We love this game and have played it on both Android and iOS. It is hands down our fave over the years. However, we are surprised they havent implemented a zoom feature for the larger puzzles, and we also think the game would benefit from the ability to use the Apple Pencil rather than the joystick or a finger. Overall, we still play despite these minor detractors because the puzzles are just wonderful.
Out of all the nanogram puzzles this is by far our favorite. Ive downloaded others and deleted. This one always stays. We saw how many have rated this and Im shocked. Haha. We were expecting at least in the 1ks. Its funny when people see us playing and we show them all Ive done – theyre like wow, youre so smart! Our 8-year old enjoys trying to figure out what the puzzle is before we finish. We always recommend this (especially to people having a hard time falling asleep. We dim the light on our phone and after a bit of playing, we fall right to sleep.).
Please fix the freezing and the loss of progress.
Good game but now freezes up and loses progress.
So Ive absolutely LOVED this game for years. Ive played it off and on and never given up on it because its just a really great puzzle game. Ive even had to restart because of changing from android to Apple, even with this it was worth it, however recently Ive had tons of glitches where it either freezes or just doesnt save whatever we do when we play the game. Once they fix this itll be 100% a 5* again.
Ive been playing this for a couple of years and still love it to this day.
We tried a number of Nonogram app and this one is the best. Best control scheme by far and tons of levels for free.

How to transfer our game data to another iphone.
When they claim this is the best nonogram app ever, they are absolutely not kidding. Ive been super into nonograms recently and Ive downloaded and deleted so many apps trying to find the right one. Well this one is perfect. -Its got no annoying energy system that makes you wait for it to recharge before getting to play again. -It doesnt accidentally reveal answers by marking when you do something wrong or prematurely telling you that youve done something right, like some other apps. -Theres TONS of puzzles and all of them are free; no additional frees to unlock packs. Plus, its not required that you complete one pack to move on. You can literally play any puzzle in the entire game at any point. -Theres actually decent sized puzzles ranging from 10×10 all the way to 30×30. -The controls are good and actually make sense and theres settings to help customize them to your preference. -we personally have experienced no glitches whatsoever and the app always runs smoothly. Overall, we consider this to be the perfect nonogram app. It really feels like it was designed with the player in mind above all else and we cannot recommend it enough.
The game does not take into account newer phones with a notch. Parts of the game are displayed over the status bar areas.

All of a sudden this app hemorrhages data. What exactly is it doing that it used .6 gigs in 20 minutes at a Starbucks.
Used 21.2 GB of data in just two weeks!! Be careful this app might not be what you think it is.
We searched the App Store for a simple Picross app, and all the top hits were littered with ads and terrible controls. This app is truly a gem – the ads are unobtrusive and the controls are great. It also has nice UI design, unlike the top downloads in this category. This app deserves way more attention than other logic puzzles, it's literally the only Picross app we kept after downloading all the others.
We don't write reviews often, but this is by far the best nonogram app available, and we've tried pretty much all of them. Great puzzles, pretty no-frills, you're never overwhelmed with ads all over the place, extra puzzles don't cost a ridiculous amount, and the joypad is really great, especially on the big puzzles. Great job. We're addicted.
The game controller needs to be a little bigger because we keep hitting another direction button then one we intended to hit (even with the large control pad option on). We would also like to suggest that you get rid of the extra line when playing on a 30×30 board because it makes it confusing when we need to know where the middle is.
Hey we wanted to say that this is a great app with a really good interface. Our Korean wife introduced this to us and we like your version the most.
Ive been playing this app for almost two years now, and Im not even halfway done with the amount of puzzles this app offers. We cant recommend this app enough. This app also makes a great conversation starter. The number of times Ive had people come up to us and ask us what game Im playing has made recommending the game all the more easier, but the baffled looks Ive gotten from explaining the game make it worth the explanation. As of now (10/27/17) the only complaint we have is with the newest, most recent Apple iOS update, the app has a tendency to crash often and delete any progress that wasnt saved within the board. We recommend to the developers an update in compatibility to make sure this problem gets fixed ASAP.
This is by far the best app for nanogram puzzles. Ive almost completed every puzzle, but new sets get added from time to time so thats good! We love it.
Overall, we like the different puzzles offered. Our only major complaint is the size of the grids. There is a lot of wasted open space, so why not enlarge the grids so we don't need a magnifier on the 30X30 grids?! Also, we'd like all the x's to fill in the row or column when all pieces are there. It's a nice feature in other games that saves us some time.
Love the app so much! Just keep making more please, they're so addicting.
This is the very first time we write a review. Just need the game updated more often. The other suggestion is gonna be that it would be better if player can zoom in the puzzle cuz our eyes get blurry after playing for a while. Great game tho.
LOVE the joypad function! Revolutionary! But there aren't enough easier puzzles. The puzzles higher than 25 are way hard and too small to see.
Our friends and we play this game daily. Never has let us down.
We love this game! It's the best nonogram app out! We used to play it, delete us app, re-download it to reset it and play it all again! Recently this has not worked and every time we re-download it, a good number of our completed puzzles show as already completed. This is so disappointing! Please please please program a reset button in.
Pros: countless free nonogram puzzles of differing difficulties from small to large. Super easy to use interface. D-pad feature for solving larger puzzles so your big fat fingers don't constantly hit the wrong square Cons: you can't zoom in so the large puzzles take a toll on the ol' peepers. Difficult to judge where the darker 5×5 outline is for when you want to make a really long line.
This is, without a doubt, the best picross (or nonogram, whichever you prefer) game we've played, and we've tried most of them. Intuitive controls, huge puzzle library, and actually decent image design. 6/5.
