Recent improvements include:
This update includes improvements to better suit the needs of traders and sellers. You can now detect and filter for cards with spare or missing copies in your collection. Combined with extra syntax, you can make powerful smart lists to better see what's for trade and what you're missing.
Here are the changes:
- The collection tracker is now visible on cards in your collection. Enable "Show Overlays in Collection" in the in-app settings.
- The collection tracker now highlights spare cards in your collection. For example, if you have 2 total copies of a card across your decks and more than two copies of that card in your collection.
- New syntax to filter cards in your collection with extra copies or missing copies: has:spare and has:missing.
- New syntax to filter specific spare/missing amounts: spare=4 and missing=2.
- New spare and missing toggles in the advanced filter form.
- When deleting a deck, the app now asks if you want to subtract matching cards from your collection by each card's amounts.
- When multi-selecting cards inside a deck, you can now choose to subtract matching cards from your collection by each card's amounts.
- The count above search results is now tappable and shows the sum of all non-foil and foil prices.
- LE Extended CSV has new columns: Type, Total Non-foil in Decks, Total Foil in Decks.
- UI improvements to better support Liquid Glass.

Its a great app! The only issue we have is that some of our cards dont match the price. Namely our foil SLD cards. Our Deadpool SLD shows $0 for the foils. Every single one.
Before, we had to look up prices of the cards, and we could not even get to the set lists! Now, with this app, we can look at prices of cards AND sets.
Scanner works great but catalog is incomplete. Some cards dont show all sets. Example Vampire Hexmage from Conspiracy. The conspiracy set is not an option. Please update to include all sets.
This is a wonderful app, that is full of features. We just finished adding our whole card collection of 10,000+ cards. It has helped in new deck building and finding forgotten cards in our collection. There have been a few bugs a long the way. The great thing is this apps developer is quick to respond to any issues. At this time all our previous issues have been resolved. If you have been looking for a powerhouse app to track your cards this is it.
We cant express how much better this app is than any other TCG collector card apps out there. Awesome job.

After our first review the developer Orlando reached out to us and asked how, where and why the app was buggy. We told him exactly everything. We updated the app and honestly its night and day to how it used to be just only a week ago. Everything is faster and smoother by a mile. Legitimately a better overall experience. Its still a touch laggy on our iPad but Im chalking that up to it being a previous generation model. On our iPhone 15. Its perfect. Just perfect. The new mana value suggestion bar is also a really cool feature. We just wanted to say the care and pride that is being shown is immaculate. We truly appreciate you. Thank you.
The application works pretty well and it is quite complete and the multiple options to create decks and organize cards and scan them is really good, however the performance of the application make work hard and annoying, the lag and input issues when trying to look up cards or trying to load a vast library makes it a bit annoying, we would like to suggest a cash system that will help expedite this process and improve responsiveness.
Everything looks great, performs great. Only two things lack are: 1. Wish List doesnt work. Cant pull up each individual card. 2. A one time payment plus level. Only two options are monthly and yearly. Some kind of one time payment for more like spelltable matches, access to more functions, we think would add a lot of value.
This app is user friendly and visually great. You have no limit on cards you can add to your collection. This is definitely our preferred MTG app for tracking our collection, decks, and our wishlist.
This app has been awesome for scanning and organizing our cards. Nice to know what they are worth too.
Good app for tracking our collection, but we have one issue with the scan feature. It will occasionally automatically add a card to our collection even when we have auto scan turned off. This can cause issues with knowing whether we already have a copy of that card or not in our collection.
Stoked to have found something this full-featured and am happy to support it.

