Our hero, Max, may be just a 2D sprite, but he can leap into the third dimension by jetting between the background and the foreground playfields with his trusty jetpack in this unique dimensionally-woven experience.

The game is very very fun with hours of play time,pretty difficult,cool bonus levels and good controls all around the game is great and you should buy (it’s worth it)
We will echo our old TA acquaintance (SumoSplash here) syntheticvoid’s sentiment, in that this is a top shelf precision platformer, worth whatever the asking price is at any given time. The game is so good that waiting two years for it to be fixed is a transgression already forgiven. Premium app with an IAP unlock for extra levels–EXACTLY what the AppStore needs more of… In mass quantities. A request… The d-pad and the buttons are very hard to reach on an iPad Air 2. It would be great if the player could customize their location. Thanks.
This game is amazing in the gameplay! We have had tons of fun so far. However, if you want an easy game, we wouldn’t go with this one, it is harder than Dark Souls!

This has to be the best platformer in the App Store. We’re a huge fan of platformers, and the App Store does have some good ones, but this has to be our favorite. We were initially drawn to the game because of the retro style but we kept coming back for the gameplay. The levels range from easy in the beginning level to brutally difficult if you are able to fully complete the game and reach the cga levels. If you are looking to waste hours of your life in a frustrated rage, we could not recommend a better game.
This game is fanatic in every way. Tight controls, difficult yet fair platforming, brilliant enemy placement, beautiful Metroidvania feel, and an amazing soundtrack. This game is a must own for any gamer who enjoys platformers.
Im getting close to the end of the game but now its too hard.
WOOHOO!!! Thank you for the VERY quick fix for the issues that came up in the last update. This is a FANTASTIC platformer – and for those who are saying that it’s unfair that you have to buy more levels and listing off prices for the game – it was LAUNCHED AT 99 CENTS – then went FREE about 2 months later – then back to 99 CENTS for another month. It’s gone FREE at least one more time since then… It didn’t go up to $9 until a FULL YEAR after it was released. You still have the FULL game if you don’t buy the new levels – because they were never included in the original game that you played when you were ‘a kid’. Just because you played a game in the past and have an iPhone now doesn’t mean you’re entitled to free anything.
Please update this game is no longer functioning correctly no gameplay.
The game is great, but the onscreen controls are lacking.
PLEASE ADD CONTROLLER COMPATABILITY it’s a great games keeps us entertained but plz plz PLZ! Add blue tooth controller COMPATABILITY.
All we see is a black screen we cant play the game.
Downloaded it was excited to play it and the screen is black you can here it and push the screen and it sounds like something is going on we just cant see anything black screen only.
We would love to rate this game higher than we gave it but we would like for the game to work for us first. Is there something that we can do to fix this? Is there going to be a patch that would work with our phone?
But you only have three hearts before you have to start over. You should be able to get a power up or something to give you some hearts during each level. Otherwise it doesn’t make us want to continue playing. Look at Mario, if we have a small Mario we can eat a mushroom and he’ll be a big Mario and if we touch an enemy we’ll go back to being smaller but we can always get another mushroom. Not sure why this game doesn’t have it.

Game wont start, just a black screen.
Worked fine on our old phone, but trying to redownload it now on our XS we can hear the audio but just get a black screen? A fix would be much appreciated :(

Using latest version of iOS 14.6 on iPhone 12 and when opening the app its just black screen.
When we try to launch the game we can head the music but the screen goes black so we cant play. We would like help with this.

We have the iPhone XS Max and we cant play the game. Not sure if its a big or not. We remembered playing this game as a kid on our Nintendo 3Ds and it was amazing which is why we wanted to purchase it again. Please fix.
Poor game mechanics Cheap kills To difficult to be fun.
The controls are amazingly accurate for a virtual joypad. We loved it so much we even finished all the grannie levels.
The developers finally updated the game to work with iOS 8 & 9. Great game with cool graphics.

We love this game, since we play it in our Nintendo DS now we watch it and we install it but it crash after the mini movie… Please solve it.
After the cut scene, the game just lags out to the home screen, what a ripoff that we had to spend 5$ on a game we played when we were little.
Pay 5 dollars for a game that crashes in 3 seconds. We think not money back now.
We thought this update was supposed to fix a crash but there is still a crash for older devices.

When this game was first released, it cost $9, NINE DOLLARS! Now you want us to pay $2 for something that the 3DS and Wii U got for free? Not acceptable.

This is the best platformer we’ve played since the 90s. That said, how the eff do we get to level 5? We’ve beaten all levels, yet we can’t seem to find the access point to reach level 5.
This game is amazing! We absolutely love everything about it. It’s a great time killer and perfect for when you’re bored and need something to do. Can’t wait for more levels!!

Excellent side scroller, with 3 distance ranges. It’s one of those games that keeps you coming back. Feels a lot like Kirby’s Dreamland. Absolutely love this game so far. This isn’t a game you buy and every level’s the same, this is a fun strategy game with different levels different worlds, a lots of secret stages that keep you wondering of their whereabouts or how to get to them. D pad may be a bit small for some as the arrows are very close together, but are manageable to control.
Great job! We have played this game before on the 3DS and we wanted to get it on our iPad and it was better than we expected. Please make more games like this and at the same price.
