Ive played this game for a long time and updates are few and far between so we were excited to see a new update today and a new island. However, you cant fish the new island unless you pay $4.99 for a new sword. Not cool.

During we were fishing in the tranquil sea and encountered the ghost squid and hooked it. We were so happy until THE GAME CRASHED ME ALL THE WAY OUT!!!!. Can you please fix this.
Keeps logging us out of the game and takes us to Home Screen.
If we chop too fast on a treasure, we lag out and the app crashes. Every. Single. Time.
The game crashes whenever we try to open a chest.
We think we got this game around 12 years ago and Im finally writing a review for it. All and all its a good game to pass the time. We like how the ads are optional and its a good way to get more gold. We love all the new locations over the years and all the updates! (we remember when we just had Dino Island) we do miss the seasonal fish and events. The problem Im having now is the chance rate for when rare occurs. We can probably play hours straight and not get a single dragon to appear even when we have all the Dragon Treasures. It would be cool if you guys added in a Incense upgrade or like a O bucket of chum upgrade. Something that just has the effect to make more rare fish to spawn in.
We love this game, since we were a kid playing it just seen the new content update and was pretty excited, however like many of us Im sure we dont play this game much anymore over the years, so please add an option to restart so we can have a fresh start from the beginning. As when we were younger we completed most of the game.

The tilt is highly messed up at least for us and ive used the tilt calibration to try and fix it but it never changes anything.
Whenever we try to tilt our phone as instructed by the game, nothing happens, the line doesnt move it just sits there pls fix this. Im on an iphone14.
The core gameplay loop is mindless and fun, and though rare fish can be frustrating to get, overall we have little qualms with the gameplay. There are some little annoyances, one in particular being that you cant view your Open Water trophies or purchase Open Water lines and weights unless you have a fishing spot currently active, which is entirely unnecessary especially if youve fished there before. The biggest complaint we have, and it is a big one, is that after Tranquil Sea, everything becomes prohibitively expensive. Hundreds of thousands of gold for new upgrades, while on a good cast with an ad multiplier youll pull in maybe 20,000 gold. The newest island will cost you 624,000 gold for the last line upgrade. If youre even mildly impatient, this pushes you towards the microtransactions extremely quickly. Overall we do like the game, but we would really appreciate some QoL improvements and a more balanced shop.
As an experienced player of the game, we found a few major bugs regarding the new update. 1: Unlocking the new treasures (Not the ones related to restoring the shrine) crashes the game. 2: Merely clicking on the treasures menu crashes the game! 3: There are 36 total fish in the new island, yet we noticed 6 of them dont exist on the trophies list. Some examples include the Artemis Fish and the Zeus Fish. If Gamenauts sees this review, please fix these bugs ASAP as theyre blocking essential features! Other than that, we still adore this game with our hearts content.
Stuck in an iCloud loop every time we finish a level it just restarts the game as it found a newer saved game on the cloud but it just takes us back just before the last level disabling deleting doesnt work messages devs directly over a month ago and not even a response glad we spent real money on this.
This is our favorite mobile game ever. Been playing it since we were a kid. The problem is Ive caught every fish in the game except the last 2 seasonal summer fish. The problem is they havent added the summer fish to the game in years even when it is summer time. So our mission is impossible until they decide to add them again. Plz add them.

This game is awesome. We love collecting the fish and unlocking new islands. But some thing about this game really annoys us. When we are really deep in the water ready to find a new fish a tuna or a barracuda comes out of the wall like it owns the place and bites our hook and we have to go back up to the land. The reason this struggles us is because we have a strategy that about half the people in the game use. Its when you to the side of the wall and just get deeper. Using this You do have to chop a few fish if there mouths get close to the hook. This happens to us about 80 percent of the we fish its so annoying. Because we love this game so much its so amazing but this problem makes us not want to play anymore. If you start. Your gonna have super fun until you get 500 meters when you find the barracudas and tuna then delete the game and go play fortnite or Zooba.
For the 14 pro can you make it so the dynamic island isnt covering how far down we are.
Love the game have beaten it, but cant figure out how to reset our data (devs help please?).
Given the start rate, it makes us bummed out about this bug. The three buttons on the bottom are still responsive. We can even change the settings. We can still hear the sfx and music. But once we touch the play button, no button animation plays, and also all the buttons on the screen become unresponsive unless we close out of the game. We really do like this game as it has been a part of our childhood. Just a little bummed out that this bug exists.
The game opens but you cant touch any buttons on the start screen. Nothing works, we restarted our device to no avail.
We were loving this game. Ive had it for quite some time. Ive stopped playing for about a year or two but got hooked once again. We came across an issue just a few days ago though. We already had the strongest sword which can cut through the dynamite that we had paid for. We purchased the second strongest sword to have an option on which sword to play with and now our first sword is not accessible any longer which Im not happy about since we paid the money to use it. If this problem can be resolved it would be great if not we dont think we can continue playing this game.
Love the game, just wish you could save progress with an account so it doesnt erase all your data every time you erase and get back.
We loved this game when we were little, so we Re downloaded we but it keeps glitching us out at the start screen whenever we click play.

The game wont even start on our phone. When we hit play it kicks us out.
We had much fun with this game years ago, but when we tried to redownload it as of September 28, 2022, it keeps crashing every time we hit the Play button. We have tried deleting and redownloading and it still does not work. Additionally, if we try to turn off iCloud in the settings menu, none of the buttons work even when restarting iPhone and hard quitting the app.

Such a fun game. Remember playing it a decade ago, went to re download and it crashes after we hit play button. Thought it was our phone but reading other reviews, sounds like a bug. Hopefully devs can fix soon.
As of 9/17/22 game immediately crashes after opening.
So our only thing with the game is the new scrolls in the corner with the bronze, silver, and gold stars. Whenever we try to tap on them it immediately kicks us out of the game. Not really sure whats going on but besides that this is an amazing game, Ive been playing for years now.
Used to play this game and it was cute and fun. Re downloaded today, 9.2.22, and after changing sound settings have been completely unable to click any other buttons in game. Closed and reopened. Restarted phone. No luck. Until resolution game is unusable.
Finally gained access to the Dragon Fishing spot. We played two games and suddenly the game crashes and wont let us boot it up. We hit play on the main screen and it crashes every time now. :( sad because we enjoyed this game. Would love a fix for this.

Its pretty fun but when you get better the bombs down below are very annoying when your slicing the tnt bombs are ok and fun but the bombs connected to the chains are very annoying if they were removed this game would be 5 stars.
This game is addictive and satisfying but we notice a few things that would make sense to modify. As you go up each island you should race the price of the fish and upgrades based on the island. As well as when you complete a collection you should be able to get more gear and receive coins. Playing online you should be able to redeem the gems you earn for things you can use in the regular game. It would also make sense to make the sushi quest and the village give you more coins than it does. Because it doesnt make much of a difference whether or not you complete the quests. This game could be way better and have your players invested in the game longer than what it is currently. Take this into consideration.
Fun game, but dont bother watching ads for 2x gold or purchasing items. You dont get them.

Great game but the latest update broke the dragon island. Now we cant complete our quests. Please fix.
Absolutely love this have have been playing it since we were a young kid, but every time we try to go to the dragon map the game crashes and wont let us play the map. Spent so much real money to buy lines for the dinosaur map to get 20 different kinds to unlock the map to not even be able to use the map at all Also cant buy the lantern that lights up the entire ocean.
Its been a very fun mindless game to play and complete daily challenges. The recent multiplayer update is very exciting! However, it seemed to break our dragon shrine. We cant load it up and completely our daily :(.
