We loved this game! We have replayed it and replayed it! Are you coming out with new episodes or seasons? We wold love to see this game continue on.
The game is fun. If youre looking at getting it, go for it. You wont be unhappy with this game. If youre looking for good graphics or accessibility, you wont find it here. The game is dark, its hard to see certain corners of the playable space. The graphics are okay, but it would be nice to be able to have a graphics slider to make them better or lower depending on your preference. If you need the text in-game to be read to you (Text To Speech) you wont get that. Theres no text to speech, color changes for colorblind people, etc. Seriously, the only things in the settings/options menu are language, workspace extensions (helps you deduce things), tips, notifications, SFX volume, and music volume. It would be nice to see an expansion to the options to make the game a bit more accessible for everyone.
We dont write reviews but for this game we am. This game is phenomenal! We are currently going to college to become a detective and this game is like no other crime game. First thing we want to get out there is that if you dont like dialogue or games that have a considerable amount of conversations than this game isnt for you, leave it for the crime buffs. If you are interested in crime you would know that in an investigation you have to take statements and do interviews, this game does incorporate evidence and it does a great job at doing so. Another thing, we love that this game has the infamous line tethering that connects evidence and information! This game will make you think long and hard but once you get that substantial link, it becomes addicting because you want to get another and another. Hats off to the team on this game! The creators, developers, and the rest of you all should feel proud and we are excited for you all to release more seasons.
Wish we could pitch in myself to help s2 come out faster, it feels like there’s been hardly any new content since we first played two years ago… Masterful storyline and narrative about corruption and morality that we hope will be explored more in upcoming seasons!
Loved the game. Love even more the main role is a Black Woman. Loved how interactive it was and really made us think. Mysteries were interesting and Im mad we finished the game, we need more. Had to use the hints several times, mysteries were difficult as mysteries should be. Definitely want more than 8 episodes. Loved even more the game was free and was able to play all the way without any ads and features that you would need to pay to unlock. Definitely loved the game and need more. Lost track of time playing.
Im looking forward to more episodes. Its waaay better than that Jenny Leclue game which we found to be tedious at best. Also, we didnt have any issues with the controls or anything like that but we play on an iPad which is best imo. Looking forward to seeing more!

We couldnt stop playing this game once we started. Nothing like the other murder/detective games. We wasnt crazy about having to get everything perfect in order to get an A, but as the game goes on you get better. PLEASE MAKE 10 MORE SEASONS OF THIS GAME, we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!

This game was great! Very addictive and just long enough. They had complex characters and we actually felt like we were solving crime through the deduction boards. When is season 2???

Hey there, Im a long time fan of the game and have played this game since the arcade function came out and was a very early supporter. We even wrote an early review about the game So recently we noticed that the phone version of the game looks different than the one on other platforms, whats going on here and we also do feel like the game hasnt changed much and we expected it to be more organized and clearer. But hey you just gotta deal with it, also we believe that you could add more lifestyle or even side quests to the game to help improve the otherwise pretty linear gameplay or just something to check out once youre done with the base game since not much content has come out since about say 1-2 years ago. Otherwise awesome work and would like to see more in the game soon.
Im 15 and we want to be a homicide detective when we grow up. We’ve tried to find so many murder mystery games but most of them just show pictures and you have to find the hidden items. With this app, theres a web where you connect the clues, you talk to witnesses, suspects, and bystanders. You search for little pieces of information (evidence) around really cool and realistic crime scenes (its evident that the artists put a lot of work into the details. Great job guys ;) ). AND, you get graded on how well you did depending on if you used hints and stuff. Not to mention, you can later go back and redo crime scenes for better grades. Im currently working on trying to get all As. We are literally SO GLAD we found this app and we 100% recommended it to anyone who loves true crime. WARNING: its seriously addicting. :))
Good story line and interesting setup. Only negative is that on the board where you link clues to move forward the dialogue pops up at the top so often it’s actually in the way a lot of the time.
Love this game and have played it since it was released on Apple Arcade. Did not realize they changed some of the dialogue and clues in recent updates but it has given the game a deeper storyline. However, one thing to nitpick is that Im unable to get an achievement for unlocking all of the outfits because there is a glitch in the game where we cannot switch outfits on the male MC. We have contacted the developer through their email but no response yet! Cant wait for more episodes!
We enjoyed playing this game a lot. One thing is we wish that when Im looking over the evidence and thinking of possible connections that the little try re-organizing/connecting/talk to people notification would stop popping up. We know to do all that and honestly after the first scene its not helpful just obnoxious. Also, whens the next part coming out?! Im ready to catch the next baddie!
Fast game, we played through within the day. Great for a trip or something. We wish there were more seasons! The only con is probably what the nature of the game is, you can come to the same deduction that was intended but by connecting different pieces. So you need to think about ALL the different ways you can come to one deduction and the games easy after that.

