[Story]
At first look, the world you see may seem to be nothing out of the ordinary. Look beneath the surface however, and you'll find an unimaginable place filled with strange, dangerous, and delicious creatures.
The Society of Dark Cuisine is an ancient and mysterious organization comprised of brave adventurers willing to explore the unexplored and to taste the untasted. With the help of the mystical Sootsoot, they seek out and capture strange monsters in order to farm their divine ingredients.
And what do they do with these ingredients? Cook, of course! Back up above, the Sootsoot sell delicious meals to surface dwellers, raking in as much profit as possible to further expand underground. The Society of Dark Cuisine has operated for centuries, yet no one knows exactly who they are or what their ultimate goal might actually be…

This our second time playing cause we couldnt let go of how good it was ().
Its a fun little game. We find the art style and dark humor very appealing. The gameplay loop is pretty simple, yet still enjoyable, but it crashes very frequently and will randomly log us out.
This is the best game because its completely free and its fun theres about a Bajillion monsters to collect and you can make up all these fun recipes.
Wow man, this is one of some real good games Ive ever played. Hope the dev team will update more versions in the future because Id love to explore some new areas with new cool monsters.

Ive been playing this game since we were 16 and 7 years later its the only mobile game we play. Theres so many different things to do. We will say however, ny biggest pet peeve is not being able to search for recipes or organize it according to ingredients. Being able to search for recipes rather than scroll through a giant list, or change it so you can search through set list recipes would be awesome, but we have no idea if this game is still getting updated so whatever. With or without that issue, 5 stars. Best game. 10/10.
Never have cared enough to write a review but this game ruined our sleep schedule. Its perfect it has everything 10/10. Devs, buy yourselves donuts or something.

We love love love this game. It would be 5 stars, if the game didnt log us out out of the blue. We lost all our progress and it wont allow us to access the phone log in to get logged back in.
We used to love this game,but now it wants us to sign in which its never asked us to do before and trying to figure out how to sign in has us just about ready to pull our hair out so please make the guest choice an actual guest account or add a Game Center choice because this is very aggravating!okay its been 4 YEARS and still no way to get in why do you want to know our passwords anyway.
We love to play this game when Im bored on our phone! The designs are so creative and adorable and we love exploring for new creatures. We hope to see more games like this in the future.
If you can just make more stuff and maybe possibly a second game we would definitely make it five stars.

It just hits different. The art is beautiful, the soundtrack all slaps, and the mechanics are just really fun to experiment and test with. Seriously, its just nice to play and jive to.
This game is very good you spend lots of time actually playing the game and not sitting around waiting for things to happen. There is so much to do in it and a lot of things to work towards. Its a game you can grind for a long time and feel rewarded after you do, but not Finnish it all in one night. Another amazing thing is that there are NO ADS. There are no forced ads like if click end exploration and it takes you to an ad it doesnt do that all ads are optional.
Ive been playing this game for a little while and we really like it, its unique, we like the art style it has going for it, its very punny and gets a lot of snickers out of us, but lets get to the main topic of this review. We have experienced a very annoying glitch, it refuses to let us check our friends list, no matter how many times we try to open it. Ive tried turning our tablet off then turning it back on but it still doesnt work, this only started occurring when we updated the game today. We would really appreciate if you fixed this glitch. Weirdest game Ive ever played but we absolutely love it and cant get enough.
Never again this is like our third time having to start this game over from scratch, when we switch to a different phone. Im so Ticked off its not even funny. It doesnt pull up the right account and when you try to link it to Facebook to try a recover your account,it doesnt work. The game reset all our chefs and friends who we took our time to level up each. It also reset all our level 14 pots. It also reset our hunts so we would have to do those all over again . We never leave reviews but this really hit a nerve for us.
Updated the game only to have it load the login page… Was in the middle of upgrading to level 49; very disappointing.
We were going into the game like normal and suddenly it gave us the login screen which we think only happens when you first get the game. So anyways we tried logging in through the phone login selection which is where we have all our progress and it froze we couldnt press anything other than our phone number and the code number tabs. We tried deleting and reinstalling the game and the same thing keeps on happening. We rlly love this game plz help us.
After the latest update, Im unable to use the phone login. And the app help link is broken.
This is our favorite game. We just got it today and we enjoy its so much because of the unique art style and the upbeat music in the background. We were looking for a game that was like monster legend but did not take as long to progress through. This is the game, it has the perfect balance of progression and difficulty all in one. We have only played 30 minutes and we have made multiple dishes and it is not that hard to get new and unique monsters. We really recommend this game.
You should add a location called space-time continuum rift where there is Dinos and other monsters and other catalysts and spices.

