Im floored by how beautiful this game is… So much to do, so much to see… Really just a delight to play, the controls are responsive and the world is so expansive and well made. Definitely worth the download, hopefully the dev keeps going on making more things to do. Even if he doesnt (its ONE GUY?!?!) hes done so well that we couldnt blame him. PLAY THIS ASAP!

Thank you for bringing us such a great game! It have excellent graphics and a lot of options to adjust the graphics. Cant believe it takes only 500 MB. We love this free world. Its good to see such a great game without any IAP, ads or networking nowadays. This game definitely deserves more attention. The only issue is that the view can be only controlled by a joystick. This is a little uncomfortable for us. We would prefer a freely dragging control like most of the other FPS games. The developer is really nice, replying almost every comment seriously. Make more games like this, please.
Excellent use of iPad hardware easily a masterpiece. Its the best iPad game Iv ever played,Im sure it wasnt easy to make. Can you please add new realism sounds for running on different surfaces and area effect sounds and more new quests within the games replay option.
This game is absolutely amazing. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is heartfelt and the world has so much to explore. It has a Fable/Elder Scrolls feel to it which we appreciate. We highly suggest this game!
This game was absolutely brilliant! It was intensely emotional as well and we were not expecting that! The final boss was like something out of Shadow of the Colossus. Very well done game! We first bought this game on a sale via Google Play for our Samsung Galaxy S5. After we first played it, we got addicted to it. We decided to buy it for our iPhone 5s, and we never stopped playing. The games graphics are breathtaking and the music is calming and catchy. Exploring the world was our favorite part of the game. And Love & Tin was very emotional for us. This game is brilliant in every way. The developer has done a great job creating this game. Im looking forward to see how much this game grows. Also, Im currently testing Nimian Legends: Vandgels and it is as stunning as BrightRidge. Im very grateful for this game. Thank you, developer. Hope you have a good day.
Use a translator from Spanish to English for this: Este juego es increble es de lo mejor que he visto en la AppStore. No entiendo como ya tiene 2 AOS en la tienda y Apple no lo ha colocado en recomendaciones, dejando este juego increble en el fondo del olvido de la tienda y destacando juegos basuras y repetitivos como los inifinity run o juegos de cartas o del estilo candy crush. Este juego es de los poco que he visto que aprovechan al mximo las capacidades de los dispositivos iOS y debera estar en el top o en la pgina principal de juegos. Grandioso trabajo, pero plataformas mvil estars bastante limitado en todos los sentidos. Te recomiendo que adaptes este juego a la Nintendo switch y comiences a desarrollar para esa plataforma, que Nintendo est apoyando a los desarrollos inidies como este. We understand people want money but the way you went about it is kinda deceiving the buyers for 3$ you could of made it a 2hrs game play. It was less then 20mins of action not bad though your a intriguing developer but with all the others out there, we dont doubt your give them a run for the money. We played love&tin will check out the other one a later time. But keep at it thumbs up.
This game is probably the one of the best out there on the AppStore. We have no words for how great these graphics are. This game destroys our battery percentage though.
We are exceedingly surprised at the quality of game play based on the price tag. We would pay $10-15 dollars for this easily, no joke. The music and graphics are amazing, the playability run is very fluid. The controls do take a bit getting used to and we highly recommend going into control settings when you figure out where you want them and lock them in place (makes playing a little easier). The story line reminds us of Zelda from when we were a kid. We have been looking for a game that has a great story but does not consume our life. This game is officially part of our favorites collection. We hope you continue to develop more wonderful stories like the one here. Sincerely Liz D.

Best customization and all over a great app. No crashes for us. Id be willing to buy a newer app from you if graphics are improved further.. We already got this and wilderless. Make one for 2022 and if it surpasses these apps make it 4.99 ill pay! Lol.
