Functions:
• Flags: Press and hold on a cell to deploy a flag. Press and hold again to remove the flag. A cell will never open if you click on a flag
• Question marks: (Disabled by default) Press on a flag to turn it into a question mark. Press on it again to turn it back into a flag
• Hints: The hint button will highlight the surrounding of a cell which is already opened, and from which it is guaranteed to make progress
• Tap number: Press on an open cell to reveal the cells surrounding it. This will only work if the amount of flags placed around the open cell is equal to the number on that cell
Coins:
• Earn 1 coin for 1 correct mine flag
• Earn bonus coins for completing a game
Save your profile to the cloud with iCloud:
• You can save your themes and stats with iCloud and restore them later if you happen to switch to a different device. Make sure you are logged into your iCloud account on your device. Also make sure that iCloud Drive is enabled in your iCloud settings on your device otherwise your themes and stats will not be saved.
Make sure you are logged into Game Center (if you are not automatically logged in):
• Click on the leaderboards button located in the Stats window
• If the game doesn't log you in or prompt a login window after a few seconds close the app
• Go to your device's settings and login to Game Center from there
• Open Minesweeper Classic: Retro and click on the leaderboards button again and it should log you in

The way its captured, it leaves a truly retro sense as you play it. Simplicity, a tutorial, and a guide for the usage of all of the helpers. Ads exsist, but the one time payment makes it easy to play a very great retro minesweeper. 10/10, this app taught us how to play minesweeper in just 2-3 games, kills alot of tome.
We have played over a thousand hours of minesweeper in this app. We cant tell you how many books Ive listened to while playing this game. Whenever we get a new phone, we dont leave the Apple Store WiFi until it downloads completely. We love it.
This made us not want to cut ourselves anymore 5 stars.
The app is amazing. We love it and we love how theres skins for the background but we think theres a glitch because we were trying to play again and then it just closes the app out and now we cant play.

A small downside is the amount of ads during after completing a board/clicking a ours, but other than that we like it, its a decent app version of the classic minesweeper:) we also like the revive factor Overall its pretty decent!!!;).
We love minesweeper! It is our favorite game. We love this version of minesweeper especially because it has cute themes you can purchase. The levels are fun, the daily challenges are cool. Its a great way to always make us come back.

Ive been playing this game for several years now and it is VERY well made. Microtransactions are not necessary in the slightest as coins are easy to get (daily rewards) and the only thing that we paid for was to remove ads (which are not that intrusive at all). There are various goals such as collecting all of the various themes and the collectables in optional level portion of the game. There are 10,000 levels, giving a lot of extra gameplay. Currently, Im working our way through these levels to take a break from trying to beat the hardest game option (30×30 with 270 mines). Overall, very enjoyable and would definitely recommend.
Its a good minesweeper app. It has good challenges (not for beginners), themes that look good, and overall has good settings. If you want something good, play this game(we LOVE MINESWEEPER) P.S: if its your first time, dont be frustrated if you cant win a single game on easy, just practice.
Its a good minesweeper remake. Nothing much else.
Its a great minesweeper game, been grinding since we downloaded it. The part we really enjoy is its custom mode where you can change the amount of rows, columns, and mines. However, there is 2 things Im a little upset and we think one of them is probably our phone but we dont know so No.1, the ads pop up too much like once we accidentally hit a ours, theres a minute long ad trying to bug us and Im not paying micro transactions and No.2, most of the time just goes from like 60 fps to 30 fps which we can barely get rid of (this is the one we think that is our phone) but overall its a great game and looks like the very first minesweeper back in 1990.
It is good but it is too hard! Who ever made this game make it easier because it is giving us a headache.
Just remove temu ads and any other virus ads.
Super great game only downside is theres a lot of ads (one when the round ends everytime) and its kinda annoying sometimes but besides that its super good we recommend.
This is a nice app so far, pretty fun and has a nice selection of themes you can look over and work towards using coins! Only complaint is the amount of ads. Of course, most free games nowadays have ads, but its annoying and makes us sour enough to avoid a five star rating. Other than that, nice game.
Good layout for a classic game but ads between every game win or lose is a bit excessive.
The app asked us to rate it, which we think was way too early as we only played two levels. So far seems fine. We dont like timers in games so it gets rated down based on experience.

Our cousin first told us about this game, and the way she explained it was kinda bad, so we downloaded the game itself, and read the instructions, and now we are officially addicted. Its raging and fun at the same time, and youll get the hang of it soon. (pls delete ads).
This game is very fun and we cant stop playing it. =).
The developer(s) of this minesweeper game have obviously spent plenty of time making this the best mobile minesweeper experience they could. Theres even a feature that keeps you from accidentally clicking squares that are on the side of your screen that arent on the edge of the minefield. That way, if youve zoomed in and happen to align yourself such that it looks like youre at the edge, you cant try to clear squares that look safe from that perspective. You can switch between clearing mode and flagging mode, but holding a square down will do the opposite of the mode youre in. The random seed of the mines is set after your first click and ensures that your first click resides within a bubble. You can customize the minefield size and density, customize the theme, play in portrait or landscape, etc, etc.
Its minesweeper and theres not much ads. We love that.

There are so many options to make the game as perfect to your preference as possible. There are daily challenges so you dont stay bored and 4 well made difficulties with a custom section. It saves progress when you leave. The only issue is ads, but they barley show up and just turn on airplane mode. 5/5.
This minesweeper is really fun, you would think that you want an infinite minesweeper but having a border and an ultimate goal is super fun! Its not easy but thats good, you use brainpower and its fun to figure out what places are good and bad! Better than infinite minesweeper because you have a goal and challenging enough to keep you interested.
This is an incredible app. Everything about it is quite seamless. The mechanics are quite good, we love the amount of themes there are, the hints are pretty advanced, we like the options of game sizes, and we like the options to use coins to keep going after failure. The ads are not overbearing, and if you have no WiFi (or turn on airplane mode) the game still works and without ads too.
There are ads but no adds can be purchased for 6$.
This game has been an amazing experience for a long time. From teaching people to use a mouse to now being used in an app.

Good app! We wanted to find an app to play minesweeper and went on the apple app store. The first app we tried had good reviews but we were not impressed. It had too many ads and we didnt like the set up very much. We honestly think some of the good reviews must have been fake. We got fed up with it and looked for another app. We saw this one and it had amazing reviews but we were worried it would also be disappointing. Turns out, its fantastic! Highly recommend. The one time payment for no ads is SO nice! And we love the ability to rearrange the top menu bar. The different features are also great. Highly recommend.
Ive put so many hours into this game. Its the most satisfying and challenging minesweeper game on the App Store. Only $2.99 to remove ads is well worth the price for the value you will receive from this game.
This started today, but in the flag mode (where you can flag where the mines are) its actually exploding the mines ending the game really frustrating. Love the app and wanted to report it.

This is our favorite minesweeper app of all time. So you can guess how sad we were when it started to crash every time we tried to open it. We have deleted and redownloaded it several times, but it always ends up crashing as soon as we click on it. Please fix :/.
Please we love this version of minesweeper so much its the best one out of every other option for iphone. Somethings wrong though because at some point this month it started closing automatically whenever we launch it. We think theres a bug or something we had to uninstall:(.
We have used the app for a long time, but now it crashes constantly and will not open. Tried deleting and reinstalling and the issue still continues and has continued for several days. It was a fun puzzle to solve when it worked.
