Ive been able to open the app, register a user name, but every time we click on Name That Movie or Shuffle the game crashes. We were able to do the poll link about modern movie star and likable characters but it crashed again before the third category opened. Ive opened the app 4 times and its crashed 4 times!! Its never been open longer than 5 minutes! Id say you have some more bugs to work out!! Only getting a one star until we can actually play the game.
We love movies and love trivia games. This trivia game is dedicated for movie lovers and because of that its got a great depth to play in many different ways to play. It also looks amazing. Already recommended to all our friends which we think playing against our friend could be a great feature to have for this app.
If you are a movie fan, this is the ultimate game for you. The app has multiple trivia-type games and keeps us engaged for hours. We cant think of another game that is so much fun each game offers you multiple types of gameplay such as quest, daily and even multiplayer mode! We love the graphics and the different types of mini-games you get which we find very engaging and fun. Its a great way to spend our time at home – its also a great way to know and learn more about movies youve not seen and remember the ones you have.
Love it, but sometimes it crashes when selecting certain features.
This app is super fun…when it loads. Ive had to delete and reinstall this app a few times just to play. Its the best movie trivia app out there, just needs a few things fixed.
Every time theres an image from Thor: The Dark World, thats never an option. The options are always other Marvel movies. Sure Dark World isnt anywhere near the top of the Marvel movies, but that doesnt mean Noovie should try to wish it away by pretending it doesnt exist or suggesting the images are to other Marvel movies.
We cant even do more than 1 round of voting without the app crashing. The bugs need a serious fix ASAP. We love this game but its not even playable anymore.
Great movie trivia, fun and easy to play.
So we downloaded this after we saw the ad at a theater because we LOVE movies. But there are quite a few problems. We love the idea of the app but in multiple of the games we played they would have a picture up that wasn't from the movie they said it was or the pictures just wouldn't load. They also didn't have all the avatars they claimed they had, they actually only have a few. We love the idea but if you guys would just fix those problems we think it could be a really fun game.
We LOVE the trivia and how its based on the photos. Our new fav app.
We enjoy this app, though we have had problems with it crashing and not wanting to start. If there is something wrong, Id say that sometimes the trivia bits themselves are misspelled or have bad grammar. Nothing a bit of proofreading wouldnt fix.
Navigating this app is like swimming through molasses in winter time, with a semi tied to each leg, Andre the giant holding your left arm and The Rock on your right arm. That simile got away from us a bit, but the point is, its slow. Also sometimes images dont load, so itll ask which actor played [character] and your choices are 1, 2, or 3 Plus, if we forgot to mention, its very slow.
It wont allow us to put our name as a username although we followed the guidelines. Automatic fail. Now we have the pleasure of u subscribing to all the bs.
We could do without the box office hero bits. A films performance at the box office is the last thing on our mind. Its unnecessary, especially when there are those who adjust for inflation. There has to be a better way to dictate popularity of a film besides the money it did or did not make. For instance: whether or not a film achieved cult status or something. There are films that didnt make money when they first released, but were deemed classics years afterward. We dont know, its just a thought.
This app is broken. In more ways than one. A few times we saw a picture, guessed the right movie, and it said incorrect. Then it said the answer was a wrong movie. Another way is, occasionally having the same movie title twice in the multiple choice. Third and final, and this is less frequent, itll show a movie photo. Ill choose the right movie for the photo. Itll say its wrong, but say something not even related to the question. A romcom photo appeared, we chose the correct movie, and when it said we were wrongit said we had chosen the wrong highest grossing movie, and that the answer was Avengers: Endgame. The question wasnt Whats the highest grossing movie? But also, Avengers: Endgame isnt the correct answer anymore. We know we saw this app updated as recently as a month ago, but bugs like these are why Ive never used this app more than a few minutes since its inception.
It's an okay game, but it's not very well made. The time will say 30 seconds but really it's 30 seconds minus however long it takes for each little animation to finish. Some posters will have the answers to the question on them. And some questions only have a few answers available so they just repeat.
We agree with others saying the format is good. Its very user friendly. HOWEVER, sometimes the correct answer isnt an option, 50% of the time it doesnt say what the answer is when you get it wrong (it displays nothing), and when it doesnt give said answer it displays trivia for a different movie. This is a cash grab, not an actual trivia game.
We will only drop a review for an app or game if its top notch. With that being said, we cannot get enough of Noovie Trivia! Ill be honest, at first we thought it would be a game with gotcha mechanics, and if you get to a certain level it would force you to subscribe or buy in game currency to move forward. Well, this was definitely not the case. There are various games to earn points to move forward, and claiming your rewards to earn even more to advance further. A lot of movie trivia games Ive come across can be so outdated, only listing somewhat recent and older titles. Noovie Trivia is completely up to date with their catalog of questions, Ive come across several questions of movies released this year alone. We love that they have so many different trivia game types and daily challenges, not just multiple choice questions for every single question. Even though we just came across this trivia game over the weekend, we still cant believe Im just finding out about it now. Im blown away that its completely free, with zero ads. We havent put it down since we downloaded it. If youre a movie buff like us, and likes to strengthen your movie knowledge Noovie Trivia is where its at! Note to the developers: Thank you for putting out such a great trivia game that is up to date with current movie titles! Its probably the best movie trivia game Ive had the privilege to play on our phone. Your hard work and dedication really shows, and you can see how much love and attention to detail youve put into this game. We really love the trivia facts after each question too, really awesome touch! Thanks again, Ive shared it with almost 10 people already! Cant wait to see what else you add to this awesomely entertaining trivia game.