?? How is this game only $2.99?? The graphics are amazing and our tiny phone screen doesnt do it any justice. We wish we could play this on the big screen. If the developer ever decides to release it on the switch,pc, or another platform we would definitely buy it. Im rarely ever impressed with phone games but this one seriously goes above and beyond any expectations. We initially purchased because of the intriguing description, but was hesitant about the actual quality due to the price. However, within the first ten minutes of gameplay, we were already overwhelmed by the amount of detail and thought that went into creating this game. It reminds us of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/My time at Portia with its beautiful storyline, graphics, gorgeous and seamless open world with so much to explore etc. If youre searching for a game that offers an in-depth experience and a beautiful open world, this will not disappoint you. This could easily be priced at a much higher price point and is an overall a steal for what it is. We Had to leave a comment because of how amazed we were at the quality of work. Like the other commenters, we are confused by why this is not the top 5 for its category. This is not just a labour of love, whoever created this is seriously talented. All aspects of it have been executed excellently- Especially the stunning graphics.
This game, is beautiful… Everything from the world, to the music, to the story, it is just… Beautiful. We didnt think we could get so emotional over a game, but this proved us wrong. We chose to play as Rando, and as we went on this beautiful journey, it was like watching a sunrise with your best friend. Wow, this game got us all poetic. We love this game so much. We cant believe that this is an app. It doesnt deserve to be on an iPad. We would love to see this game become the console game it deserves to be. That way the world can be fully appreciated. The graphics are gorgeous, the music always matches the scene, the stories are compelling and we actually care about the characters. We cant recall a time we have physically reacted to what we were seeing on screen. It didnt feel like a game, it felt like a story, and we mean that in the best way. We were invested, we wanted to know what would happen next, instead of on to the next level. We love how real your world feels. It felt like you had out a lot of thought into it and how the the beings in that world behaved and went about their daily lives. We also liked how the sequel incorporates elements from this game. After playing the demo, we played Vandgels. We loved it so much we wrote a review and downloaded this one. It was cool to see elements in this game that made us think oh, that goes on to become ______ or wait, is that the ______ that we saw at the _____ of the other game? We love playing these games. They are examples of what happens when an artist is allowed to create their vision. With the right team and funding, we think you are capable of making the next The Last of Us. We wish we could give you a 20 star rating. Just to bump it up to the 5 star you deserve. We looked through the other reviews and saw the ones that are, less than favorable. First off, they dont know what they are talking about, most likely trolls. Second, seeing your response to them made us love your games even more. We loved that despite their attempts to discourage you, you saw the glass half full and pointed out their compliments. Dont ever let them get to you. Keep up the good work. Why hasnt this game received an IGN review or something big? To the developer: You have done an amazing job on this game! Unlimited camera options for whatever youd enjoy. The graphics are just stunning. We could see an elder scrolls on mobile using something similar to this. Just a gorgeous game… And for mobile!? Nuts. Help the developer of this game continue to succeed and surpass our expectations! Purchase now. You wont be disappointed.
Wow so much detail and work went into this game , the environment is amazing done and detailed if you up the quality, and pretty large for a mobile game. The story parts are good maybe a little emotional, and we do wish there was more to the story sections, but this game is definitely worth a purchase, we hope to see more updates to this or perhaps a sequel hopefully with a longer story element. Excellent work. Hope to see more.
The open world has a lot of details shadows, leafs, textures its doesn’t feel bland\lifeless like most mobile games we’ve played. We’ve played this game since day one and we’ve seen alot of improvements. Keep up the good work also cant wait to play part 2.
HOLY COW!! First off, the graphics are beautiful for a mobile game! We love how you can change the settings to have higher FPS. The story was amazing. The characters were well made. We wish the story was longer but other than that we absolutely love it!!
We remember the first time we crawled out of the vault in Fallout 3, or leaving the sewers in Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and being amazed by the beauty of the environment. The landscape of this game evokes similar emotions, and is probably the best looking game on the iPhone X.
This is one of the few big world where our 4 year old child can play. She can’t read yet, but she is able to follow the markers that guides her where to go next. We love this idea! There aren’t many grand games that a child can play. Highly recommended for parents!
We bought this game years ago when it didnt have a story line. We played for 30 minutes and then never touched it again. Now in 2021 playing again with all the Updates and its a completely different game. We thought it would be the same game as vandgels – that game we finished already and loved it. This game looks similar but everything feels different. Im very grateful for this experience. Im looking for more games that are relaxing. That do not require shooting or killing anyone constantly. Something to play at night that may actually help us fall asleep. That being said, we will download his new game, wilderness. Thank you.