We like the integration with Scryfall search syntax. However, the card database does not get downloaded so it literally has to reach out to Scryfall to do a search. This causes lag on the keyboard since it actively searches as you type. We type fast, so we frequently have to wait a second for the app to catch up when doing searches. Very frustrating. The discover tab is neat but we didnt find ourselves using it much. Its also just too many clicks to add a card to a deck. Search the card, click the deckbox icon, click the deck of choice, select the board, then select foil/nonfoil. Itd be nice if the plus button could add a card to the most recent deck instead of add to collection. Would make building decks on mobile much faster.
Was really happy to see the Vision Pro version on day one! This is a really great implementation of the desktop/iOS versions. Kudos to the developer.
Developer is super responsive and the app is better than all the others we tried. Love how simple the interface is and isnt loaded down with adware like some of the other apps! Thanks for a great app and thanks for the quick responses to questions.
We really like this app but there has been numerous times that we have had to quit the app on our macbook and restart the program due to it not working. We also have it on our ipad and when we go to assign a card to a deck it keeps glitching and doesnt let us assign the card to the deck without numerous attemps. We would give this app 5 stars if these glitches were fixed but its very annoying.
We spend quite a bit of time in the MTG space with a lot of interaction with developers of apps and websites related to Magic. This is one of the best apps that we've used, and probably the best scanner that we've encountered. We have used many scanners and this is the only one that we've had success with consistently and accurately scanning funky SLD cards. The owner and developer is very receptive to feedback, active daily on Discord, and noticeably passionate about the project. The price is fair and absolutely worth the cost of what…a small black coffee once per month? Easy decision for us. We highly recommend this app.
This app is a top-notch MTG app. The interface makes it our favorite app for managing our collection and building decks. It's super slick, has a great deck builder, is a delightful experience. The scanner on iPhone synchronizes to the Mac so it's easy to digitize our collection. Our fave MTG app, hands down.
IPhone version is superb and the mac version is just as good. No scanner on the mac but the sync is fast so we can scan on our phone and automatically see our cards everywhere.
Im really impressed with this app. The design is intuitive and visually appealing and foil effect is really cool! We think the customer service is the best Ive ever experienced too. Highly recommended.

All the rest are "Designed for iPad". This app feels right at home on the mac. And with iCloud sync, we scan on our iPhone and the cards sync seamlessly.
Im really impressed with how this app has grown. The advanced filtering and tagging are really good features to help us manage our collection.
We started looking for a new app after we had been using stopped updating new sets in a timely fashion and responding to customer inquiries or tech support. There are a lot of deck builders on the market now, and free ones on the web, but we wanted one that could also manage our collection. With Lions Eye we hit the jackpot! Scanning cards on our iPhone is a breeze! We prefer typing the cards into the Search option on our Mac though, just more room on our desk for cards. With the lightning fast search it previews all the different possible card names as you type, and when you select the right one it brings up all the cards printed with that name, with the ones you own on top. As you easily add a card you can select foil or not, and the image changes for easy viewing! If you click on any of the cards it drills down into the details of the card you can see pretty much everything about it. Creating decks is a breeze too. We make them through Search too actually, its just a click, or long press, to either create, add or remove a card from a deck. The only deck related thing to cant do from Search and have to go to the Deck section for is to Name it, set the Format and assign an icon if you want. The ability to gather information about your collection at a glance is incredible. Theres basic graphical information right in the Collection, but you can also dial in on specific collection information in the Categories section. Lastly, Orlando, the developer, is incredibly responsive. We think hes actually an AI sometimes because it seems like he never sleeps! The Discord he set up for the app allows users to request features, report bugs (nothings perfect) and just give each other tips. In a way Im glad that other app left us hanging, because Lions Eye is a great app and we are sad it didnt exist sooner.
Loved the app and the card scan experience. Happy to pay the appropriately priced subscription. Really useful app. This is how apps should be….do one thing and one thing well and charge reasonably for it. Kudos to the dev.
Overall, the best "multiplatform" solution we've found so far, but would love better integration with Moxfield and MTGA.
We love LOVE being able to have a record of our cards on here the frustrating part is how slow it is to add your collection via the scan function. Unless you pay for the subscription you have to go through several extra steps which is stupid. But otherwise so far we like the app.
And we cant find a email. So we were curious the camera aspect seldom works and if it does wont pull up the correct version of cards. Do you not have the original collections that came out in the database? Its been 45 minutes it worked three times and one it thought was a blue and not a black.
Saw a recommendation on Reddit, the old app we used was having issues being consistent with updates. This seems to be pretty on top of things and so far is great! Just marking a 4 out of 5 as it would be nice to just have a full permanent upgrade purchase rather than a subscription. We would use this for years so something like $15 now would be a good deal to us, but forgetting about a yearly subscription would be upsetting.