We love this app we mostly like the motion pick butit wont get past the loading screen. We wait and wait but nothing comes up. Please fix this problem. We keep uninstalling and restalling it again and the same problem keeps happening. Please fix this. Thank you.
Enjoy it but right now we think it is glitching and only giving 10 seconds in quest mode which for matching is impossible and the avatar store isnt loading.
As a cinephile, we love taking these pop quizzes in our free time, but the marketplace is down at the moment and there isnt really a reward if it isnt up. Please try fixing this as soon as possible! Thanks.
Super fun and appreciate the daily activities. Only problem is as more decks pop up, old ones disappear before getting to complete them.
Its a very entertaining game for movie lovers. We wish we could select an avatar picture though.
We haven't been playing for long, just about a week or two. We got to Level 5, and that has stayed the same. The problem is our progress has completely reset on all of the name that movie map quests, which are our favorite mode to play. Is this supposed to happen or is it some glitch.
We really really love playing this app we know some of the movies its fun playing against people and seeing pictures of characters that we know we even know the names of some movies. But there was one part thats annoying us. For some strange reason it logged us out The good news is we were able to log back in but all of a sudden it logged us out again why is the app keep doing that.
First time leaving a review but we feel like our opinions need to be said. This game is super fun if you like trivia and are also a movie buff. But we have some major complaints! Since we started playing months ago Ive noticed that there are times that we dont receive popcorn that Ive won. Ive contacted the Noovie support and theyve been good about adding popcorn that Ive earned but we feel like we shouldnt have to keep constantly emailing them every time we dont receive the popcorn that Ive earned. Theyd be getting an email almost every week which is inconvenient on both ends. Alsomy biggest gripe is something that happened just recently. One day we opened up the app and a connection error popped up. After we closed it several things happened. It reset us back to Level 1, we lost all our popcorn and all our avatars that we earned and paid for with our hard earned popcorn. All of our progress, achievements and friends list were still there tho. We contacted the support team again and explained what happened. They replied back and claimed that we were cheating and that we earned like 80,000 popcorn in 15 min. Which is ridiculous! We dont even know how to do that! Plus why would we waste our time hacking some random app! We enjoy earning popcorn the hard way! So we replied back saying that we didnt cheat and that we didnt notice any major increase in our popcorn. We even told them that we didnt even care about getting our popcorn back. We just wanted to get back to the Level we were on and to get our avatars back! We worked hard to get the Iron Man Gauntlet! Which costs 999,999 popcorn by the way. After that we havent gotten any reply back. Fun gameterrible support.
But the daily question for the last month has only been horror movie related, so basically the movie trivia apps daily question is pretty much specific to one genre and doesnt even attempt to include literally any other movie ever that wasnt horror, would love it if they randomized the daily question again.
We just downloaded this game. Played it. Then it stops our game and tells us that the FREE TRIAL IS OVER. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
The way its advertised in the theatre we thought id get to play on the big screen with others in the theatre. Just a glitchy game app about movies. Not our thing.
It about movie quiz like test it has 10000 through 900000 movies like horror action funny other like missions impossible and others like the NUN 2 and last about Star Wars.

We love playing , our only issue is the shuffle quest mode is stuck and we cannot advance! Tried restarting phone then uninstall then reinstall, nothing works.
Ive been playing Noovie Trivia for a while and we are loving it! However, after we add our friends we cannot play with them one on one or as a group and we REALLY WANT TO!! We really hope you were planning on adding this feature Noovie. Or maybe you have an we dont know how to initiate an added friends match. Please help.
The app is set up in portrait mode, but that makes the text harder to see for people that are blind or have visual impairments. Maybe provide options for landscape mode and enlarged text. The games are not as much fun if you cant see to play them.
As fun as it is, we used to have a million popcorn but we dont know if there was an update but we went down to 100,000 popcorn.
We downloaded the app, signed up and everything and then the notice pops up by using the app. You agree to our privacy policy in terms of use. It wont let us exit out of that little window. Wont let us click anything on the screen. What a real bummer.
If you advertise a trivia game where you can play against your friends then you better be able to PLAY AGAINST YOUR FRIENDS. Picture in the app store displaying this feature is so misleading. The only ability you have to interact with your friends is through the leaderboard. Literally who in their right mind would consider that multiplayer with friends?? Imagine if Call of Duty said play against your friends! On an ad for their new game and then when it comes out the only way you can play against your friends is by comparing your campaign stats to your friends. Stop misleading people. Delete that picture from the preview in the app store.
Download the app and as soon as you click on it, it shuts down. Waste of a possibly good app.
Every time we try to launch, its keeps crashing. Needs fix. Still crashes..please fix it.
The Shuffle section constantly freezes. Ive brought this issue up many times. Always the same answerit will be corrected soon. Dont waste your time.

Its a pretty fun game but some of the answers arent really correct. They showed a screen shot from the first Shrek but the answer they accepted was Shrek 2. They also have multiple movies from a series sometimes so its hard to guess exactly which movie its from when there are so many in a series.
We really like this game. Not just standard trivia questions and it covers a wide variety of films. Only problem is it loads very slow at times as well as freezes up so we have to exit then reenter.

Game freezes pretty often. Sometimes a hard restart of the app fixes it. Sometimes not. Writing is not by a native (American) English speaker, and offers occasionally wrong answers. Other than that, its pretty fun.
We really enjoy playing movie trivia, and this app has many ways to play. But for the last few weeks its hard to play because it keeps bombing out to the desktop on our iPhone.
This latest up date keeps crashing we cant play name that movie in any category without the game crashing we after every question. Motion picks kept kicking us out as well really hope you get this figured out!! This is one game Id really hate to stop playing.
Could be so awesome, five stars for sure, except it crashes every few minutes.