At first we didnt really get the game but the art grew on us and we came to find its a nice game to login once a day share some soy sauce and cook some food and make a little progress, very friendly for f2p. We wish friends would show the lifetime amount of shared and received soy sauce so we can better manage our friends.
We love this game, we really do, but it crashes ALL THE TIME. Check your friends list? Crash. Try and collect soy sauce? Crash. An egg has hatched and is ready to be opened? Crash. Switch between farm pages just a little too fast? Crash. Watch an ad to extend your explore time and or refuel while catching a monster? Crash hard and lose that monster; better hope there wasnt an egg involved because screw you, thats why. Decided to melt a dish without first closing the app completely to be safe? A crash for your foolishness and go back in time a smidge to before you did that, but lose your hard to earn spices anyway because, again, screw you. We have never, ever, played such an unstable game like this before and we dont know what to do. Ive tried every suggestion Ive come across and nothing seems to work. We havent seen a dev respond to comments on crashes so we dont believe theres any fix on the way (its been happening for ages on multiple devices, this is not a new issue). We will continue to play, but we cannot recommend this game to anyone in good conscience. Wouldnt want to be responsible for any rage induced incident caused by this game.
We really loved it but we lost all our progress when we switched phones and now it just force closes and wont run.
Our internet is pretty good but the game would crash after like 30s making it impossible to download all 28 update files to make it playable. Running the latest iOS btw. Fix it pls.
It took us months to get to the place we were at the The vehicles on our ranks are complete gone . Im not sure if it what is the new update or a flaw in the system but Ive lost months of progress.. Ive spent real money on this game and knowing we cant get back to where we were especially by how much we enjoyed the game is very disappointing … Its truly upsetting and hopefully someone reads this.

A few interesting mechanics, but where this game really shines is in the artwork. Everything looks truly interesting and watching each farms different way of harvesting is pretty fun.
We love this game, but its no longer accessible to us. When we open it, it just says cannot download save file. Its unplayable.
Very fun game, however as of recently its been telling us that our save data file is not being loaded. Does anyone know of a way we can contact app support.
Whats wrong with the game?? We cant even play it because its saying it has failed to save files. Im very disappointed because we absolutely love playing and we were getting so good, adding more monsters/ingredients, upgrading all our stuff and now we cant even get on anymore. Whats there not to love? This is your game, if you want to laugh your a## off, be captivated by amazing unique artwork, challenged to just before the point of desperation, and be unable to put it down.
We enjoyed this game a lot and played it every day to become the best monster manager of the world. Unfortanately, in the recent update, all our progress was lost and all our hard work had vanished. It took us awhile to get to the position of where we were. We do thank this game for the good times it gave us. But not everything lasts forever…. R.we.P. Monsterchef, you will be missed :(.
Im playing this game on iphone x and its pretty weird that we have part of the screen cropped because of iphone x design! We feel lost we cant check out our money amount and some other stuff.
This is a really fantastic game! We love the art & the cooking! We only wish we didnt have to connect to the internet to play, but this is def one of our favorite mobile games.
This game is one of our favorite games we have ever stumbled upon. The animation is cute and unique, as well as the gameplay! Ive never played a game quite like this before. It has so many different aspect to it that Ive easily played it everyday for the past 2-3 months and we absolutely love it.
We love the graphics, characters, creativity and stuff but there is just too much of it too do. Also heavily relying on time/coins. We feel like the coins doesnt stack up as much as we need. Like the creativity put in to it though.
We downloaded this game with our friend and it worked but how long can you play an app at school so the 2nd time we opened it, it loads then crashes and we havent gotten back on since.
It rather unpleasant watching a rabbit rip its own ears off or seeing a chicken be burned alive. Then there is the waiting. Wait for enough rabbit ears, wait for the stupid ears to cook, wait for the customer to buy the ears… Something like 10 freaking mins to get 3 coins… Next recipe is 250 coins to research and the research may fail.
Thank you so much for this game. We spend a lot of time in the hospital; playing this game not only keeps our mood lifted but also is a great distraction. We are lucky to have access to this game. Big thanks to the creators for this content. We couldnt have asked for a better game ourselves. Im so excited for the new update. A lot of creators abandon their games after a year or few, leaving players like us behind to wonder when and if the next update will come. Please dont give up on updating this game, Im sure Im not the only one who enjoys it.
Id really like to give this game a try, but when it gets to the main screen, it immediately crashes. Ill keep it for a few days and hopefully the problem gets fixed, because Id like to give it a good rating.