We really like this game. Great graphics and the storylines are great. Controls are easy plus the achievements are nice. Only issue we have currently have is with the outfit unlocks. It says for the experienced outfit for Cass that you need an A+ in episodes 1-4. We have that and we still dont have her outfit in the locker. Fix that, 5 stars from us.
We played this game obsessively and completed the season, now we have to wait for the next! Our only complaint is the pop up suggestion on the connecting evidence screen.
Really enjoyed this game! We love putting our amateur deductive skills to work. Initially, o was frustrated with not knowing when Id made enough connections but the recent update made it easier to know when youve completed a scene and when you should keep looking. Great for fans of escape games, the Nancy drew computer games and mystery novels. Hope they come out with more episodes soon!
We feel like this is a great concept for a murder mystery game, but at the same time, the execution was poor enough to be annoying. For starters, the point/click/drag items around the deduction board is really difficult to control. Half the time, the screen doesnt recognize what Im touching, and if we pull a line and dont point it just right, it wont connect to the intended target. What really bothers us though, is having to make deductions fit exactly right to advance the game. Its not just connect the clue to this person, its connect the clue to this persons other clue that may or may not make any sense. For example, you cant just drag murder weapon to Bob to unlock the next item of dialogue, you have to connect murder weapon to Bob lying? To get it right. We spend more time just randomly trying to connect clues together to advance the story than solving the case itself. Not to mention, you literally cant advance the story with incorrect deductions, so eventually youll just end up with the right answer whether you guess randomly or use a hint. Overall, its an enjoyable game, but we think it is just so linear theres no way to fail unless you just give up. Eventually, if you have 100 choices, youre going to find the 1 you need to advance since there is no penalty or movement for guessing incorrectly, so youll be forced into the correct choices.
This is one of our favorite apple arcade games. We think the storylines are interesting and the setup is fun. However, its been almost a year since the last update and Im starting to wonder if its worth keeping this game downloaded at all. Its such a hidden gem but we fear that apple arcade is just going to forget about it.
We loved this game until we found out there were only 8 levels or episodes as the game refers to them as. They said 2 years ago they were working on more episodes. We finished the game in two days. Now it will be deleted.
We really enjoyed the first season but have been waiting so long for season and im starting to get bored of waiting.
The concept seemed fun and interesting, but the gameplay is too frustrating. If you are in a scene and for some reason you dont finish it and the app refreshes, you have to start it all over again. All the connections youve made and evidence youve gathered disappears. And you have to play through all the conversations again. We think we played through a scene 4 times before we tapped out on this game. It should be better at saving your progress.
The Arabic language is not understood in the game.
Def an addictive and entertaining game with a good story and amazing graphics. We were in suspense! Some really dubious moral choices too. However the interface where you look at all the evidence gets annoying sometimes when 1) help tips appear and you have to wait until they go away to see the top and 2) if theres a ton of evidence its hard to know which is being highlighted as a hint might be better to draw a line between the two hint items and 3) sometimes evidence will appear in random corners far away from the central area and you have to zoom way way out to see it why. Not to mention ACAB!! F12 forever ever ever. No good cops.
As mentioned by others, the pace is slow with glitchy controls. We dont need to watch the character walk or read the same character opening or closing phrase 8 times. What frustrates us the most is you have to make connections, but often they either dont make sense or you make a connection that seems to make sense but it isnt helpful or correct. So you make logical choices and then nothing happens until you make the right connection which seems to make less sense. So then you just start connecting things randomly to try to move ahead or use a cheat. Maybe Im missing something but it is super frustrating at times.
Tried numerous times to download gets half way and then stops.. Perhaps its a warning that game isnt going to operate properly!!!
Fun game. Great concept. Poorly executed. If you stop in the middle of a scene, it does not save your progress and you basically start the scene over. Very frustrating.
This game is such a disappointing missed opportunity. It has all the conceptual elements of being an awesome game, but it is completely destroyed by the poor design of the evidence mapping function. Like sometimes it tells you if deductions are correct, but other times it doesnt? And sometimes the nodes are redundant enough that you should really have combined them. Otherwise connecting the dots is just an obnoxious game of guess what the developer happened to be thinking you should connect when there are other connections that seem like they should be just as valid. Reducing the number of nodes and being consistent about providing right/wrong feedback would have gone a long way. We overuse the hint feature just to get through it.
We got the game we believe in November 2021. There has yet to be any new episodes. Also sometimes the walking is slow and hard to click on different areas.
We were near the end of a case and had to switch to a different app, when we went back the app restarted and we were back in the office with no progress saved. Really unrealistic to expect players to stay on a case from beginning to end.
Cannot be seen or read, the deduction aspect of this game is ridiculous, how about more real interaction and less trying to read the developers mind.
When will the next season come out.
We’ve enjoyed this game so much, while Ill admit it did take us a few trial and error episodes to fully understand how to do well in the game, the story was so addicting. We’ve been checking daily for like 3 months now for Season 2 and we hope its still coming!! Some of the other reviewers made us feel they arent giving the game the focus that it meant to require we love that about this game it isnt just mindless swiping of match sets and colors its actually using problem solving skills and reading to figure out who your suspects are and once again we LOVE IT! To the creators well done.. When we think Murder mystery game this is what we think of.

This Game Is AWESOME AND JUST PAY ATTENTION TO EVERY SCENE IT ALWAYS TIES INTO ANOTHER AND WHEN IS THERE GOING TO BE A SEASON 2.
We thought this was a really cool story and an innovative way to navigate through the game. We almost always needed hints but thats ok! We couldnt put it down!
We really like the game. The premise is great, the story is good. The difference between an A rating and A+ rating is quite tedious, and requires a bit of a stretch at times. We do wish new episodes were added more frequently. We do wish the achievements werent hidden. Short of blindly tapping everywhere, which we decline to do, Im unsure what they all could be. Im curious, but not THAT curious. BUG? We dont know if this is a bug, but Im having an issue with the new outfits. Nates default outfit was the Junior outfit. We put him in the Cadet outfit, now Im unable to put him back in the Junior outfit. With other greyed out outfits it says what it takes to unlock them. However, Nates Junior outfit is just greyed out with no explanation or path to unlocking. Not a game breaker.