Im not gonna write it all over again… The controls are very frustrating and dont work properly in our opinion but besides that its great for doing photography and then converting that into watercolors or oils via filters But we should warn you our iPhone seven overheated we guess we set the settings to too high of a definition once again Im getting very fed up with the controls not working on the character not moving its as bad as this bad voice recognition we are using.
We have been a player of BrightRidge for a long time! We started out just playing the demo version and we would just fly around with the eagle all the time! We ended up buying the full version and honestly it is the most beautiful and addictive game we have every played. You created a world that is so realistic and beyond our wildest dreams. The stories are wonderful and also a little emotional. You feel such a deep connection with the characters and that is something you dont find in a lot of games. For being a game we play on our phone, it honestly is one of the best games we have ever played. We have replayed stories over and over trying to discover and figure out more and more! We are beyond excited for all the new things that are in development! Thank you so much for taking your time to create something this special. You can tell you put all your heart into it! This game is truly amazing! We’ve been looking for something like this for iOS for a long time. This game is the most stunning game we’ve ever seen for iOS! We like it when developers actually make use of our devices capabilities. Congrats on a job well done!
We enjoyed the first scenario very much. We also have the other nimian legends game in which our 4 yo grandson watches over our shoulder and tells us where to go.
Add a spider shape shift that can walk on walls and make stuff and things with web.
With an interesting storyline to follow this game is great as a freebie. We really enjoy the theme and the work put into threading the story together through the chapters. If we paid for this game we might be a little disappointed but only because of minor control issues. We would prefer the joystick/buttons be stationary with an option to edit their position. As they are, it becomes difficult to move/look and jump/attack simultaneously. We find myself constantly adjusting our thumb to run. Movement died is a little slow for the expanse of the map as well, but this is remedied by shapeshifting. The grafics are great! Beautiful landscapes. Obviously a lot of work put into the open map world. We’ve really been enjoying this and will be sharing it with some of our friends after we finish this review!
The graphics are great on the iPad Pro, but what really impresses us is the artistic design. We dont normally write reviews, but we felt like we needed to because this game is sooooo close to greatness. The music is nice and calming, the sounds could use some work but are still fine. The thing that just completely takes us out of the experience and undoes any relaxing feeling Im supposed to have is the frustrating controls and camera. It is something that has been so well done in gaming that users dont even think about it anymore, but BrightRidge snaps you back into a frustrating reality. There are options to change both camera and controls, but it never feels right. We want to reiterate, the world created here is stunning. Artistic design, in general, is hard to describe but the landscapes and angles and lighting and weather are all so unique. We were able to get this game for free, but if the controls and camera would feel as special and cared for as the rest of this game we would GLADLY pay the price for the top tier iOS game that BrightRidge would surely be. Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing what this developer has in store in the future.
This game is great and has some of the best graphics we have ever seen for an iOS game, but the resolution is not right for the iPad Pro 11 in.. If you could just fix the resolution we would be completely satisfied with the game. Thank you!
We love the game, its relaxing and fun to play and explore. It would be so much better if you could add controller support for it for when we are playing on the iPad or our phone. We hate having to cover up some of the world with our gigantic thumbs lol.
This is real game that, unlike fortnite IS NOT out for your money, the graphics are incredible( but the controls could use some work) But we love the storyline(s) and the idea of turning into animals and monsters, and CHANGING THE GRAPHICS!!!

We honestly found it very frustrating. We didnt play for long because we could not figure out how to work the controls. Our character would stand in one place and we would try everything to get him to move and be unsuccessful. We are not the best at games, but we have played some Final Fantasy. We guess we just couldnt figure this out. It had controls and various options that we tried. Ill probably go back in and try it again at some point. It did have a very clear indication of where we were supposed to go with following the light. However, we just couldnt get our character to move properly in the directions to follow the light. Sometimes we would reach point such as another character and it was not clear at all how to interact with that character. We did experiment in settings with every possible combination of the touch controls. We tried looking around, we tried flying, we tried using the jump mechanism and just jumped in place. We tried looking at different views of the map. There were a few times when we could actually get our character to move and we were momentarily thrilled. But usually 99% of the time the character was out of control and not easy at all to move and stuck in a corner or on top of another character. We couldnt even feed the dog! Simply put, an iPad is not a trackpad. It does not have a gaming pad like a console.. So you shouldnt design it the same way as you would for a gaming pad, since that doesnt work. We could move our characters in Final Fantasy on the iPad right away. So whatever theyre doing is what ever you should be doing we guess. But we dont know, because we are not a game developer. We started with chapter 1. We are playing on a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 on iOS 12. Looks beautiful but seems it should be easier to move character so we can focus on the story rather than focusing on how to move the character around the map and in rooms.
