Nine Men`s Morris is a two- player board game. Each player has 9 pieces (black or white), which must be laid on the playing board, consisting of 3 concentrical squares. There are 24 available positions on the board for laying down the pieces. First player that gets his opponent down to 2 pieces or blocks him for making any legal moves wins!

How to play?
Nine Men`s Morris has 2 simple and easy to use phases.
Setup Phase- Bring in the pieces! : Players take turns laying their pieces on vacant points on the board.
Regular Phase- Let the black&white battle begin! : After all the 18 pieces have been laid down, the regular phase begins. In this phase, a turn consists of sliding a piece along a line to a vacant point. Whenever a player creates a string of three pieces on one line, he immediately removes one of his opponent's pieces. (This can happen during the setup phase or the regular phase.) However, an opponent's piece which is part of a string may not be removed unless no other piece is available.
You can call it a match when not a single piece was removed, after repeating several game configurations.

We tried a lot of other Nine Men's Morris games and this is the best! Expert is getting to be too easy, but we still love this game. It seems to follow the rules if you understand about 'flying'. Give it a try.
It has a very clean look and is well designed. CPU plays a little too easy even at expert. Playing is a nice way to relax and practice for taking on a real opponent.
It's a fun game, helped us through a 3 hour layover but it definitely got too easy too fast. Expert is too easy now. But other than that it's a good game, highly recommend it.
Freezes up about one in five games. Also, a lot of times when you move a piece, it doesn't lock onto the destination point. It's aggravating. Graphics are good, but preference screen shows two other variants with no explanation as to how to unlock them.
Can't really play friends like you're supposed to because the online feature is nonexistent. Waste of time.
Deserves 0 stars cpu is terrible.
Looks nice. Probably fine for two human players. But, the computer AI is TERRIBLE.
Maybe it's just a bug on our version, but this app quits the instant we tap to open it. It turns black for an instant, and then goes back to the home screen. We are really sad because we love this game and was really excited to see an electronic version. 'Tis a shame.

Great to know that an ancient game is still alive an even being played in Boriken our home.
We have not tried the other nine men's Morris apps but this one is great! Wish there were people to play online against but this is a very good version.
This app works smoothly and well, but is really only good for teaching a newcomer this classic game that was very popular in Medieval times. Once you understand the game the app doesn't offer much of a challenge. We're hardly an expert Mills player–but even on the hardest setting, we've lost only once in multiple plays…and that only because of our own negligence.
