Its really fun and fast paced but we have some suggestions to make it even better 1: crash physics, the game kinda has it right now but your car cant get like destroyed fully, so if you can make that happen it would be great 2: more drivers, it would be cool if there was like 20 drivers instead of 10 3: longer races, if there was a setting to make the race longer like 10 20 30 laps and your tires take longer to wear down itd be cool Overall great game.
If youre an f1 fan or just like racing get this game.
Ever since we downloaded this game we couldnt stop playing it all day, but it does come with its flaws. The drivers for some reason forget how to race and target you the better you do, smacking right into you constantly. Also penalties and longer races would be Nice for extra realism and fairness.
This game would be an easy 5 stars if you could play against real people, and have qualifying sessions before the races.
Game is fantastic and awesome. But their new update which requires you to watch an add before any event really affects the gameplay experience. Before the update this game was perfect.
Muy buen juego, us gusta mucho pero se hace muy difcil conseguir dinero o mejoras y toca repetir los eventos para poder obtener inyecciones montaras para as conseguir dinero y hacer mejoras y repetir los eventos tantas veces cansa mucho al jugador o bueno en mi caso es as muchas gracias.
The game is amazing, however 99 laps to complete the first time trial is ridiculous. We know some players appreciate the realism, but for others its way too long just to complete one race. Shortening it down to 20 laps or so would make the game much more playable.
The graphics on this game are 10/10 but the only down side is that you have to fuel every 2 laps or something like that and change tires every 4 laps, and who the heck wants to spend like an hour and a half on one race like they should at least cut the laps to like 30 not 99 cause 99 is way to long or just make the track shorter but we prefer 30 laps instead of 99.
We cannot race anymore after the new update since it does not give us the option unless we watch an ad or remove ads. Also starting in P10 is so annoying and the best you can make is P9 at the start of a race. Finally all the other cars do are crash into you and then you are forced to use the rewinds and eventually run out.
We got into this game a few months ago, its decent, ad-supported like most games. However, you could race without ads. Now, ads are integrated and you have to pay to not watch ads. Ads ruined the game. Devs, fix this pls.
Great game but we cant close out of the adds that pop up and loose all our progress:(.
The game is very fun and you can tell new star is advancing and learning from their past endeavors. The 2.5d styling of racing is honestly so fun to play with and the physics are very easy to understand and get used to. The game also deals with realism very well, every era has matching speeds and competition, as well as the other simulation elements like the tires and suspension/engines that can go out during the race. They also took the time to go out and name each city and circuit with its matching real life counterparts, with the animations to go along with it. Not only that but they give all of the AI racers names similiar to legends of the era they played in real life. Although we wish championship mode would be opened after completing the game, or achievement based instead of being hidden behind a paywall, the career mode does the job for us and it has PLENTY of content. Not to mention many side events like rivals with other racers and keeping your management and crew happy, and that affecting your races as well. Overall, we can confidently say that this game deserves 5 stars. Theres just not many like this in the retro genre and new star did it first, and executed it perfectly Id say.
Wonderful Formula 1 racing game. We finished the entire game and enjoyed it all. It has good crash and damage physics. Tire wear and fuel act on the car realistically. We love how you have to upgrade your car to keep it competitive making it challenging. This is a great game that requires no WiFi, we recommend this to anybody that wants a racing game without a let down.
Enjoy it so far but how do we change camera angle.
This is a great game but racing on the same tracks can get boring so maybe add more tracks but other than that great game.
