Enjoyed story line and the adventure. Didn’t get bored or dissatisfied .
One of the best games that we have played. HOPS and mini games are very creative. Loved the bonus chapters. You get a lot of game for the money.
The update works and this is one of the best. HOPs are varied, plot is compelling, and it takes a long time to finish. Highly recommend if you like HOPs!
We love the Nevertales games but none more than the three Alice stories. Great HOPS, good length and fun puzzles. We play them back to back several times a year. Great fun.
We love hidden object puzzle games, but they get a little repetitious. This one had some of the most creative and interesting HOG puzzles we have come across. Example- the clue is not a word, but a shape of say a bird, now you have to find 5 birds but they all don’t look like the shape. In some of the games the scale is deceiving so the item could be large or small. Even one puzzle a character is reciting a spell that you must find the ingredients for… No visual clues- brilliant! There is also very visually different puzzles. There’s not all hog games either, some other puzzle types too. Another element we like is that all the clues aren’t in just one "room" you find things from certain places that you may not use for quite a while. All in all a great game.
This is the best game we have played in a long time. Very unique ways of playing and puzzles are fun instead of frustrating. You can go back to hidden object sites to better your achievement rating. This was also a very lengthy game. We really enjoyed playing this. Hope there is more to come like this one. Thanks.
Got to the point in the game to unlock… Couldn’t, try after try!! Was afraid I’d have to tell our 6 year old granddaughter that we wouldn’t be able to play anymore. Unthinkable. IOS update and more than 20% charge and we’re back into the game and loving it. The HOP’s are so different and fun. Can’t wait to play with her tomorrow after school!! Worth the money for sure.

We just finished the whole game and bonus level and loved all of it! Maybe we got lucky, but we didn’t have any of these locket problems everyone is talking about. We’ve decided not to delete this one so we can play the whole thing over again because it was that good!
Love the two heads at the door quiz! Wish more games had that!
So far we have no issues with any big fish game. Some are more fun than others. Beauty within has been a lot of fun.

Now that the big bug is out of the way, we were able to play just fine and really loved it! Especially having so much more than just the first part. All the hidden extras and additional chapters were great! Totally worth the money and we’ll be looking forward to the next one! We were plagued with bugs too. Normally we just deal and play through them. We restarted the game 2x and finally got all the way back from the moon and the locket is gone (like a lot of other people said). We’re too far that we want to do all that AGAIN. We’ll wait for an update before we uninstall, but am seriously disappointed. It was fun (easy, but fun) and looked like it would actually be a nice long game and good story. The games were good too, unique. But because of the bugs it’s utterly unplayable. CAUTION: don’t download until they post an update to fix the issues.

- Very long game! Extremely satisfying. 2. Puzzles are a bit confusing, but mostly we think that is b/c the developers are trying to break away from the typical structure (or rut) that HOGs have fallen into… They put a lot of effort into putting variety into the usual formula. We were scratching our head a lot, and perhaps doing a bit of tap-tap-tapping when we were thoroughly baffled as to what to do next, but the variety and length of the game outweighed any annoyance. All said and done, we definitely RECOMMEND this game!!! The developers, Mad Head Games, did an outstanding job. They even had a couple sung songs thrown in there, like some kind of Disney move :)
Very entertaining game with a wide variety of mini games. For us, this was not too easy nor too difficult. There is a convenient help button and easy access to a guide if you need it. Fun game.
This game has everything we could ask for. We love the guide, the puzzles are unique, plus it has a map. We have been playing this for hours. This game is the most fun everrrr, we always loooovvvee Big Fish Games; they are the only fun games with a unique story and they always hold our interest!
We just finished two mediocre games. Hidden Expedition 8, which was WAY too short and boring compared with the last few in the series which were great, and Mystery Trackers Blackrows, which had Elf, which was great, but the rest of the game was boring. Wondered if we were just getting bored of these games but, no. This game is really good. Hard to say what makes the difference. Lots of attention to detail and a really engaging story with great cutscenes that draw you in. Two caveats. First, the story is pretty vanilla. If you’re looking for demons or asylums, probably not for you. Second, some of the puzzles are pretty basic or simple. If you want super challenging, probably not for you. But if you like nice adventure fairy tale games like the Otherworld series, you’ll probably like this. There is enough variety to keep it interesting. Plus, it is about ten times as long as Hidden Expeditions 8 (with its multiple 2 page chapters, not exaggerating) finally, ticks all the boxes like teleport map, customizable difficulty. Hope this review helps. We’re not part of any review group and not a big fan of BF as of late. Just trying to give helpful, honest reviews like the ones that have helped us. Happy gaming!
We have played several games lately, but so far this has been our favorite. We love the variety of puzzles offered. We havent written a review in a while, but this game is worth the extra time.
This was the first hidden object game we had played and we were hooked! We look forward to the sequel!
Great game! Unique HOPs, and we can’t say enough about the music. We usually turn the volumes to zero… Not in these Mad Head Games! Great design!!!
Update: we reinstalled the game after the update and played to the end without problem. Despite the locket glitch, this game is one of our favorites. Unique, creative, fun – and long. When we returned from the moon, the locket was gone. Now we can’t play. So disappointed – up until now, this game was outstanding. Please fix!!!

