Naval Warfare is a classic strategy board game. It uses Game Center Turn-based multiplayer system. It is easy to pick up and instantly engaging. The game is pretty straightforward, allowing you to invite your friends or random opponents to play a turn-based game. You make a move, your friends make their moves at their convenience, and so on.
Be the first to sink all of your opponent’s ships!
Rules:
Each player starts the game with 4 shots. Each time a player’s 2 SHIPS are sunk, that player has one fewer shot in subsequent turns.
FEATURES:

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
- There was a problem when laying out up ships manually. The app would not recognize a correct ship placement. Problem is fixed.
- Rematch functionality on iOS 9 created a match with random opponent instead of existing opponent. Now Fixed!
- Some players used cheats on their jailbroken devices. A counter-measure was added that prevents loading of cheating libraries into the game.
- Push notifications certificates have been updated

What a great game we love it very FUN.
Hi there, our whole family plays this game as a fun way to stay in touch. Its a great game with some great functionalities. However, it looks like since Game Center was discontinued, you are only able to start games with people you have already played, and are unable to start a new game by searching by username or Facebook account. Can this be fixed, please?
We played this game with all our friends and family. Love it.

It been 2 years since its been updated. Theres a flaw in the game where a player can join a game but not lay ships out. The other player loses because it defaults to the original gamer. So disappointed in the developers for not maintaining this game.

Best Battleship game hands down! Realistic ships, awesome explosive action, and with gamers from all over the world ready for you to challenge. It don’t get any better than this. Best of the best!
Very fun with players all over the world. Classic battleship but multiple shots per turn makes game go very fast. Reduction of shots as you lose a pair of ships adds more strategy to the game. Downsides are sometimes buggy interface in placing ships and running out of extra shots. Nobody really wants to buy shots, so just make it advertisement supported.
We really like this game one of the best in ‘ Battleship’ category. The only thing to make it super great is the same frustration that reviewer titled ";No Updates".
Like the game. Could be quicker play. Keeps idle games open too long. But it is fun.
You can play different people in different games, it’s fun. It lags sometimes but we think it’s because we have a tablet (apple) but like we said it’s fun to play.
One of our favorite games to play BUT there are a few players that figured how to cheat by overlapping their ships. One of those is PETELO from French Polynesia. We see that multiple people mentioned him/her in their reviews. Please add the option to block/report such players and do something about them.
We keep getting matched up to one person who just stops playing the game if they realize theyre about to lose. We need to be able to block him so we dont get matched up with him again.

Not sure if they are cheats or glitches. There are many players with more than 80% wins. These players always seem to have ships placed on top of other ships or placed in invalid layouts. We usually just forfeit the games due to the unfairness.
Constantly moves ships by itself. Game freezes.
Losing turns because others buy turns and get more shots just makes it less fun and uneven.
This game could be great if the developer or current owner actually cared to overhaul it. There are several cheaters that need to be blocked from playing. They are 8 from Germany and Petelo from French Guiana. Both players are scum. They either do not set their ships up or overlap them.
This is a great game but too many people are cheating by overlapping ships making it impossible to win. Petelo, !-Ssmurai-! Are two prime examples. Can a report button be added? Or a block function to prevent cheaters from having access? Do we need to send our 5 year old grandson over to help with the coding?
Overall, great game for sort of mindless, sort of strategy entertainment. We started playing friends, but also enjoy random opponents. Some recent new glitches with random opponents never fully loading, and the game keeps asking you to reset your ships.
We actually like the game BUT… It reduces the number of shots dramatically if you are losing. You may get 25 shots and the winner 40! Makes no sense! Why not just even up the number of shots each player gets?? It’s called a FAIR game! Duh!
Absolutely fantastic game. We love it. We play with family members and friends all the time. However, the reason that we put only 3 stars is two fold: 1. Your ships HAVE to be separate. They won’t allow you to put a ship right next to another one. And… 2. You only have 24 hours to take your turn. If you don’t take your turn within that time, you forfeit the game and you loose… Even if you have more points and you are winning. Now we’re a pretty busy guy. We don’t have time to be on our phone every day playing games. We’ve kept this game for a long time but we think it’s about time we delete it and move on to another battleship game because we’re getting fed up with this one. They need to change this and maybe we’ll come back, but until then, we think it’s adios amigo.
Great game overall when it is working properly, but we consistently have issues where it tells us that the opponent has joined, but hasn’t laid out their ships. There is no fixing this which prompts us to forfeit a lot of those games.
When we click "rematch" it now searches for a random player and will no longer let us play with our friends. This means the game is worthless to us as we only play with people we know. Please fix this issue, we loved this before!
Not receiving achievements, open games over 24 hours no play are not showing they are defeated!! We can’t play more games because of the limit. Ships should be able to touch!
You need to add single player we have never played this version because of it.
Fun game to play – we like to have multiple games going at one time in case opponents step away for awhile.
The game is great! The problem is that your game has a major glitch. Lots of players do not lay their ships out after you challenge a random opponent. Then you can never make move… Then once the time runs out …. You have lost. Cheating players need to be STOPPED! They win by default and you can not even send them a text telling them how weak their game play is!
Fun game to play. The graphics are nice. The UI is good. The different types of fleets are fun. However, has anyone ever seen a giveaway tournament ever! We haven’t and we’ve been playing this for two years. AND, they need a one player version!!
You say u have to go to search username any any name we search nothing comes up even if we search our dads name it won’t come up. Seriously Peoria that made this game do we even test this stuff us just stupid how you never works so fix it or you will get NO customers and the it will be dead absolutely dead!

We’re sinking ships left and right the other players can’t stop us it’s awesome.
This could be a great game but it has issues. Sometimes it doesn’t update. People will just stop playing when they are losing, and the game gives them 3 days to make a play so the game just becomes stagnant. There is no way to suggest ways to fix this with the developers. It would be better if after an hour or two the other player forfeits their turn. That would stop that from happening. Makes for a dull game.
Player we’re against has a 2 day window for a move. We’re stuck. He quit playing to bore us and hope we quit which gives us loss, so now held hostage by guy afraid to lose. This is weak.
Fun to play any day! We play with random opponents and with family who is far away. Great game BUT way tooo slow when loading for you to take your turn!

Just lost a game because time expired in 4 hours. Meanwhile, we’ve had other games go 2 to 3 days waiting for someone to move. What’s the deal?
We love the game but it crashes often. We’ve had to uninstall and reinstall several times. It gives all sorts of errors. Please fix the bugs. We do love this game but we may have to permanently uninstall.
This is currently our favorite version of Battleship! Latest version works fine on iOS7 and the rule tweaks appear to be fine. We’ve had to lower our star rating for now because we’ve noticed we’re having a lot of trouble starting games with friends due to auto-inactivity timeout. What’s the deal?