This game is almost perfect for F1 fans (almost). This game is really great. One of the best F1, no, racing games we have ever played. The game blends the realistic racing style of F1 games and the retro gameplay amazingly well. One of, if not, the best games New Star has made. The racing is really exciting and the physics and mechanics are really good. The bot drivers though are pretty annoying sometimes and are extremely aggressive if you make them mad, which can be a fun challenge but sometimes its too much. However, this game needs just a little bit more to be possibly the best mobile F1 game out there. These are the features or additions they would make to the game (or implement into a future sequel perhaps?) we wish there was an online racing mode that you can select to race with other people in real time, or try to achieve the fastest lap time and have a public leaderboard. That would give this game a lot more longevity. Also, we wish we could look backwards or use the mirrors in cockpit view, because the little arrows that pop up if a car is not the best. There shouldnt be a full backwards view (that would defeat the realistic feeling) but the side mirrors should at least work somewhat. And we really really wish there was a replay or record feature to replay races from normal and other angles which would be so awesome!!! Ive have a couple amazing races with really good overtakes and we just wish we could save those. Additionally (a nitpick) we wish the settings would have a different section called something like Game assist or realism where you can adjust everything from steering assist to braking assist. We didnt even know there were assist features until halfway through our first save file and we wish the game was a bit more clear about that. TLDR: needs features like online multiplayer, lap time leaderboards, mirrors, and replay mode.
This game is incredibly fun and Ive been playing it nonstop. We do, however, have an issue in the perk system. Its not letting us equip our pit chiefs perks. This is bad because hes starting to lose happiness because we dont have his perk selected. We think the problem is that we had a commercial manager, and we had all the other perks for everyone else except the commercial manager, so it would only give us her as an option to get new perks then when we unlocked our new decade, its only letting us equip the guy whos on your radio and the commercial manager one slot for the radio guy and two slots for the commercial manager.
10/10 the best single player oriented racing game out there, we would recommend it to anyone interested in f1/racing games in general. Its honestly criminal how little recognition this game has gotten. We play Assetto Corsa, Forza, and the F1 games on pc and this is honestly the only mobile racing game we can stand. In-game purchases are completely optional, and not necessary whatsoever if youre halfway decent. Plus, the game is infinitely replayable, and an absolute work of art. We hope this game blows up someday so the devs can finally get the praise they deserve.
The game is fantastic, fun and we can listen to our music while we rave or spar with the track, but we have one thing yall should make a motorcycle GP that would be awesome with the same mechanics but for motorcycles. ( Im just saying ok but the game is amazing btw ).
Ive played so many iOS games over the years and this is one of the best Ive come across. Ive had experience in sim-racing, Forza Motorsport 6 and 7, using controllers, wheels, pedals, and this is our first Mobile Motorsport game. The ads are well-placed so its not too aggressive. The amount of details put into this and even all of the tips are super useful. If people are complaining that its too hard, thats entirely a skill issue. Im currently in the 2000s decades and have secured a podium spot at all GPs without using rewinds. We love the rivalries between other drivers. One thing we want to see in future is maybe different car audio.. It might just be us but it seems too identical. Other than that, we absolutely love this game.
New Star GP feels like an actual video game, not some phone game you play for a week then drop. The controls, the flow of the game, and the depth it has keeps us coming back. Absolutely nailed what they were trying to accomplish. 10/10.
This makes racing on the phone fun without blowing up our phone, the way of owning the team and upgrading the car and the cars upgrading through the decades there is so much play material and attention to detail the tires and car actually matter 5 stars easy.
This game is not accurate, max isnt winning every race. Jokes aside this game is very good the people saying its hard just have skill issue this game is made very well like the other retro games.
We are making a game similar to this (for school) we are wondering if we can use some Models or some code to get the Driving correct Please? If not Ill go back to the drawing board.
This is an excellent game to play if you like racing and does take some time to get the hang of it but after that it was so fun to play.
This game is awesome, the settings are really perfect for what the game is. Ive spent so much time on it BUT id love to see them add penalties for track limits, racing incidents, etc. Game would feel super fun and make the races even closer.

For anyone wondering if they should get this game, get it. The developers and all the people who worked on the app did a phenomenal job. Now a couple things that would be great additions, would be being able to do races with friends, kind of like how Retro Bowl has an Exhibition Game where you could pass the device and a couple people could play, we think it would be very cool if you could go to a WARMUP RACE or FRIENDLY RACE option and race against a friend. We know it is probably hard to do, but we think it would really enhance the gameplay after the original game gets a bit old. It could really make the game one that people go back to, and cement its place as a classic game.
