We have been bowling our whole life, and we found this to be a fun game. The only issue we have is that a lot of the time the ball doesn’t register our throw, we end up trying to throw the ball by swiping over and over and over then when it does it is after frustration and the ball doesnt go where you want it because you are just trying to get it to work.
Fun game to start. Then, as you start to want to progress up the skill ladder, you find that you cannot beat their computer-generated players unless you can deliver a 200-plus score every time. Discouraging…
Pretty terrible when you start to bowling the professionals. If you pay attention, the strikes and spares occur in the same frames. There are only two or three games the pro’s roll with the only difference is the number of pins on the first ball on spares. You already know within a few pins what the pro’s score will be after the 2nd frame. Also, the CPU has never missed a 4-10 split. Picked up 100% of the time. Last comment; what is up with a 2, 7, 9, 10 leave or a 3, 7, 8, 10 leave?
Nice graphics but hard to beat the CPU opponents. Even tho we get 3-4 strikes a game (sometimes even more)I still lose. 4 out of 5 spares involve a 7-10 split. Haven’t gotten a 7-10 split yet. CPU player never gets a 7-10. And picks up every spare there is. Can’t compete with that. We’re at a two star level trying to play a three star. We don’t see myself advancing further. Now…… Our golf 3D we have that mastered.
It’s fun for about a minute. Then it’s boring. It needs big updates.

We have enjoyed this game very much. We like that is has both league and tournament play and tracks your status from amateur to pro. The record feature is pretty cool as well. The reason why we rated this a 4 is two reasons: 1. The ball freezes from time to time and does not allow us to throw it. We have to exit the game and go back in for the it to work. Does not happen often. 2. No landscape 3. Paid for no advertising and we still get screens advertising their games. Finally, the ball physics are excellent a well as having various spin options. One has to have patience to get used to throwing the ball hard and knowing how to place the right spin, but once you get it down, you will have a lot of fun.

Did update.. Now can’t play against computer as before.. If we wanted to play with people we knew we would go to a bowling ally.. Try not try to improve game by deleting options.. Idiots!!! Now we are deleting your dumb game.
Has a few minor hiccups with the program, but overall, its a lot fun.

First of all, it is a fun game. But it has some issues that need to be fixed. Things like pins standing on an angle, ghost pins where the ball goes through the pin without knocking it down, CPUs can pick up any split with the pins but it’s rare for players to pick up some of the easiest splits. Other issues are when players start advancing, it like the pins are glued to the lanes, can rarely throw strikes even though it’s the same shots a player has used before, the opponents are almost impossible to beat, we’re surprised the game has a legendary level since it seems unlikely anyone would make it that far, we’ve removed the game several times because of the glitches.
We love this app. Best bowling app there is to us. Only thing we don’t like is how we can’t play with our friends online. Please make this possible ASAP!!!! Once this happens we would give it 10 STARS!!!!
If you look closely at the ball you chose (it has to be one with no design; solid color), you can see an outline of a man in the ball, if you look closer you will see a face, even after you push the ball the face is still there. We have no idea if it’s your reflection, but like we said, it’s there even after you push the ball. Please remove this or at least make it less creepy.
Awesome game and best of its kind for graphics, realism, and playability… But can we please have an option to play others ONLINE!?
The game is pretty fun and addicting. It has issues though. For one, when you accidentally click on an ad and try to go back to the game, the game freezes. We did this once and when the game unfroze the opponent had no pins for the rest of the game. So buggy. The bowling mechanics are brutal. There is no carry through the pins. Hooks are useless. Throwing a dead straight ball is the most effective which is boring. And the pins will freeze on a 45 degree angle frequently. One game we had the 7 pin standing and the 10 pin in the gutter but it was leaning against the sides. The game counted it as an 8 and setup a 7-10 split. And there are an inordinate amount of splits in this game. You get splits when it should not be physically possible to get one. A lot of bug work is needed to make his game better.
This game is pretty good our main problem is ball control our ball only goes one way no matter how we try to aim it it only goes to pen 10.
Bowling for real is quicker. No way to save hook value. Too many steps for each shot. Should use the gyro for hook. Lame.
This game is very frustrating because whenever we flicked the ball it wouldn’t go so it took a long time to make the ball go and the ball wouldn’t go the way we wanted it to go. Please improve this game! It is fun but very frustrating.
We have bought the Victory ball etc. But when the charge shows up its for more money at least $10 more. We talked to apple and they refunded our monies but then the tournaments and the Jackpot games went away. We know this was intentional as we were allowed the other day to play then it was gone again. If we purchase the special packs then we should only be charged for the purchase we accepted and agreed too not adding additional VIP packages to our bill. We are very sadden that the programmers never responded to our complaints but were quick to block us from the challenges that keep us playing. We have started to let people when just too get our millions down so we can delete this game. We also noticed how we do not get the better version even after updating the game. So very sad a game tips you off!
We used to like this app, but somehow someone changed it. We noticed it’s harder to push the ball for the first time. We might delete this app if it continues to do it. Still needs some work. It’s harder to push the ball.
It is just plan bad we can not play it because it won’t let us throw the ball if you want to actually play the game then don’t get this!
So we were about to bowl a perfect game and all of a sudden the ball goes straight through the head pin and a couple other pins! We never got close to another perfect game again. So we deleted the game because it did the same thing a few more times. Don’t get it!
But this game needs help it’s very bad & crashy, too hard to control & I’d also listen to us when we say to fix it cuz other reviews say it’s bad too. UPDATE IS NEEEDED :(

The game use to be fun. We started on the practice. Then we went to multi people and the person you would go against would get always a strike or a spare. Their ball will go toward the side then it would curve and make a strike.
Who wrote this game – it’s beyond horrible! Nothing is consistent. Nothing! It’s free for a reason.

It didn’t work a waste of time and storage.
Much harder to push the ball especially if trying to pick a spare of the seven or ten pin.
We used to play everyday sometimes for hours as it was so fun and addicting. Then some genius’ decided to change it and made what used to be our fave app, now a deleted app.
After the update, we played this app and it froze up in the middle of a game. We had to quit and we removed it. Hope they address the freezing problems because we otherwise like the way the game plays and it’s a great bargain.

Downloaded bowled 1 frame. Froze. Started a new one. Froze in middle. Don’t bother wasting your time it won’t work.
Whoever "redesigned" our favorite game should be ashamed. It’s no improvement at all. Bring back the prior version!! Pitiful.
This was the perfect bowling game until the recent update. We played this game several times a day and enjoyed that we could play as a single player and keep up with our stats. It was a great stress reliever for us at the end of a crazy work day. Since the update we cannot figure out how to play alone and the graphics are horrible. Please put it back the way it was!! We’ll be looking for a Nother bowing out until this one is corrected. We appreciate that it is a free game but why fix what isn’t broken?

This used to be a great game. We haven’t played in a couple of months and now it’s different. We can’t play games by myself, the alley is totally different and we can’t figure out how to work the thing anymore. Bummer.

We used to play this game everyday. Since the update we never do. We don’t want to waste time watching an opponent. Graphics has gone down hill.
