Community Insight:

Love these games this is a really good one.

Very entertaining makes time pass quickly.

Playing for the third time. It may be a little older but it holds up and still is a favorite.

It took a little while to get us intrigued. The longer we played the more we enjoyed the game. Look forward to a sequel. Thanks.

We are really enjoying this game. It is a little bit different, the puzzles are interesting, and the storyline makes sense (not always the case with these games). We have experienced none of the glitches that others have complained about. Not sure if it is because of the age of their devices. In any case, though, so far we've had no trouble whatsoever. We would like to express one pet peeve about reviews. As a former developer, it distresses us when someone gives an app a one star rating when they are not actually reviewing the app but rather wanting to ask a question. That really doesn't seem fair. Just our two cents.

Not your usual game. Your daughter is kidnapped by a long dead body snatching witch. Collect cats in every scene, and rabbits, post cards. Background scenes have quirky features when tapped. Excellent transporting map, great artwork (although they should slow the characters breathing down they look like they are hyperventilating). Original storyline and tons of fun to play.

We love Domini games, its like they never read the handbook for making a HOPA, so they are different in many ways from other developers. The mini games were stupid easy, although creative. We especially liked the hidden stars in clouds game at the beginning. This game was apparently made a while ago, before Domini started giving the option of easy or hard for the mini games. Still an entertaining game. The touchscreen mechanics were a bit off, sometimes had to tap more than once, which is annoying. We did not receive the achievement for finding 3 objects in 3 seconds, if that was for the hos, then it didnt register correctly. If it meant just in gameplay, then thats silly, the flow of the game determines how quickly items are found. We loved the little rabbits you collect, good and bad ones based loosely on the 7 deadly sins. Also kitties to find in every scene, which gives you a match 3 to play. There is also a quiz on the achievements page, dont miss it, its not obvious. Overall a good game, but deducted a star for touchscreen mechanics and missing achievement.

The game started with a lot of potential and its pretty good. It seemed too short. The free trail was very short. It would be nice to be able to go back and look for missing collectibles after finishing a game. The graphics were good and we like different types of HOPS. Glad we got it on sale.

We liked this one. We like the many puzzles peppered throughout the game. The graphics were great and we liked the story line where you had to find jewels for the crystal ball in order to go back and forth between worlds. We subtracted a point because there were a few times when we had to click repeatedly in order to choose or pick up an object.

Not our review yet! Darling Opinion, what do you mean about Churchill Downs? Do they now own BigFish, because it seems like we are not getting the quantity/quality we used to get, although Sable Maze was gorgeous! Did you really say do a little meth, lol!? Yet Dracyy as usual rated this 5 stars so we need some sort of consensus. We hope some other Dream Team Elite members play so we can get a better feeling for what's going on and maybe talk to some higher-ups at BigFish! We need EIPIX and Mad Head in the worst way! We cannot review this game yet because we had to delete it due to a tiny little glitch, losing an inventory item (a locomotive, anybody, sound familiar) as if by magic. So we are reinstalling the game and hopefully we will be able to complete it and give you all a thorough review like you deserve. But make no mistake about it! We are royally irate! Finally able to play. This company, Domini, with whom we're not familiar, did an update quickly and we were able to reinstall and play and finish the game. It was a decent game. It was quite lengthy and also had a decently long bonus adventure. The update fixed the tap sensitivity issues to a large degree. The graphics were good, the cut-scenes were interesting, and there were many locations to unlock because you visit them in the normal world as well as the twilight world. There was a non-spoiler hint system and strategy guide. To travel between the worlds you must find crystals for a magic orb which acts as a portal between the two worlds. You also get a magic box, and as you remove curses from the townspeople you receive magical objects to use as you progress through the game. So those two things alone made the game interesting and different. Inventory was labeled, and there were plus items, which we love. On the negative side, lots of collectibles (cats, bunnies and postcards) which were just a distraction. There was an excellent teleport map with active tasks, which you definitely needed, so no useless running around. The HO scenes were very varied, so many different things, such as lists, using an object to unlock another, putting things into a scene, finding pairs and some other unusual ones too. There were a ton of puzzles and mini-games. Some were simplistic and boring, others were fun, and some made no sense even with instructions. But there were many and we tried not to skip them! Even the rotational ones, because eventually you improve at even things you don't like and you give your brain a decent workout! There was a lot to do in this game, like removing the cursed spells and making potions. We cannot in all fairness rate this at 5 stars because we had to reinstall it and start over. In addition, loading was not instantaneous between locations. But all in all it was a good game and a bit different and fun. And not a rodent in sight to spoil it! So we would definitely like a sequel if they gave us instantaneous load time and no glitches. Dream Team Elite, you really should play. This was a bit different from the norm and it was not overly dreary! Lynxie sends.

