Add Guilds! -Guild chat -Guild ranks -pvp Guild wars, big map 10v10 compatible at least. AND add a peaceful mode where you can hangout with friends and just chat. ALSO maybe some mini games? And NEW CHARACTERS is a must. Like this review if you agree and comment to add more folks!
We first realized it in mosquito of a dead man level 43, you start out with way to little, the AIs are way to aggressive and start out with way to much and the capture point has to much population so plz fix but, other than that the game is really fun you should let there be a mode that lets you deploy your hero.
Dont buy the pass because the last episode has been coming soon for years, and its probably never coming out.
After quitting a game it slowly fades out instead of immediately taking you out of the game, makes for a much slower more frustrating death we guess, but super annoying.
This is the only review we’ve ever written anywhere. Played for years now. Used to be an amazing game, now its almost impossible to win without paying. Also when is Mushroom Trek coming?
If your looking for a fun but fair game do not get this game unless you plan on dumping a boat load of money into it. It used to be a good game but then the developers got greedy and implemented a pay to win strategy. You can download this game tomorrow and just pay money and have five times the attack then someone playing for years. Literally dont waste your time, the developers are trashy and money hungry, so dont get this game.

Honestly one of the funnest games we’ve ever played, super addictive and you dont have to check it every day.. Play as much or as little as you want! We’ve played clash of clans for years and it honestly has nothing on this game. Understanding strategy and knowing player powers is key to winning a lot in the game. THE INE THING THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY IS WHEN YOU GO TO OPEN A CHEST YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS YOU CAN PAY 35 gems to open it or watch a video to take an hour off the timer, butttttt they SWITCH so we’ve accidentally spent like 250 gems on accident because of it and its the one thing we wish they would fix! Also would be nice to get better chests more often, without spending money still a really really fun game but it will take us forever to unlock all characters and upgrade them all the way. The people who spend money just demolish you half the time and youll know who pays for stuff and who doesnt. All in all great game we used to play the demo version with our cousin on the ps3 before school like 10 years ago and its such a great remake and way easier to play it on the phone.
This game is fun and all, but the shield power is way too overpowered. At least make the cool down longer to use it.
Just make a flat fee and let people play by skill. For a simple strategy it has a ridiculously complicated and endless upgrade tree that forces you to buy silly chest of gems and gold to upgrade on said ridiculously upgrade tree. Keep it simple devs. This is dumb and a waste of time.
If you want a fun game at the begging and win about 75% of the games you play you will love this game until you hit about a few days in. After the first few days you will be matched with players that either have no life to get their rank and hold up, or with players who pay to achieve victory not a good long term game idea! Its on the same level as those games you download on an impulse because your bored except for the fact that it is a cool game ran by people who are to greedy and do the pay to win concept!
The first campaign is free but then the money most parents dont want their child to spend money on games we all want to see season 2 and 3 but cant because most of the time parents say no like ours besides spend your money on something unlike this this game is for the money free download and 1 season free but if you want to complete the whole game we hope you have a 10$ apple itunes gift card.
Multiplayer gaming is very disadvantaged and unless you are paying to play. You get cross matched with people higher ranked than you are nine out of 10 times. Game is fun if you want to play single player but multiplayer mode is a waste of time unless you have extra money to spare. If they could fix this issue we would rank this game higher until then a two star rating is fair.
Really great game but we swear you have to watch so many ads to play the game its not funny. Why not just charge for the game!!
Loved this game until the cauldron move was introduced. Seems like everyone we play plays with that character and as soon as they use that move we know the game is over. There is nothing we can do to win. Its essentially cheating since you cant defend yourself against the attack at all and then you cant anticipate when it is uncapped until its too late and the other player has already sent troops to take over the village. Its lame.
This game is fun but they rape your wallet. And if you dont spend money, youre getting raped on the battlefield. Maybe lower the prices guys geez. If you enjoy feeling like a loser. Download this game. No matter how much money you spend youre gonna get raped. They should just change the name to rape. We actually hate this game so much we will NEVER download a Zillion Whales game again.
This game would be cool if you didnt have to spend absurd amounts of money to do anything.
The star system sounds great on paper but its broken. If your enemy has 1 more star than you then you can easily lose the game. Connection issues also occur at times while playing the game. And skills sometimes dont work.
Its free but you only get a handful of levels then you have to pay for the full version. Sike deleted ASAP.
Fun in theory and a few games a day. But you used energy in matches and then they want laid. Maybe win 2/10 matches if you arent paying/cheating to win. Not worth the time.
Why can’t we play without buying episodes?
Absolutely ruined with pay to win. If you pay monthly you get powers to use against opponents online. Makes it no fun when you lose because somebody is paying to win.
After latest update it wont finish loading just keeps restarting.

