We like the idea behind this game but it seems to have been abandoned by the developers. Try to connect to the store for new episodes and it crashes. Nothing looks to have been updated on the app or social media in some time.
Why the heck does this game require an active internet connection to play in single player? Most people buy text-based mobile games to play on their commute or during breaks at work. We understand that you would need one if youre playing with a friend, but if youre playing single player, the game should work without one. Instead, it refuses to load the adventures. We even have a mobile data plan, but its apparently not enough to download the data for this TEXT-based game.
A while back we were having issues playing the game on our phone. The dev team quickly got into contact with us & resolves the issue. Been enjoying the app since actually being able to play it!
We love the concept, but unfortunately many times in the story instead of giving us choices it just says Continue and then proceeds as if we had made a choice we didnt actually make. Not sure what thats about, but to us it breaks immersion and makes the game unplayable.
We still feel bad and a bit like a dissenter to write this based on all the good reviews, maybe we’ve read too many similar. Thanks for the nice response as this is a lot of work for at first glance free. Responsive devs raise it to three and half stars for the picky fan if we could. Thats the thing tho… Hesitates… Theres a lot of booky choice based stories. Im confused by the unique thing. Unless we’ve misunderstood it isnt exactly, aside from the involve your friends part. Which Id love to see more of some places. 80 Days is a great example of such a story that feels like reading a book. Its really probably a us thing. Some do seem to have heard of the stories before. We mean the writing is fine. We just wouldnt be ready to say a (optional at first) seven dollar sub fee fine, which is still better than ads or jewels we guess. It just honestly seems like a well designed choice app to us. Nice art, occasional camera angles for the illusion of movement. Was hoping for something more like the Inkle Studios books or the Fighting Fantasy gamebook app but with multiplayer. Like that actually has a dice UI. Maybe if we could play with internet friends not on Apple without putting them on our contacts list we might be more interested. As it stands you use Contacts or your Apple/Android Friends lists. The multiplayer is more for as they say if you cant get together with your usual game group. All and all we think this was meant for a certain crowd that already knew what it would be. We do like the multiplayer idea a lot though.
This game is very engaging and has a good storyline. We have a hard time putting it down.
As we started through the story we quickly settled in to the characters and found myself wanting to unwrap the mystery. Vivid imagery used in the descriptions is very engaging. Having some control over the next part of the story is a great twist. Looking forward to unraveling this.
This game is a refreshing reminder of games from our youth; filled with adventure and intrigue.
Lately we’ve found that we have a lot more time on our hands – Mythion Adventures has been a great escape. Love that we can play with our friends (Ive never seen a multiplayer app on our phone). Im also a big reader myself and love that you get to choose your OWN adventure and determine how the story will continue. So much fun!
We have played many other interactive fiction games and this one tops them all by far! You can tell so much work and love went into the story, art, and design of this game. We promise you wont find a better interactive mobile game out there. And you can play with your friends?! What! So cool.

The story is great – original and creative – the interactive component really adds a new twist to reading, allowing you to immerse yourself further into the story. Looking forward to engaging with a few friends to make it even more interactive. Cant wait for future adventures to be released!

Loved the books as a kid and now get to experience with our kids. They love to make their own choices and see what comes next. Tons of free content to get started. Transported to a new place every time we play.
We dont usually review the games we play, but we feel it is important to comment on this new game. We find myself becoming deeply involved in this innovative and captivating storyline. Before we know it the gang(The mysterious Rosen, the sturdy and resourceful dwarf Maalik, and the young mage Erwan, who is full of promise, but often needs guidance from his troop of players), and we are off and running into the adventures ahead of us hoping to do good and solve the dangers and traps in front of us. This new and creative game deserve a serious look. See you there in the world of Aulain.

Rich story, made engaging by diving in deep where you want, or choosing to take a different path when youre ready to change things up. Ill comment on the UX/UI as well- we appreciated the auto text scrolling, and the ability to adjust the pace. It gives the story, itself, more life. As well, the ability to scroll back up to catch anything you missed, then seamlessly catch up to where you left off, is well thought out and makes for a quality user experience. Overall, highly recommended!
Mythion adventures captures the wonder of known adventure games while being the first to do so as a multiplayer mobil app. It really makes you feel like you are a part of theyre fantasy world. We cant wait to see where the future adventure installments take us. For any casual gamer or avid reader mythion adventures is a must.
Awesome long term game/content!
The graphics and storyline are amazing. It is a game we just cant put down. Cant wait for the story to continue. Perfect way to get lost in another world during these crazy times! Our friends and we love to play together and individually. Would highly recommend this for everyone, traditional gamers and non-gamers!
