Community Insight:

We adore this game! We wish there was more episodes. This is the type of game that we really enjoy. Im a Huge fan of Miss Fishers books and Tv series! We really wish that was that the makers of this game would continue making lots more.

The television series was such fun to watch and we were thrilled to see a game tie-in! Sadly, there are only two episodes and it is probably too much to hope that they will release more. That said, each episode is a stand-alone mystery to solve within an overarching frame of a larger storyline and we would love to reach the conclusion of that greater story! Most of the time you are playing the Phryne Fisher character and working to solve a murder, but there are side quests with some of the other characters such as Dot, Jack, etc. We love mystery adventure games and the format of this is somewhere between such a game and a game-novel, since you are mostly led through the story but still have to make some deductions on your own to get to the ending. If you enjoyed the books and/or the television series, this download is highly recommended.

We LOVE this game! We particularly love how authentic the characters are represented, even so far as lots of great opportunities for Phryne and Jack to flirt Very engaging. And we really appreciate character development between the episodes. Really good storyboarding. We NEED episode 3 and beyond. How can we help get this going? Kickstarter? We cant wait to see the next mystery to solve.

We agree with everything rebeccaatthepicnic wrote in her review. This game is fun, and Im really hoping there will be an episode 3 at some point.

This is a great little game for those of us die hard Miss Fisher Murder Mystery fans. We cant wait for episode 3! Hopefully they will create one since its been 3 years since the last one.

The second episode was a bit stronger than the first and there are a couple quirks that we didnt love but the real charm here is how well they have captured miss fishers snap, crackle, flirt and sass. The characters are incredibly well portrayed in this game and Im eager to find out more about the overall storyline. The sound effects are very pleasing and the costumes fun. We just wish there were a way to get hints or go back and find what you missed. One thing that hit us wrong: in episode two a character shows up and before he introduces himself the game label for him is simply the word Japanese rather than say local man or worker. We would say the writers could have worked on the racial sensitivity aspect of this game.

This is a lushly drawn version of Phrynes world. The costumes, music, and dialogue will thrill fans of the books and show. We mean who doesn't want to watch Phryne and Jack flirt via telegram?! Reminded us a bit of the old Kings Quest/Space Quest games in that you have to find things in the right order to make use of them. Particularly liked that Jack, Dot, Mac, and even Aunt Prudence get side quests to complete. Would have loved to see Episode 3 and possibly beyond! Maybe with the upcoming Miss Fisher movie well eventually get closure on the story.

We really loved this game! Its beautifully written and the graphics are executed perfectly. We noticed that the latest installment was released a year ago. Will the next installment, Chapter 3, be released any time soon? We would greatly appreciate a response.

This game captures everything we love about the show and put it into a video game. Delightful. Hoping that the developers put out episode three.

Rarely do we ever leave any type of review but this game is the most fun Ive had in a long time when using our ipad. Great characters and storyline. Episode two is even better than the first.

This novella like role-play mystery game is so good and entertaining. But why isnt there a part 3? Ive been waiting.

As a huge fan of the television series we were thrilled to discover there was a video game! The game is charming, with gorgeous art, fun mechanics and excellent storytelling. The first episode is free, and the second is only 2.99$, which is worth it for the enjoyable replay. We do hope episode 3 comes out soon, as episode 2 ended on a cliff hanger.

Absolutely adore the series and the game was the perfect way to test out our own detective skills! We NEED episode 3, we're hooked.

Ive been really enjoying this game! Ive been disappointed by other spinoff games (harry potter Im looking at you) but this one is pretty good. We like how they kept the 1920s aesthetic, the music and characters from the show, and you can collect pieces from Miss Fishers notable outfits. You can search for clues and then put them together to make deductions. We would pay for more.

We really enjoyed the storyline and the mini games in Miss Fishers adventures. We can not wait until episode 3 is available.

This game is absolutely amazing, we love the Miss Fisher series.

