Loved this game, so many extras to get too! Well worth the money, the only issue we had was with the magnifying glass, you have to click on the book to move it, trying to move the glass is no good, and even then it’s annoying. We had to look up the solution and click on it in order to advance but still by far one of the best games we’ve played. Going to download the sequel now!

We had no glitches or freezes. It was truly a Great game, we think ties for our all time favorite. Loved the HOS where the clues were 2 shoes, 2 bugs, etc but then you have to find 2 bugs that are completely different, a fun upgrade from just a list. Also enjoyed the book where you had to find patterns that were drawn into the illustration. Also, finding the roses which then let you play bonus games. We would play a sequel in a heartbeat!
We’ve played every big fish demo there is, literally, and this is 1 of the VERY best. It’s challenging, non repetitive and is truly believable. We got so sucked into this game & cudnt put it down until we finished it. Our wife left us because we no longer pay attention to her or whatever she said, we wasn’t listening. BF home wreckers.

This played out like a full-length video game! We can’t believe it’s only $2.99-for the content you get, that’s a bargain! Compelling story, fresh original puzzles and HO scenes and a terrific bonus game! Can’t wait to play the next game in this series!!
We play a lot of mystery games, but this one is one of the best we’ve played. Love the detail and story line.
We love hidden object games, and this is, by far, one of the best we’ve ever played. The graphics are great. The plot had unexpected twists. There are tons of mini games of varying difficulty. And the bonus features keep the fun going. It’s more than worth what we paid. We can’t wait for the next Nevertales game to come out!
We played Beauty Within, when it first came out in 2015 or 2016. We recently went back to replay the entire Nevertales series and fell in love all over again with the Nevertales Beauty Within. Its was the first and is still outstanding game in 2022.
Everything about this game is done right. Highly recommended!
Love the game played the second one but once we finished the beanstalk portal and would get into the lab the magnifying glass would freeze and we could never go any further we want to finish the game but it won’t work a little annoyed.
Challenging, multiple puzzles and hidden object scenes.
The Beauty Within is a tasteful blend of fantasy, mystery, hidden object, puzzles and supernatural. It has a strong storyline and phenomenal graphic design. It starts out seemingly normal, but becomes stranger as you progress. With stories within the story, it helps the main character find a part of herself that was lost. At first, you’re doing normal tasks. Grab the car keys. Open the cupboard. Then, you’re doing crazy things like traveling to other worlds. The main focus of the game is to return the baby to her home, while discovering the secrets that lie inside your locket. What we enjoy most about this game is that you have to expect the unexpected. However, there is one big thing preventing the game from getting 5 stars. So, we’ve completed the main game and the bonus chapter. We finished the first hidden chapter as well. We were disappointed when the collectibles did not work. No matter what we do, we just cannot seem to open the cupboard. The BFG staff have been very helpful and cooperative, but no matter what we try, the collectibles don’t work. Other than that glitch, this is an overall amazing game. The best game of played in a long time a must buy.
Bought a few years ago… Had trouble with the library. Thought by now it would be fixed. So we bought it again. STILL HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE LIBRARY! Cannot move forward until we get out of library! So frustrating! We can tell this game is quirky, awesome & just the way we like but please help fix the library for us!
Similar to other postings on here, we really enjoyed this game until we got to the gate but our locket would not work. We reinstalled the game 2x… Will this bug ever be fixed??
Problems assembling/using locket.
Beautiful game, but lots of glitches. We were able to continue until we got to the lab and the magnifier got stuck. We have tried getting around it but no luck. Like other reviewers, we also would be unable to use some items, some things showed up only after we left a scene and returned, and sometimes we would not be able to pick up an object unless we used a hint. And some hints flash by so quickly if you blink you miss it and there is no way to go back (also in the lab scene.) we used the guide although we prefer not to just to move forward. Disappointed in BFG; have been fan for years. Lately so many games are so glitchy they are unplayable. Quality, not quantity- get it together Big Fish! Paid games that are unplayable = lost customers, we are sad to say.
It started off good but some where after the second portal we lost the locket and we couldn’t go any further. We did the update still no luck , then deleted the game reinstalled it but was NOT going to redo all of our progress. Now we’re out 2.99 and we’re not happy.
It has many problems-the locket will disappear and you will get stuck on a level and can’t play ahead- the team was nice enough to allow us to contact apple to get it refunded- but we wasted a lot of time playing it and getting stuck later.
We got most of the way through this game and then got the magnifying glass bug. Loved the game until it became unplayable.
Apart from its terrible story line there is one scene in which the hint is completely useless and we had no other option but to reset the game again and start from the beginning.
Looks like it has a terminal flaw and even starting over doesn’t get you the locket.
As is with many other people, we seem to get to a specific point in the game, and then our locket disappears, making it so we cannot continue playing. We like the story-line, the graphics, everything, but this one bug is making the game entirely unplayable. We think we should be refunded our money.
We like the storyline and gameplay. However, it is full of bugs. We have had to skip puzzles simply because they are frozen and we can’t continue. For example,the cannon picture you are supposed to color, it doesn’t work to color the green part of the cannon. We had about 4 puzzles that froze up and couldn’t be finished. Now we’re in the lab, the magnifying glass is frozen on top of the book and we can’t get any further. Paying 3 bucks for a game that doesn’t quite work and we can’t finish-not acceptable!
Magnifying glass mini game freezes 3/4 of the way through and won’t budge. We didn’t bother to start over. To hell with it.
That’s why we’re giving it four stars for now. Anyway, everything seems to be run really smooth, so the only input we really want to put in for the developers is, please make it so we can zoom in on the scenes! We usually don’t buy games unless we can enlarge them, because playing on a phone is some peoples only option, if we are to find a "Rose" it would be easier if we could see it. We have been really enjoying the new games the developers have been putting out lately. Update: we bought it & changed rate to 5 stars, it had no glitches on our iPhone 5 C (w/o the new iOS 8 update) we like how they are making the HOP’s more challenging & different & not so repetitive! It was a long game, but we DO hope we can zoom in on the next one, & we really like when games are interactive, for instance, the how you set up the collectibles to be found! Some newer games have many objects when touched, it’ll move or make sounds, or the character in the story makes a comment on it! That wld be great.
We like the activities. It was always different and fun. The storyline was intriguing as well. We wish it didn’t end soo soon.

