Community Insight:
Fantastic game. We love how it works and how some of the harder levels make you think and plan ahead. That said we do not like how little you earn per level. Getting to the 100-200 coin unlocks is painful when you only get 2 per level completed. Should make it balance out a bit more, even if it means more ads (like every 3 levels).
Update 12/1/2021 – Thank you developers for continuing to make this game amazing. The new UI and sounds are amazing. Keep up the great work! The latest updates with new daily puzzles without numbers was EXACTLY what we were hoping for. We love this app and play this game every day to unwind from work. Thank you devs! Please keep up the great work.
Great game dont mind paying for coins but is now unplayable. Everytime we open the app some random audio of a girl crying over music blasts through our speakers and will not stop. It remains over the the puzzles the menus the credits, everything.
Like the title says, it's a good, entertaining game. We appreciate that most ads are silenced by default (seriously, can't thank you enough!) However, as other people have pointed out, the pay structure IS annoying. Makes no sense that you can finish every single puzzle in a pack, and not have enough stars to unlock the next one. Other than that, no complaints here. EDIT: we just downloaded the game on our iPad, and found out that our account progress does not transfer over. So, all the packs we've already unlocked and completed mean nothing. Definitely a big issue EDIT #2: it Has been a few days, so we're not sure when exactly it happened, but it seems that the truth two devices have synced up and now our progress reflects as it should on both devices. Thanks so much to the developer for reaching out.
When we first started plying this game we thought it was going to be boring but it wasnt. After passing so many levels we started to grow on this game. It is a great way to exercise your brain. Or it can be good for doing puzzles if you like doing puzzles. We love this game.
Ive been playing for several months. Most days we just do the daily packs which take a total of maybe 15-20 minutes, which is about how much time we like to spend on this sort of activity – there are plenty of better things for us to be doing! We like to see how fast we can do the simpler games (many times under 15 seconds for 6×6) and then Ill enjoy a tougher one thats more than 10 minutes. You can rack up points on the easy games and buy yourself a bunch of hard games. We like that Im still learning the methods. Our only complaint is that recently there are days when new packs arent delivered, but Ive got so many points saved that it hasnt been a problem. If youre having to pay, or do more than occasionally pretend to watch a short video, then youre playing too much! Read a book or go practice the clarinet.
This game is great and a lot of fun. The big downside is the ads. We know that ads are necessary. We get it. But 1) the ads appear cut off on our iPad. 2) you need to watch all the ads and play the game at a moderate to slow pace not to have to pay to unlock the levels. 3) often times, the same ad plays for the entire block of levels. 4) there are ads by Playrix all over the place that are misleading ads.
Maybe we're just hungry for compelling new puzzle games, but we are loving this game. It's a very basic premise–place 1 tent next to each tree, with each tent separated by at least 1 full square–but the puzzles can be tricky… Anyway, we're a fan.
We like the game very much, but the rewards system doesn't make sense. You should grant more coins the harder the difficulty. Or a bonus for finishing a pack. Or more coins with no hints.
Minimal ads for hours of brain fun. Its just challenging enough to keep us coming back to solve our daily puzzles. It kills time while hopefully sharpening by brain. Thanks for the fun.
We LOVE this game but we can never play for as long as we would like because we run out of coins. If there was a paid version of this app we would buy it, but we will not buy coins to unlock small packs at a time.
We love this game. It is a great puzzle game with various levels from easy to quite challenging. We do see quite a few negative reviews about the pay structure and at least a couple of those reviews make us thing people are not aware that there are free daily puzzles so just in case folks missed it – there is the main screen, then there is the screen of puzzles in packs of 20 that you have to buy, but if you click on that right hand arrow on that page you get to the daily puzzles. One set of six is free every day, you can play 4 more free puzzles if you are willing to watch two ads and then there are two packs you would have to spend 40 coins each to play. You have access to today and yesterdays puzzles each day. Hopefully that helps folks out who may not have noticed those daily puzzles. Finally the game is not perfect, we do have a couple small gripes. The ads dont show up properly we can only see a portion of them on our screen (and we are playing on a large screen iPad so You wouldnt think we would have a problem). This can make it hard to tell when the ad is over, and if you click away from the ad before it is over you dont get your 2 coin bonus. Additionally if you watch enough of those ads after you finish levels it will start to say that there is no video available, it is clear to us that they are capping the coins we can accumulate each day. Although it seems an odd way to do it, arent your advertisers paying you when we watch the ads? Also There is one button (a question mark) that will give you clues or tell you if you have any cells wrong. We would love if they could separate these functions into 2 buttons, because sometime, especially with the bigger puzzles we just want to make sure we havent messed up so far, so tell us if we have made an error, but if everything is good then we dont want any clues we just want to keep going. But overall fun and challenging puzzles.