Good map with teleport. Nice graphics. Boring games with "iffy" directions. Find the shape HO scenes. Foolish "find the word in the sentence" HO scenes. Locate the cats in the locations. Yawn. Complete the items with the plus sign, we.e. Complete the puzzle. Do a little math. That's it. Boring. Free game over in mere minutes. Waste of time and money. We SO miss the old BF, where the games were coming quickly, were great and yet, cheaper. Churchill Downs has ruined a great gaming company.

This game was bad. We found another game in this genre called LOST LANDS 2 by a slightly new developer and it was out of this world amazing! You get what you pay for! Long game and ingenious story! Must try it! The free play was so long we started to wonder if bought it and didn't remember. When this game thoroughly disappoints please do yourself a huge favor and try LOST LANDS BY BN-5 games for a refreshing addition to this genre! You will not be disappointed.

Good storyline but glitchy on our older iPad. In fact, the game icon disappeared after the recent update and now we can't find it to delete it. We've been opening through the AppStore. Throughout there were some funky games that didn't quite work, like the hidden room above the astronaut's suit. Also, though we found all of the cats and played the match 3, the screen only blacked out and nothing happened at the end.

Skip buttons not working hope you can fix this Seems to be a good game.

Silly story and very juvenile speaking mode.

Hints didnt work properly, not really worth the money for once. Normally domini works flawlessly.

Even with excellent interactive Hint and Skip buttons, the gameplay is boring. Typical HOGs and puzzles. We purchased this game for $4.99 because the demo was very short.

Too short, too easy, too boring. Good teleporting map, fair hints, some puzzles need better instructions.

Normally like their games … This is a poorly programmed piece of trash. Half the the time you touch the pieces and nothing happens. Who ever developed this game should go back to coding school.

Too old to run well on iPad. Herky jerky in many places. But even if new its marginally entertaining and badly paced. Later titles from this developer are better but this one stands out as particularly under done.

All we get it that creepy, little goblin on the loading page.

There is a flaw that doesn't let you continue or finish the game. We've tried twice and we've played these games for many years and seen everything.

Short trial with uninspiring mini-games, eons of loading time between scenes (so don't accidentally move around), more eons waiting for your magic box to open, horrible dialogue and disturbingly rendered characters. Especially the hotel manager's weirdly heaving bosoms. What the heck??? Will not be purchasing full version. Yech!! Big Fish has had great games in the past. Recently, they've been pretty disappointing. What's going on??? We'll be replaying some of our "oldies but goodies" BF games instead.

They will try to resell this game to you. Avoid them.

Purchased and initially thought that this would be a nice long good game. Too short of trial and multiple problems with the game. Too frustrating to even try to get through the problems. Will be requesting refund – Total Disappointment! KdBoots.

You know a game is likely not worth it if it takes longer to shift scenes than to complete a puzzle (and we timed ourselves). Plus, who here would hunt around for a nutcracker if s/he had a fancy ol' magic hammer? Unfortunately, the game is too simple, lacked music, and even quit the semi-entertaining interactions of background objects–ending up with a poor rendition of a fable more interested in teaching a "moral" lesson between virtues and vices with bunnies. Give us a hammer to crack a walnut any day of the week.

This is a great game and a little different than the usual. The HOGs are varied and maps and hints are excellent. There was difficulty with touch sensitivity in some areas, but that was a minor problem. Overall, well worth the price.

Unfortunately this game, at least in trial portion was way too simple. If we were 12 perhaps we would love it but puzzles and inventory were way to simple for older users. We were able get through the trial in no more than 15 minutes, so we suspect it is a pretty short game too.

We're giving two stars because it is just barely playable. Navigation is sluggish and can trigger multiple loading screens. Hot spots are temperamental. Animation is very grainy and poor. We could go on and on. Complete lack of polish. The demo seems to work ok but the further you progress through the game the buggier it gets. Seems like the game wasn't tested very well past a certain point. Get some QA.

The free preview is short and not engaging. With a sale price of $4.99 there is just no way. Based on the preview we might even have to think twice at $1.99. We didn't have any glitches, but we wasn't pulled in by the story or having any fun. Mediocre graphic, decent map, so-so hogs…. We might have been able to justify the slow loading scenes if there was something to look forward to once we got there. It just wasn't for us.

What a truly disappointing game. No challenge what-so-ever Download it if you want but we guarantee you it's not worth your time. Unless you 10 years old or younger.

We could not rate this game, only played 5 min.