This DEFINITELY reminds us of VIRTUAL RACING we just wish there was an OPTION to FULLY CUSTOMIZE the DRIVE BUTTONS on the screen. We REALLY could go for putting the ACCELERATOR on THE LEFT of THE SCREEN and THE STEERING on THE RIGHT.. Of the SCREEN.
This is the perfect blend of some in depth F1 mechanics and poly arcade style gaming. Absolutely in love with this game.
Game is so fun and high quality. Its really challenging and engaging also the in app purchases are very fairly priced so im planning on buying something! Id love to see possibly customized racers at other teams, more racer interactions and an expansion of the in-team dynamics. Either way its very polished and we cant believe this app is free.

One of the best racing games Ive ever played we dont understand why it has a 4.6 total rating it deserves a 5. The only this that we wish that the game has is replays, it would be amazing to see replays of you and other cars on the track with cinematic camera angles. Amazing game, great job.
Its New Star doing what New Star does best. Make fun games. The controls are great. It has auto brake which is great for the casual player, but can be turned off if playing with a controller. The gate is a bargain to get the ad free version. Highly recommend.
We really enjoy this game and bought the PlayStation version. Our friends who have never watched formula 1 or other racing series have also enjoyed this game when we play split screen. Could not recommend more and please add more tracks.
These guys make non stop bangers but this is prolly the hardest game. Our only complaint we have is that the skill gap from decade 1 to decade 2 is insane. Im still stuck on gp1.
New Star really understood the niche they were trying to fill and they nailed it with their execution. The controls are simple yet provide enough challenge to enjoy, the cars, tracks and customizations are broad and exactly what we were craving, and the depth of the game far exceeded expectations. This game really captures the retro gaming experience and with clever nods to the actual F1 days of yore, it brings back the racing of our childhood. 10/10, would recommend.
1:1 port of the pc game with great controls and nearly no ads.
Very fun arcade sim, somewhat realistic but has arcadey elements. Would really like a penalty system tho and ai fixes because its so annoying when they defend by just brake checking you in corners. Besides that its really fun.
This game is just awesome. The physics, and features like weather and manual pit stops etc. Just so cool. Our new favorite mobile game for sure. We really hope to see more added to this game.
Love the career mode, and we find it cool how the tracks are very similar to real life. The COTA knockoff is really good on the 2010s and we appreciate that because its one of our personal favorites. We also live how you can change camera angles. Great game, especially for free.
We love this game a lot but we cant access it on our backbone app for our phone controller. We can use it in game and it works great though so just a suggestion.
They gonna call this glazing but its gotta be done New Star Games is to the App Store what Lebron is to the NBA and because of that, Im going to be writing this review in those terms. When New Star Soccer came out, this was the equivalent of LeBron getting drafted: flashes of greatness but nowhere near the full potential. Fast forward to when a game by the name of Retro Bowl is getting universally praised by football fans and casual gamers alike and this is where you enter the Miami Bron era: surely it cant get better than this. Now we fast forward some more and questions start to arise if NSG can follow up with anything even remotely as good as their previous performance. Their answer? Retro Goal. LeBrons answer to that question? The legendary 3-1 series against the Golden State Warriors. We are now at the tail end of several years of dominance, with millions of fans having been entertained at this point and believing that this cannot go on for any longer. Unfortunately for the haters, there is still gas in the tank, especially with this newest release. In a time where AI use is becoming rampant and developers have become satisfied with disappointing fans by dropping trash sequel after sequel, NSG says forget that and drops a breath of fresh air with New Star GP. Its the same reaction people have when they realize LeBron is 40 and still averaging 25 points a game: this level of consistency shouldnt be possible. Yet somehow, when the doubt starts to rise the most, both NSG and LeBron James have proven expectations are nothing but fuel to become the best. Absolute Cinema.

Good overall game but would be much better with penalties. You certain into the walls and crashed in o 5tims per race and nothing happens.