We love the Miss Fisher series, and was so excited to find out about this app. Ive since played through both available chapters, and really enjoyed them. Its a level up from your typical hidden object mystery game, and had great storylines and characters. And as a great fan of the shows costumes, we enjoyed being able to find and switch between ensemblesa fun little addition. Cant wait for the next installment.

This game is absolutely awesome. It is so fun, and the characters look and act almost exactly like they do in the TV series. We can't wait for our birthday so that we can get the second episode too.

Love the show, love the books, happy to support all things Miss Fisher and this is so fun.

Fun interactive mystery game. We really enjoyed the first episode and the second episode is shaping up to be quite fun as well. We like that the developers streamlined the search function for the second ep. It vastly improves the experience.

Quite Stylish, Funny, & Fun! A fun game & a tribute to the tv show It even has all the tv show characters represented including Dr. Mac! 5 Stars.

This seems like a cool game and so we're leaving 4 stars but we have a complaint and it's that when we turn the sound and music all the way down it still has some sound going on and the app won't let us play music when it's open:( we want to play music in the car and play this game to waste some time but we can't :((.

We love the game, it's interactive, challenging and beautifully designed. We played through all of episode 1 and purchased episode 2 when it became available. We made it quite a ways through the episode and then when we opened it today, we were having to start over the episode. Cleopatra's Curse is great, but we don't want to redo the whole bit we'd had done already.

We like the game but it should have better clues and more data. Most of the time we get stuck and without any clue or help. It's very frustrating.

Not enough options or clues. Pieces of clothing to change Phrynes outfits almost impossible to see. Need to add puzzles to make it more interesting as a game. Will continue watching it on TV.

The artistry is beautiful, but we wouldn't really call this a game. It's more of a story with very little player interaction. We regret spending our money on it.

Im a fan of the movie, books & tv but this game is a waste of money. The Game keeps telling you to deduce and Ive run the clues every possible way but the game wont move you forward past a certain point. Very frustrating & a waste of money. Very disappointing.

EDIT: It's been updated! We really do love this game! It's so much like the series it's based off. However, it is incredibly short. Also… Where is the next episode. It's 2017. Are they just going to leave us hanging? (Like the TV series might we add!) That's all! :) Hope you enjoy it like we did :).

A wonderful show turned into a delightful game.

Love this game- ready to start the second chapter.

If you like mystery games that aren't hidden object or pay to play, this is your dream come true. You don't have to watch the show to get it, though it helps since the game doesn't give much backstory on the characters. We actually discovered the show through the game. We're fed up to the back teeth with mobile mystery games. Even the "adventure" category is full of the same formula regurgitated with different characters – even big name franchises are just the same game over again! The odd innovative, non-formulaic game lacks the casual element. Not so with Miss Fisher. With a Phryne-like disregard for what everyone else is doing, this game allows you to explore, discuss, and deduce. You visit different locations to look for clues in a point-and-click style, and you discover new ones throughout the game. The suspects and other characters (including ones not part of the show) are fleshed out, and sometimes you need to put clues together to form a new conclusion to move forward in the story. A second episode is set up and we can't wait! A continuation just like this one would be more than worth it, but if we could make a few suggestions to improve, we might recommend a task list and a little more detail to the exploration. Sometimes it's hard to remember what you were supposed to do if you put the game down for a while, and it would be cool if you had to look under something for a clue or go through a trash bin – actually go through it, not just click on it and have Phryne say she went through it. However, we will happily play Episode 2 if nothing changes other than the story advancing.

The game is not a hidden object or anything like that. There is a ton of reading, deductions, and our suggestion is to search every little thing for clues (or accessories). The conversations are easy to navigate through and the clue match-up toward the end was a bit tricky. We're an avid BFG HOB player so the skill level for this was easy and at times boring (we would have enjoyed just reading it without all the tapping to progress the conversation). Our five star rating comes from being a fan of the books and tv show. The characters are amazing! The mystery is spot on for the series. There is a cliffhanger, FYI, so if you are a compulsive shopper (like us) be prepared to end one game and then purchase another (it's not out yet so we're good for now).