Ive waited a long time for a Magic app like this. It looks great and provides all the creature comforts Ive come to expect with a good app. The fact that it works on all our Apple devices is such a home run that we cant even believe it. AMAZING job by the developer and we hope they keep adding more amazing features. Youve made a lifelong subscriber.
We love this app so much, unfortunately it wont let us add a card to our collection after scanning it. It is unclear whether or not we need the subscription in order to do this. When we scan a card the add button is grey and cant be clicked. We would love to know how we can fix this. Easy 5 stars if the add button worked.
We bought this after a friend raved about using it. We tried to upload a deck at first, laying all the cards out flat with good lighting then attempting to use the mass scanning feature and it would constantly not scan or identify the wrong card. We then tried our binder and the same thing happened.. We eventually got about half of our deck uploaded and went to look at some stats about our collection and was disappointed with not being able to sort collections by price or view some other basic metrics about our collection.

Great app, easy to use and when we had an issue support was quick to help us fix it! Finally have an app that will help us track our collection. Our only real complaint is that it can get a bit laggy at times.
If you collect and or play MTG you need this app. Finally an app that we actually enjoy using! The interface is so simple and clean and not over crowded with extra fluff that gets in the way. We also love seeing our cards all in one place when building decks and having the ability to show our whole collection to friends all from our phone. The scanner also works like a champ. Im updating our review, completely satisfied. The dev really listens or can read minds. Our initial hope for deck building to improve is fully realized and this is the crowning app for magic card management. Thanks dev! Old: After trying every free option, this is the paid saving grace. The UI is clean and simple while packing huge functionality. The scanner is VERY easy to use and the tactile response it gives when you scan a card is rewarding and informational. The deck building is clunky but it makes up for that by having MTG Arena import support over the clipboard. This is a fantastic app! Our entire collection will soon be imported thanks to this intuitive development.
This app is very organized and easy to use. You can tell the maker loves and uses these cards because of the way it is designed. The user experience is very pleasant and makes our life much easier in navigating our card collection. Highly recommend.
This is by far the most clean and simple app out there. Definitely easier to use than all the other apps out there. Greatness at any cost.
This app is amazing at tracking an keeping tabs on your magic cards. The only downside Is there is no what to put your cards into decks. Theyre just sorted in one big pile. While we highly recommend this app for those who trade, leisurely collect and are starting we dont recommend it for people who have multiple decks.
We love the scanner on this app, by far it works the best of any that Ive tried. That said, it will still occasionally just not be able to pick up some cards (usually black ones for some reason) which can be a little frustrating but overall very easy to use. We do have some feedback that we hope future versions can incorporate. The scanner appears to put a great deal of stress on our iPhone 12 Pro Max, the phone gets very warm when scanning lots of cards and occasionally the app will just crash in the middle of a big scanning bunch and delete our recent progress which is annoying. There is a weird bug when adding cards from your collection to a deck, it will forget if you added a foil or regular card so you need to manually change all your decks foils to indicate that, also for some reason in a deck it will show the price of a regular and a foil added together until you refresh the card. Some card versions such as the new etched foils are not shown as being different from regular foils, and also old bordered foils from the recent MH2 set are bugged and their prices are 0.00. From a layout perspective there is a lot of good going on but we would like more condensed options like a true list format with no images. Even the smaller list with small icons only lets us see like 3 cards at a time. We would also like a more robust method of tracking our collection on a per set basis. Being able to see what cards Im missing from a given set, what percentage Ive collected etc. Would be helpful. Lastly we dont think the Discover pane adds much to the experience currently. We dont need the app to tell us about new cards coming out and the remainder of it is just fluff. Current deck metas imported from goldfish or EDHREC or even recent price movements a la mtgstocks would be a better use of that space in our opinion. Overall though, great app and worth the few bucks to us to pay for a good scanner but it needs some more work to be our main deck collection resource.
This review is specifically for the iPad version of this app. Recently download the iPad version of the app cannot open the app at all crashes every time we try to open it. IPhone version is fantastic love the app great organization but the iPad version needs to be fixed its unusable at this point.
