Community Insight:
We love Elephant games. Im only just into the game and so far its living up to the purchase price.
We eagerly await MysteryTrackers. Im a sucker for Elf and the toad. Wish theyd give them more to do like in a few of the games. These games are consistently entertaining and Im having a great time. Some of the games we just play because Big Fish released them and pretty much just wait for them to be over. Not Mystery Trackers.
Above average game. Interesting story and great artwork. Puzzles are not too easy. The game is worth the money.
We are impressed by the creativity of this game. The designers did a great job. 1) a storyline that flows well 2) much to do in the way of hidden objects and mini games 3) Elf is extremely useful in this game… He did things we hadn't thought he could do at first 4) well-reasoned answers to problems that need to be solved – a lot of fun in challenge mode 5) the collectables are both hilarious and adorable 6) a lot of morphing objects to find, but we never learned how many there were or how well we did in finding them all – we guess we missed the mark because we didn't receive the biggest morph achievement – but again, we did play on challenge mode 7) music was actually a bit different from most games – fun to listen to in several scenes – we usually turn the music off, but left it on with this game our only cons are that some of the mini games were repetitive and too simple and that the bonus chapter involved spirit hunting – at least there were no evil symbols to deal with Bonus chapters are rarely the best part of a game, this one included All in all, a well-thought out game. Highly recommend the main portion.
Im glad we didnt pay full price, it was a very short game. But very fun! Good challenges.
14 15 16 Top line 5 2 1 8 Mid. 6. 4. 8. 18 Bot. 3. 9. 7. 19 This combination is also correct. Just not the answer you wanted.
Too much running back and forth; an interesting game but Im not sure what the deal is with the people hiding??? We like the HOPs and morphings. The mini games, not so much.
Love the game. Most Bigfish Adventures are fun. This one does not get you needing to backtrack over long distances <3 and the storyline caught our attention early on. Love it. Thank You! Havent noticed if achievements are available. Hope they are. Only issue we encountered was a need to hit skip mid story when one guy (after using bomb, to keep it vague) is talking if you select handcuffs during. If you dont see handcuffs, dont click anywhere. Lol. We dont recall if we saw handcuffs, we saw an area of interest and just tapped as he spoke. He got quiet, caption disappeared and big handcuffs appeared, no interactions but skip would work.
We have always liked the Mystery Trackers games. There were a few of the games that made no sense to us at all though.
We enjoy the Mystery Trackers series. We're looking for something not too challenging yet entertaining while we're also keeping an eye on the TV. We haven't gotten too far into this game, but love the premise – the kidnapping, how to get the victim back, the villain – and, of course, Elf. We'll have to see as the game progresses how interesting it actually is.
Great graphics and scenes. Some sequences seem confusing and some figures which are clearly " morphing" do not respond to a touch.
Good story, but the scenery was too dark, the puzzles too easy, and using the little friend was a cope out. We also wasnt a fan of the scanner as it seemed arbitrary and kind of a time waster. We play at a harder custom setting so Im not judging this from stage one. Also the characters faces look like they had been transposed onto bodies. They didnt fit an all had a dark line around the face circle. Bad programming or what we dont know. Overall there are better hidden object games available through BigFish.
This game is quite a bit of fun but we prefer games like this on our computer.
Way to many objects to find. Morphing, photo pieces, statues, instruments. Seems easy enough to play as far as difficulty, not challenging. Story line run of the mill. All around a game to bide time with we guess. (2015) game so back then probably was A-Ok.
We like Elf, and found the game cute, but quite short. We also have gotten used to games that allow you to go back to collect things you miss, and this one does not allow that. We enjoyed the archives, taking a trip down memory lane by doing some puzzles from previous Mystery Trackers games.
This has a large variety of activities and puzzle. The problem, for us, is that some are too simple while others are beyond comprehension. The multiple puzzle is annoying. We followed the shapes and placed them correctly according to the image, and nothing happened. Skip. Another puzzle had us pushing in rocks that were NOT clearly defined. We couldn't figure out which rocks we were supposed to push on. And what was with all the people hiding in the scenes? Anyway. Not for us.
There were issues with several of the mini games not working. We would do what it wanted/said and nothing would happen or it would tell us we were wrong when we clearly wasnt. This happened with multiple games: the wire number/addition game, the very last game, a couple of the games around the motion sensor, etc. It was annoying every time it happened.
Had to move to menu when the game would get stuck. Example in theater we had the wrench in our inventory and tried several times to use the wrench on the floor near the seat and it would not let us until we kind of refreshed it by going to menu page. Why would we buy this when it does even work on a simple task.
Repetitive, predictable. Def wish we didn't waste our money. Even if it only cost $1.99 – $2.99 like the big fish games used to cost, it still wouldn't have been worth it.