Good storyline although predictable. Medium difficulty puzzles. Had to start over once since our heart locket disappeared on us though. Still giving it 5 stars since it was challenging to find all the extras in the scenes.

Without a doubt the best game of this type we have ever had the pleasure to match wits with. Very well done with puzzles we’ve never seen before. We were amazed throughout the game. Could not put it down. Buy it you won’t be disappointed.

We love the game… Perfect graphics, great story… But pitch at the rose gate… Couldn’t pass it… We paid 2.99 for it… Please fix it so we can finish the game… We could have give it 5 stars but cuz of that… We’re a big fan of bigfish… Always support u guy.. Love…

Found heart but then lost it count put heart in it to get gate to open.
Can’t get the heart to go into locket at the gate… Stuck and can’t move on!
Our husband and we have spent a pretty penny over the years on these types of games. This one was one of the best we have played–creative, challenging, and varied in the puzzles/HOS ratio. However, we too are stuck because the locket has disappeared. We have the heart gems, and if we press the hint function, it circles the place where the locket SHOULD be. Alas–we have tried restarting the phone, etc., to no avail. PLEASE FIX THIS SO WE CAN RESCUE THE POOR BABY!!! And so we can feel we got our money’s worth and be willing to buy more games in the future. Fix, and we’ll bump up the rating to a full five stars.
We have encountered the locket glitch as well and cannot move forward. The locket simply disappeared at different points of the game. Please fix it and we will rate more highly as it’s otherwise an excellent game.
If a game cannot work on a given device, why leave that device on the list? We’re pretty far along in this game, and have definitely found why the game warns that it works better on newer iPhones. We’re on a 4, and although the type is terribly small, and I’d really love to zoom in more places, it works, or so we thought until we got fatally stuck. We went to the guide and found out what the fame wants us to do, but 95% of the time, the animal head which has three positions won’t move up or down at all. When it does work, we have no control over where it stops, so we cannot progress. We’ve spent hours trying everything we can think of, but this needs to be fixed, or they should give us a full refund.