Simple concept, yet challenging. Fun and definitely addicting.
How can you play the game if you have to pay to play every level? So stupid.
Great game – simple and fun and challenging, but by the time you get to 9×9 you still only get 2 points per board but need 100 points to unlock next grouping. You can only get 40 by playing the board, so theyre making you either buy next points or literally wait days while remembering to trigger the extra stars button. Its deeply annoying. Id rather pay a fee for the game and get no ads and/or higher point earnings each board. Even re-upping lives so that you can play after a few hours – like all the other games.
We absolutely love this game and played it for years on our old Samsung. Recently got an iPhone and we realized it stops audio coming from any other app when we open it. Sure we can resume whatever music or audio Im listening to in the background once we enter the app, but it would be much simpler if this app just didnt interfere with background audio… We dont have this issue with any other games.
Ive has this game for a while and we really like it. But when we do the daily puzzles the two packs you can get from watching videos say that there is no video. Ive deleted the app and redownloaded it and we still have the same problem. Our progress gets saved and we dont know if thats why but there is no way to fix it that we can see, so if you could reach out to us or update it so it loads it would make the game a lot better.
We love the game, however, we would strongly suggest re-examining your pay-for-play structure as it is a bit frustrating in its current state.
The pay structure is terrible. You have to constantly check every 6 hours to add coins so you can unlock the next level. Thats bad enough. Now that isnt even an option, game says theres no internet even though it is happily playing ads. How dumb do you think we are? Will be uninstalling. Would have happily just paid for the game up front. Finishing using this approach will cost about $30.
Fairly fun – makes you stop and think. Great for puzzle people.
Absolutely loving the game (Im on 17×17) but we just wanted to let you know youve got a pretty big bug. If you get a phone call while playing it will erase anything on the grid that you havent saved.
No ads unless you want them. No loud intrusive difficult to close deceptive ads. Im happy to pay when we really dont want to wait the minuscule amount of time to the next free coin moment. Game is excellent. Sound and visuals are perfect.
This game is challenging and keeps us thinking. Definitely an intents game.
We really enjoy this game! We have it on our iPad and our Galaxy phone. It works great on both! We find it challenging our mind and filling in free time. Our only complaint….we are almost through all the levels on both our iPad and phone and will be disappointed when there is no more to play.
Excellent new twist on Picross. Satisfying puzzle game with good aesthetics and controls. Ads are unobtrusive.
The only reason its four stars instead of five is that its impossible to earn enough within the game itself to progress to new levels after you play a few of the game packs. The game itself is great. If you like Sudoku then youll like this.
We like the game.. Actually Im addicted. So much so that we just purchased more coins to play more levels. However, now that Ive done this the app keeps crashing every time we try to open it. Any fixes to this PLEASE.
Great game but the coin system is unnecessarily complicated. Allow ads or pay to remove them.
The game itself is excellent, almost like a combination of sudoku and minesweeper and its wonderfully addicting. That said, the star system for unlocking packs is a little stupid. You eventually get to a point where even if you beat every level in the preceding pack, you either have to buy stars to unlock the next pack or check in every 6 hours for a couple of days until you get enough free stars to unlock the pack. Then you play for half an hour and youre out of levels again. We get it, you want to make money off the game. So just do 15 second ads after each level with a pay option of $1.99 or whatever. Like literally every other game available. Its great, Id pay it. But the current progression model is just plain dumb and for that it loses a star.
This app was overall pretty fun to play. The graphics and UI are fantastic, and the gameplay itself works great. If we had to improve some things it would be that the tool tips always show up when you have an incorrect row, and 0 is not automatically filled. Otherwise solid game.
Our only gripe with it right now is the pop ups that thrust themselves on screen when your solution to the puzzle is wrong. Can we please implement some kind of setting to turn those off? They very annoying and frustrate us because we can see the solution is wrong. Let us figure out what we need to do without having the rules flash in our face all the time. Coin system is fine because its a free game and you gotta make money somehow.