This is a defensive game. The morale boost is over powered and gives the first successful defender and almost insurmountable advantage in the game. Some characters have a set of skills that are straight up unbeatable for other characters. This game will frustrate you. You will also be bombarded by in game purchases offers. One after every single match you play. Its incredibly annoying. Especially since you have to buy the game. Had a response saying that sometimes players get matched against better players. OR FIX YOUR GAME! Morale IS a broken concept. Its unbelievable how a player can double their damage, defenses, and move speed by defending an attack successfully. If you have a bad engagement its basically impossible to come back from. Fix your game or stop charging money for this crap. Morale is the most useless and ridiculous aspect of this game. There are many characters with different abilities. You dont have to add god mode on top of it. The game isnt about strategy at all. Its about who can wait until the other attacks first. Youll literally sit in game for 5 min waiting for someone to make a move. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Used to love this game, but who wins is determined solely by who has bought the most in app buffs. Enjoy fighting opponents that have higher damage, defense, and production constantly. Good strategy is rendered useless. They should have a better matchmaking system to put players on par with each other so it isnt a constant curb stomp.
The original Mushroom Wars was one of the best mobile games ever, and one of the few that wasnt a microtransaction nightmare. We paid for premium on the original abd was happy to support the developpers in doing so, because the game was focused on the game, not on baiting you into microtransactions. This game, on the other hand, is a pathetic disgrace. While fun, in the end it is just a factory that produces micro-transaction bait. If skills were universally available, it would be okaybut they arent. You can use your skills a limited number of times before you have to spend whichever of the many in-game currencies it is to make them available again. You are also matched with more advanced players using characters you havent unlocked yet (so you havent developped a stratefy foe how to defend against their skills yet) when its most likely to lead you to making a micro-transaction. Its not that it isnt possible to win and have fun without paying, its that every single aspect of this game is carefully orchestrated to temp you to pay.
As someone who refused to get wrecked by whales in arena, we spent 13.99$ and purchased 3 campaigns. We got stuck just a quarter way into the first campaign. The enemy spawn with 180 population occupying 3 buildings we spawn with 60 population, and the enemy went straight at us, there is no no buffer like a neutral turret on the map, the level design is simply irritating. So you found yourself a sweet deal, buying a shiny new hero, and guess what? You can only use designated hero in campaign, jokes on you! You bought something that can only be used in arena! This is the first time we request a refund for any app. The fact that you keep paying for things you dont get to use is ridiculous.

Read the reviews. Been playing this game over a year and it was once an awesome game. Then greed took over and its a grind to unlock basic modes of the game.
Apparently the opponent can instantly take 5 buildings he wasnt even close to? Cool. Apparently there is cheaters, which is better than pay2win but still a problem, updated to 3 stars.

If you spent money on this game for a golden name and unlimited hero powers- just know that deep down you are a loser. Never forget that.
It starts out sort of fun but then the gotcha mechanic comes into play. You will quickly come up against opponents that have double or triple your stats and makes it near impossible to win a match unless youre willing to play a lot of money. Money doesnt speed up the process it is the only process.
We could enjoy this game if the tutorial werent so efffing infuriating.

We absolutely love playing this game and losing all the time no matter how much we best our opponent because they spend insane amounts of money on a mobile game, then get spammed with 10+ billboards in game a day for deals on bundles. Absolute god tier game.
We’ve been a big fan of MW since the first app came out and for a while we loved this one too. But not its impossible to win against people online if they pay the subscription. They have a ton of power up and everything that you dont have. So in the middle of playing they can slash your numbers or take over multiple mushrooms with a touch of a button. We use to win every couple games now we leave as soon as they start using power ups. No point. If you want to play single player mode you have to pay after a certain number is completed which is crazy since you do the same thing on every episode. You also have to wait to open chest and we find it impossible to get the red rubies. All over feels like we’ve come to a dead end. The subscription is no-weekly which is ridiculous. We would be much more interested if they changed it to pay for the app instead of subscription. Maybe subscription could pay for some bonus content that doesnt make online game play so unfair. One thing we enjoy is there isnt random ads.
Its not pay to play its pay to stand a chance. When you play against someone whos dropping 5 skills to your 0 per game, your obviously going to lose. Gameplay is fun, but terribly unbalanced unless you spend money.
We were a huge fan and player since over 4 years ago. Lately this game has become a way to milk money out of competitive players. The developers destroyed the game with there greed for money when they could’ve just kept it how it was and the fan base would slowly grow.
We’ve played this franchise for years and loved the game. However, multiplayer is unplayable without watching ads or spending money for a premium subscription. This is horrendous. We purchased the game flat-out. In order to use each Heros ability (and be competitive), you spend blue gems, which (you guessed it) you cant acquire in any reasonable way. We refuse to pour more money into this game for basic functionality. Add-one are one thing, this game costs extra money just for its most basic features.
If you want to spend $100s on a game just to be competitive then this is a great game. If you dont have or want to spend money then expect to lose 90% of the time.
When we want to play custom we have to get 1300 or 1700 ratings to play the other modes the people we play with quit the game because of this please make it for 400 or 300 ratings they used to pay a lot of money and they will still pay and play if you lower the amount of ratings for custom matches.
We’ve been playing MW games since they came out in the PS3 in 2009. We used to love them and am quite good. We have paid quite a bit into the games over the years cuz we appreciated the development. At first it was just to buy more flames, which we didnt have to do often cuz we won so much, but we like to support the developers. But a few years ago, it became more than just pay for plays or little things here and there. It is literally pay to be good, which, fine, Ill do that a little but this, along with the algorithm putting us against level 5s when Im a 3 (and yet we still win quite often), is so freaking frustrating. Its no fun when they have an autoadvantage because they put more money into it sooner than you could. We have finally deleted this game for the last time and going to find another developer to support. You guys had a great thing going, but got greedy and didnt reward the people who put good money into the game when it wasnt enough…