The game is engaging and well worth the price with the bonus chapter and three hidden chapters, each requiring completion of tasks before access is unlocked. We look forward to the next one.
This developer does everything right. Both the Beauty Within and Cadenza were different, long, intricate and had good graphics. We liked the hidden a and morphing objects in the scenes. Good map, too. Update: The hidden chapters won’t load. Disappointing.
This could be one of the best games ever, but some puzzles need better instructions, particularly when you cannot skip and you need item it produces to get to the next step. We are lucky someone on you tube figured out lion temple puzzle.
We’ve just started the game, but already like it. Interesting HOP right off – each object you found revealed part of a nut cracker. When you had them all it assembled and you used it to crack a nut, which lured out a squirrel that was holding the item you need – a car key. We like the extras, like finding the roses, etc. If the whole game is as good we’ll look for others like it.
This game was awesome! Probably the best BF game we have ever played. Story was great and just the whole balance of the game worked very well. We luckily didn’t have any issues and the game was really fun! We were surprised at how long the game was and with the collectors edition all the added levels. Very nice. We would absolutely recommend this game to anyone that loves these hidden objects games. It’s worth the money for sure.
So, glad it was fixed. It is probably the BEST game we’ve played, and we’ve played many. When you’re done with the main game, the fun just goes on and on with the bonus chapters! Well worth the money!
This is one of the best hidden object games I,ve seen for the iPad. There are games within games and tons of interactive objects in the HO scenes. You won’t be disappointed in purchasing this game.
You definitely get your money worth! This game never ends, there is always something to do. We cannot wait for the next Nevertales game. Great smooth play no bugs, just awesome!

Had a hard time with figuring out the hidden chapters. Enjoyed the game overall.
We first played this when it came out in 2015. It seems to have been updated with additional game features since then. Quite fun. We use custom settings to make the game challenging, yet we like to see the sparkles on the HOPs. This game has great sparkles! Good story flow, too. Odd map, tho, and not useful for much.
After the main game the cut scene went black so we have no idea how it ended, and we were not able to progress to the second chapter of the hidden chapter section because the HOG game didnt appear according to the walkthrough after the first book. Others than that, we really thought the game was great, we enjoyed all of the different types of games that got intertwined with each other and the extras about finding objects and roses etc. To add to the game. We havent played these games in a couple of years and we are impressed on how much they have improved with all the extras, better graphics and details! We hope they get a fix for the glitches. We are on IOS 11 on an iPad.
One of our favorite games. Bought it for PC and our iPad 2 because we love it!! There are some pretty serious glitches, though, through out the game. Pixels and dark screens in places. We had to restart it once. But by far the best game for your money!! LOTS to do, 3 Bonus chapters!! We’re really looking forward to the sequel!!
Some puzzles just would not work but the trusty skip helped. This was most prevalent in the bonus chapter. Nice LONG game with stupendous graphics!
We play a lot of these games and this is a cut above, the big high points are: the progression is logical, going from scene to scene is fast, the gameplay is varied and interesting, the characters and story are good and the puzzles and hos are different and challenging. Very enjoyable.
We bought and loved the game. Only problem is, after playing the bonus game, it won’t let us get into the Hidden Chapter’s section. Could someone explain how to enter this part.

We’re at the launch site and need the glass disc from the observatory but it won’t let us go back. Please fix, we don’t want to have to start over :(
Had trouble with a puzzle and get passed it.
Only giving it a three star rating. Oh, it’s a good game, all right – and the graphics are outstanding. But it’s a little glitchy (had to start over) and the VERY LAST SCENE cut out on us. Very frustrating!
This game is several years old. Its graphics are extremely appealing and its visually a delight. But, one cant put the spacesuit together correctly as theres a glitch somewhere. Is it too late to correct?
Other than that, it was a good long game.