Love the logical mechanics of the game. Its challenging and fun. But the game is ridiculously expensive if you dont want to be constantly watching ads. Even if you do watch ads, you still cant earn enough coins to unlock all the levels. This is an extremely simple game, but Id still be happy to just pay $3 to unlock all the levels from the beginning. To buy enough coins to do that, youd have to spend upwards of $30-$40. Yikes! And no thanks. When our coins run out, Ill stop playing.
You should be able to buy the app, earn enough coins on prior level to get to next level or do the daily challenges to unlock next level. The nickel and dime approach is a shame. Once we are out of coins we will delete app. It is too bad, because logic game is great.
We'd be happy to pay for this game, but the silly coin system creates a paywall that leaves the user frustrated.
Very difficult to play for long without having to pay. There will be no games available to play unless you either pay or wait 12 or more hours.
We're not upset that a developer wants to get paid for their work. We're baffled they seem so clueless as to how to do that. We'd be more than happy to view an ad after every puzzle or to just pay $1 or $2 outright. But they give just enough of the game away that we're satisfied with abandoning it once we hit the paywall. Their pay structure is nonsensical. Why are there coins at all? Just give away the levels you do for free and then sell packages of later, more difficult levels for $1/piece or something. It's like a programmer and artist designed a beautiful game, then handed it to their boss who ruined the consumer experience with a pay-to-play system that is utter nonsense. You make your users feel like they've been swindled with such an odd, unclear coin system, so many just turn away. And that's what we will be doing.
Pay structure has pushed us to uninstall the game. The game is fun and very addictive. It reminds us of minesweeper. But to wait 6 hours to gain 10 coins so that we can move up to the next level is the worst set up we have seen. Especially if there are other viable options that could have been utilized.
Spent the money to continue playing but now the app will not open for longer than a second.
As others have stated we foolishly tried to buy coins for the app and once we did the app stopped working…this is unacceptable.
We absolutely loved this game, so much where we bought coins with money. The moment we did our app froze/glitches and would not open. We even deleted the app from our phone and re uploaded it and it still will not work on our phone. This is incredibly upsetting.
Fun game, and we get it that games cost to develop but this game just nickel and dimes you if you want to keep playing. No thanks.
Neat game, but it stopped loading once we made an in-game purchase, which went through. We tried deleting and reinstalling, restarting our iPad, even emailed the developer a movie of it crushing… This was weeks ago, still no response. Disappointing. The game was fun, but no way to play. Be careful making purchases in this game.
Great game, but when are developers going to figure out that we want to listen to our music, not your sound effects! This game shuts off your audio, and if you try to restart it from the control center, the game crashes. Oh, the coins thing isnt a big deal thoughyou get free dailies you can do to earn free coins, plus a free bonus every six hours.
Like others have said, this is a great game, nicely polished and fun to play. We really enjoyed learning a new type of logic puzzle. Ive been playing it for several days and loving it. However, Ill be uninstalling now that Ive hit a brick wall with the coins. Id be willing to spend a few dollars to own this game but Im not going to be nickel and dimed to death just to play. Even with the reduced prices for the coin packages, it isnt worth it.
If this game sold for $4.99 and we could play all the puzzles Id buy it in a second. We would probably even spend $9.99. And thats saying a lot considering we would likely play through the puzzles in a week. Instead Ive played through a quarter of the packs and Im out of coins after a couple of days. Even the daily puzzle packs cost coins. Every puzzle solved gets you 2 coins. We could watch one video for two coins. Or wait 6 hours and get 10 coins for free. Or we could buy coins. Over and over and over. Even the most expensive pack ($19.99) wouldnt be enough. Or we could just delete the app. Its a shame because its a unique and well designed logic puzzle game. Really great and engaging. But spending over $30 for it isnt worth it. So let us know when you create a paid version of the app and Ill gladly buy it.
Fun game and well implemented. We would have paid a few bucks for a complete version. Im not going to continually buy coins.
Play this game if you like nonograms UwU.
Fun and just challenging enough! The ads come at a reasonable frequency.
Havent seen this puzzle type in ages so when we saw an ad decided to give it a try. After three puzzle packs, we think its goodnice gradual escalation in difficulty, clean and clear interface, not a superabundance of adsFor the puzzle type we think its just right and imagine it will stay on our phone for quite a while.
This is a great game and we havent seen much like it. But to unlock extra levels involves coins, and the amount of coins you get for winning levels doesnt add up to enough to progress. They really need to look at the ratio / scale.
