This app is awesome! Really feels like youre in the Schmoedown with kristian and Mark commentating and the questions are a lot of fun! Great work schmoes!
We really like what is in this app, however, it could use some updates to add some more substance to to the overall experience. And we would like to play Intergeekdom but the only ways to unlock it are to pay or play online, and the online never works.
Game could be great if there werent some glitches. Sometimes the game gives the incorrect amount of points and during sudden death if we get the question right we lose, this needs to be fixed!
We love this app as its keeping us sane in quarantine. But we feel as if some of the questions have the wrong answers. For example. We type ET and its called wrong as we needed the entire title. Its really stressful to be about to win, but then lose due to a computer error. Mainly with the Oscar years too. We knew 1949 was Hamlet, but it told us it was All the Kings men, which was 1950.
Some answers are wrong with spelling but other than that its fun for the single player. Cant play with anyone online because we can never find an opponent.
Cool premise, lots of potential. Does the versus not work or are people just not playing?
We bought this as soon as it came out, we thought theyd eventually work out the bugs, but it has never let us play against online opponents.
We love the Movie Trivia Schmoedown and watch it weekly! This game gets the feeling right, but the mechanics are holding it back. Too many repeat questions, too many misrecognized words There should be multiple versions of an answer, for example: the answer to what blinds Daredevil is Toxic Waste, chemical spill should also be an acceptable. Lastly, sudden-death almost always never works correctly. This game has glimmers of replicating the show for home experience, but it ultimately fails. Potential is there though!
Have to wait hours to match with someone and when you do they leave when youre winning and you dont get a win for it. The questions and feel is just like the show but if you cant match its pointless.
If we could give it zero stars we would. We have never taken the time to review an app, however we felt it necessary for this one. You get 10 seconds to answer , that includes typing all of the answer and then confirming it twice, and if you somehow get to that point the the game will freeze.
You can get answers correct and it fails to count them. This app was fun for a few minutes, until it becomes frustrating that it wont count answers frequently. For example: How does Remmy control the chef in Ratatouille? We answered: Tugs on hair and got it wrong when the correct answer was Pulls on hair. Also the final round didnt accept several final answers that were correct and had been submitted. Also, this app would be better if the speaking feature worked. Please edit this app. We are big fans of Schmoedown and would like to play this game if it is fixed.
Hard to win the early rounds and does not score correctly.
Very addicting, still sad we lost the championship game . Especially with the recent update game will run smoother!
This app can be so fun at times, and unbearably frustrating at others. When you answer questions you know are right in sudden death, see the correct flash for a second before it goes to the AND YOUR WINNER screen, then see the other guys avatar show up; or when you only miss one of your second round questions which you selected multiple choice, but the pro you were up against still gets two points… Theres an issue. There are a lot of other little bugs too when it comes to autocorrecting answers and finding opponents/keeping opponents through full games, but when all is fixed, Im sure this app will be awesome!
We love the game but we cant ever play online. It just keeps searching for someone but never finds them.
Im hoping they are working on adding a lot more questions. Our husband and we have played this just a couple dozen times with friends and with each other. And we see a lot of repeat questions. Besides that it seems to work pretty well and has a good layout. The only other thing Id like is for in the third round for you to be able to choose numbers like in the actual game.
If a match goes into sudden death, the AI is usually granted the victory even if we get the right answer. Its annoying especially when you climb high up the ladder only to be out because of a bug. Edited: way too many answers are either too picky (what was Will Smiths job in ID; pilot/military pilot/Marine Pilot. Thats just as correct as fighter pilot) or are actually wrong (GotG vol2 opened to Groot dancing to Mr Blue Sky). We dont know who proofreads the questions but they should have their worked double checked.

Its just like watching the schmoedowns for Collider!! Even adding nicknames, strengths and weaknesses based on your gameplay. Love it!

Finally, we can jump into the ring with our contestants! Our dream come true. The game play is very good for an early app, and we are looking forward to more features.

As a fan of the Schmoedown and movie trivia in general, we have to admit maybe Im a little biased – but this app is amazing. This is everything we could want in a movie trivia app and so much more. We really like the interface and the way the rounds work. We havent ventured into the multiplayer yet but just the fact its there is incredible. Its so much fun and well worth the price.
A great app for a great show. Lots of fun being able to play, even if we’re not the best. But it’s very addictive once you start.

It’s fun. As a movie nerd we like the game show feel. We do hope some of the issues will be fixed in an update.
We’re so happy that this app is finally out. After watching the Schmoedown religiously it’s so much fun to be able to play against all of the competitors that we have come to know and love. There are a few minor flaws and things that are a little wonky but this is only version 1.0 and we know the Schmoes work very hard to put out a great product. These will be fixed and updates will be coming to add to the game as well, very exciting times indeed!
The versus doesnt find people in our area. Should expand the search to a much bigger area. The single player is amazing and is done so well!
This game is superb, very fun, simple gameplay, yet hard to ace. As seen in the Movie Trivia Schmoedown on Collider Video’s Youtube Channel, this game have everything from style, humor, and tough mind-cracking movie trivia. The 3 available formats thus far is great and enjoyable, able to play single player and rise to the top, play multiplayer with a friend, or play a random opponent worldwide! This game have it all. The only downfall is the repetitive question, but that is understandable as it is still very new. Overall great! Love to see how this app can improve and grow! SCHMOEDOWN!

Love the app but dont exactly understand the rankings. Im 6-2 but the top 4 in the world league standings are 4-4,4-12,7-18,0-3. How exactly are these rankings working?
It feels like you are there. Also, using the mic to answer questions is awesome. It’s forgiving in how we pronounce things, which is great since we have "JTE syndrome."
This app is great! If you like movies and don’t have this thing, you’re missing out on something special.
We love the Schmoedown, we love the schmoes. Only way it could be better is if RB3 was on it lol. Honestly, its a great movie trivia game and you can see the work that was put into it and seeing what they do for fans is absolutely amazing. While Im on the opposite side of the country, we feel like we get to really be a part of it. Well worth the money and Ill continue to be a loyal viewer. The Schmoes & Collider crews are true treasures.

This is by far the best movie trivia app and completely accurate and great representation of the Movie Trivia Schmoedown. The Mortal Kombat style tower climbing mode is a great addition to an already great presentation. Schmoes Know and Collider have got something really great here.
We loved the show ever since we started when it got to collider. This app makes you feel like you are there! We’ve played about 5 matches and enjoyed every aspect. Its fun and tests your knowledge. We give it a thumbs up and a smiley face!
