Ive played all the CE versions of Lost Lands and really enjoyed them so we decided to try the New York Mysteries 1. Another awesome game from Five-BN! Love all the clues, puzzles, hidden objects and hints. Devs it would be great if you added a camera screenshot feature as a tool like some other games we play. Right now we have to pick up our phone each time and take a pic of the screen on our iPad.
This game is fun and entertaining but not worth the $6.99. Finished the game in a day.
This developer just makes the best games. We have played them all, and rated them all high. Wish they were still producing.
The story has a degree of depth, the characters have actual personality, and the puzzles, while not super-challenging, are enjoyable to play and pleasing to look at. The artwork and animation are a treat, and its a nice long game. These Five-BN games seem to us to have value far beyond what competitors offer.

Ever since we began playing games by Five-bn, from the first game until now (we've played every HO game by five-bn now), we have been consistently amazed. Years ago, G5 was our go to for HO. Then, Big Fish held us for several years. But now, five-bn is so far ahead of every HO game developer we've paid hundreds of dollars to play over the years, that when we go back & play new games from other developers, we get bored quickly & cant finish them. All the games we've played from this developer have kept us engaged all the way through to the end of the games & this one is no exception. We can't imagine how five-bn games can get any better, but they somehow do! We're so amazed in fact, that we now download the full versions, paying full price without even looking at a trial version first. We hope this developer continues to stay true to their design, creativity & continual refinement of their product.
We love games by this developer, but this one has a HUGE glitch and we can't move forward at all. It stinks because we are about 3/4 of the way through, and we won't buy any others in the series until we can. And yes, we DID send a note to the developer, but as of now, we have not gotten a response. We will update when – and if – this gets resolved.
Great game, kept us interested. Liked finding all the morphing & collectibles, unlike in other games(we guess due to the fact it was noted on the map, if something was missing & then we could move on) and the map was very helpful. We have played we believe 7 games so far from this developer & the artwork is always breathtaking, we fully become immersed within the story & haven't had any issues with the game play.