We love the Miss Fisher series, and this game fits in perfectly with the television show. If you're looking for a mystery game with a lot of work, this isn't it. It's more like an interactive novel version of an episode of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. We can't wait for episode 2 of this game! <3.

We are not an avid game player of any kind but we rather enjoyed this one. The artwork and music are really quite beautiful for a game. We did get stuck at one point fir awhile & almost stopped playing. The key is to keep doing deductions. .. We confess we had to take them one at a time in sequence to make sure we got them all. When will TinMan be releasing Episode 2? Will we get a notification of some type.

Any fan of Miss Fisher will love this! Oh it makes us want to pop on the television right now! If you're a fan of the show – buy this.

This is a great little cozy mystery adventure game. We admit that we're a fan of the Miss Fisher TV series, so we're sure that added to our enjoyment. The characters in the game are just like their counterparts in the series in looks, actions, and dialog. The style of the game is like a comic book, where the characters are painted into the scenes, and you have to read the dialog. But you can (and must) search each scene for clues. The music in the game is similar to the series as well, which added to the ambiance. The game crashed several times, but it really caused no problems, because it has an automatic SAVE feature. As soon as we restarted the game, it began in exactly the spot where it had crashed, and we were on our way again. We had about 3 hours of gameplay, which is a bargain for the price. As you search for clues, you are also searching for pieces of Miss Fisher's glamorous wardrobe, which adds to the fun. We highly recommend this for Miss Fisher fans, but also for anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries. We look forward to the next episode.

Kudos to the artists! Especially Lisa Jeong! The characters were beautifully drawn. Loved the whole aesthetic of the game. The gameplay is simple; it would be fair to call it a visual novel.

This is more of a visual novel than a mystery solving game. If you are a fan of puzzle solving, turn to the Nancy Drew game series. If you enjoy questioning suspects and uncovering clues in a linear game this is for you. That said, we enjoyed it immensely and cannot wait for part 2.

We Love Miss Fisher's murder mystery TV show, and they did a good job staying Close to the TV show in the books but finished a little too early and needs the second episode.

Took a few hours to play through the whole game and take our time. We're a huge fan of the show and this game was wonderfully true to it. Right down to the dialogue! Not much replay value other than for the hidden outfits, but we look forward to the next installment.

It's a great game, especially for Miss Fisher fans. We were kind of hoping for some hidden object scenes or mini-games but the dialog is witty and entertaining -the characters match the tv series which we especially liked.

This is a great game, made even sweeter by the addition of the music and visual details from the show. Lisa Jeong did a terrific job capturing the varying expressions of Essie Davis's face in character. The story is fun & frothy, with a … But no, no spoilers. If you're a fan of the series, you'll love this game.

The story and characters are true to form. It felt like we were playing an episode from the series. Great fun and can't wait for next episode.

This game was overall fun. We thought the visuals, storyline, and music was fantastic. We look forward to more.

It's so true to the show and feels like it's back again. The gameplay is great too and the mystery is well written! Cant wait for part 2.

This game has been amazing so far. Unfortunately we finished it rather quickly, can't wait for the next chapter.

Gorgeously done! Art is beautifully executed, storyline is compelling and gave us several little laughs throughout. Fairly intuitive to play. Loved it.

Had a blast playing through this game. Very pretty, good story, and fun music. Estimate it took us about two hours, if you're curious about time. The added character stickers for iMessage makes it a steal. Note to devs: this was a little hard to find in the app store. Otherwise excited for the next chapter.

We love this visual novel! Tin Man games did a fantastic job adapting Phryne Fisher into an interactive experience. We love the lady detective. We love this game.

Hi, we just wanted to report a bug, and could not find any other way to report. We have been unable to leave the dressing room.so for support 0/5 stars Otherwise we really enjoy the game, it's been a fun way to explore Ms. Fisher's world. For game play 4/5 stars.
