley Scott? If so we would give this game an extra star. Story is interesting! Gameplay is charming.
Our suggestion is for world to be wider but over super great game.
We had an idea for multiplayer everyone has there own mines and on the surface everyone can talk but cant steal and u can invite ppl to a multiplayer ours with 3 local friends and u all work together.
The concepts and building blocks of how the game were created upon give it an amazing play through.
Its a great game and we would recommend it to everyone.
This game is a great time killer and it has GREAT potential.
Its fun there is quality and plenty of substance too the game.
We had a long 12 hour flight from US to Japan and needed some entertainment. This game made the flight seems so fast. We played almost 10 hours straight just wondering around the mines and finding new things. One questions tho and warning spoilers ahead! We dont want to ruin the end of the story so we will try not to but after beating the final creature near the bottom, our game crashes! Or it does something like crashing. Dont get us wrong we loved this game and will continue playing but the story is so good that we need to know what is suppose to happen when the statue opens its mouth.
We love this game its so fun and we just started playing it so get it.
Very fun game, lots of things to do and plenty of things to keep you busy for a long time.
Please let us build a robots as well. After shooting them and killing, they dont spawn and it feels kinda lonely :( wanna see someone walkin around… Smiling.
This is a very fun and adventurous game, combining resource grinding with 2D shooting, and sealing it together with a nice storyline. This game is a 2D masterpiece.
Not much to say but this game is so fun we just think they should make the tier two items like cobalt and emerald easier to achieve.

This game is very fun and addictive. Mines on mars zero is very very fun. Ive been playing it nonstop with wonders underground waiting to be found. It was really cool when we fount some alien temple and saw a giant red alien thing that almost killed us. It was also very interesting how you guys added that extra terrestrial lever block to where it opened to an alien temple. This game is very creative and we cant stop playing. Our only question is, whats the difference between mines on mars zero and mines on mars? The one that costs.
We have only played a few hours, but we are really enjoying the game for what it is. Some things that we wish could be ironed out is the jump system, just would be easier to have a dedicated button starting out and even an option to toggle jet pack to conserve fuel. All in all, a very well constructed game in our eyes. Looking forward to more updates.
Such a fun time killer, this is the kind of game we would spend hours playing on a road trip or without wifi, overall great graphics, great story, and great gameplay. Keep up the great work.
A great game to play all the way around. We have been playing for several years now. We still love it. And look forward to more challenging levels and new planets, make this game even harder to resist with alien miners that are fighting for gems, and you must defend your base.
Good way to kill time and not even realize it…we jus happened to come across this game.. Glad we did…o highly enjoy it.
The concept is relaxing and the music are beautiful ambient tracks suited for exploring alone on the red planet.
When it asked us to leave a review we went to do so and came back to find out we hadnt been saving the game at all like we were supposed to and lost our 30 mins of gameplay lol. This is the first mobile game that feels fulfilling though in a long time.
We'd give this game five stars – it's got one of the best indie game soundtracks we've heard, and the gameplay is relaxing. After hours of play it crashed and completely hung any time we tried to access the savegame, so there's that.
Really enjoy this game. Occasionally a little stingy on available items to ours. Would love additional levels. Completely upgraded and bought all the guns and it was over.
Really great game. Only issue is the ads. We get they are necessary to keep the game free, but they are rather lengthy. Other than that, this games is really addicting.
Good so far but havent found creatures yet.
Every time we go somewhere far we have to go all we have to travel all the way back.