The world is indeed beautiful. The awkward, delayed controls almost make it intolerable. We would love to see this fixed as we may have to give up out of frustration. While the world is beautiful is desperately needs a tune up. We think this game could be almost reinvented with an update to the graphics. A HD remaster if you will. For example we have a iPad Pro 13 inch and we feel like we are in a iPad gen 2 game. Maybe there is no more interest in developing this game and you the developer have moved on. Totally understand, but honestly we would not charge money for a game that sorely needs a reworking to be relevant today. Or sadly this should be a iPhone only game. We hope the money we paid will go towards a remaster though :-). As a single developer this is amazing work for its time and you should take great pride in its development!
This game is beautiful and amazing. We have absolutely no complaints about the game, however the price was listed as $2.99. We purchased the game and iTunes charged us $18.99. So they charged us something other than the listing price. Be careful. We are contacting iTunes today. We will write an update. We dont know if they set the listing price wrong or if they are using baiting and fishing scams to get sales. Either way, this is not how to treat customers.
Im about fifteen minutes into the game (iPad Pro 12.9) and struggling like crazy trying to collect the first items guarded by monsters. Rando walks slowly. We cant get him to run at more than a jog, or jump reliably. Its maddening. We would love to play more but dont think its possible for us to successfully retrieve the items needed with the controls the way they are. We’ve fiddled with them and nothing seems to work. We cant imagine how difficult further challenges would be. Any advice would be gratefully accepted.
Theres not much else to say, the graphics are the only good thing about this game.
We spent 4 dollars for a cheap graphic, slow moving, crappy game. First, you cant even move fast. Second, its not beautiful as evreyone says, its just CRAP. The deer doesnt even have eyes! Third, NOTHING goes fast, your slow, BOT is slow, the wolf is slow, the EAGLE is slow! AND EAGLES ARENT SLOW. We have have tons more to say but we wont.

(Fyi we played on an ipad pro with 256gb memory, most of which is unused. We had nothing else open.)There may be a great game here, but it is likely Ill never know. Just too exhausting to even try to make the character move in the correct direction, let alone any other action. Camera goes all over the place and constantly gets too close in to the main character – we tried moving it out but just zooms in again. Tried first person and same thing. Try to select to move in a specific direction by pressing on the screen and half the time the character just continues to stand around. When he does move, the camera swings wildly and so do the characters movements. Just awful. Music and visuals are good but there is no voice – or only a compressed squeal when there should be voice. Everything is in a text box at the very bottom of the screen, which we miss half the time while struggling to control the characters movements – so Im missing most of the dialog. Characters do have speech bubbles sometimes, but text does not appear in them. There are a range of movement settings, but none of them helped – just a mess. Touching a character or object seems to accomplish nothing – perhaps this is a port from a different platform as this game seems not designed for touch controls. Sadness.
Im glad we stumbled onto this game. Definitely worth the price. This should be a top 10 app!
We have followed different versions of Nimian Legends for years, and each new development brought something fascinating and unique. This version is the best one yet. We love games with 3D worlds that the player can explore, but unfortunately theres not that many on the app store we were so excited when we first found this game in one of its earlier versions. We are extremely grateful that the developer kept updating this game with new versions. Truly one of our favorite games!
Playing this game is like having a dream. The graphics are beautiful and the story takes us out of the real world into a world of beauty and magic. Im really enjoying it!

We’ve had BrightRidge HD for a long time now, and we can find absolutely nothing to complain about. This is the only game we’ve found that really feels like being in a place, and on a mobile device, too. We’re eagerly awaiting Vandgels and the new areas. This game has so much potential for stories and places. As for suggestions, all the plant life in the game has names, but they’re never shown anywhere- which made us imagine a botany notebook that could be found. Perhaps a small shelf in one of the buildings with a few readable books on wildlife, history, or fiction stories taking place in Nimia?
