The basics of the game principle come from the adventure genre. The goal of the game is to leave the place where you are trapped. This task requires skill, patience, and logical thinking from the player. This place is usually a room that has at least one locked door and holds some items and hints.

This game is great, its a good mix between hard and easy and there are very few ads. It is a tad dark, but other than that its very nice.
We love this game! Kind of spooky and atmospheric, the puzzles are just difficult enough to enjoy solving them without getting too frustrated and just giving up.
We would love to see you make games for consoles!
Obnoxious graphics, that would have looked great in the early 80s. The graphics are so poor, the app has to identify the objects for you with text descriptions. A button to turn the room 90 degrees really?! Having played similars apps with beautiful and inmersive graphics, we couldnt stand NOX for more than one level.
We can not express how wonderful playing this was. The story line was intriguing and easy to follow. The end really ties it all together and we loved that we wasnt just one room after the other. PLEASE PLEASE make another escape room like this one!!! It was so awesome. We loved it! We highly recommend getting this but the age rating is reasonable. It can be a bit scary. Again, this was the BEST virtual escape room we have ever played!
This is a fun and engaging game. We like the spare graphics and navigation. We thought the touchscreen interactions were not as responsive as Id like and it sometimes took several tries to get an action to work. This made it take longer for us to solve a couple of puzzles. Perfect blend of challenging puzzles that were not so hard that it was frustrating. We highly recommend our favorite escape room game so far.
This is genuinely one of our favorite mobile games ever. The gameplay, story, and depth of it is just . 100/10 would recommend.
To be honest the game is really good. The puzzle part is really interesting and made us felt concerned when we were playing. We love the story the whole game told, but we still think maybe its too simple so that we cant feel it. Anyway, as a Chinese , we truly hope game developers can translate these texts into Chinese in the future.
This game was honestly so much more than we expected. The graphics were cute and the puzzles were fun. Yea, it couldve used a bit more story building like some have said but the fact that this game is fully free is wild for how in-depth it is!

Loved this game difficult enough to be into it but easy enough not to give up. It has wonderful graphics and the game was overall very fun. The mysterious vibe was awesome and highly recommend keeping the sound on. It had few ads and we really got into it. And all the puzzles made sense and whenever it got hard, theres always hints. Anyway, love this game and definitely going in our top 10.
We enjoyed this much more than we thought we would. It was a pleasant experience. The hints helped a lot. Closer to the end in the lab we got confused but a google tutorial helped us. We loved the atmosphere and the graphics <3.
This is much better than get aCC_e55 which we saw it compared to. The story for one is actually there, the puzzles follow a sequence of logic and continuity. We liked the story, we wish there was a bit more but it was appropriate, not too long not too short. At times the game felt a little linear but Im glad for the most part especially at the beginning it was less that way. We really dont like linear games that feel more like 3d stories than games we would recommend this game. We just played get access and compared to that this is great so maybe Im seeing it through some rose colored glasses but Id had this game for a while, over a year, we just hasnt had a chance to play through more than a few rooms until recently. We would play another game this developer made. If they could change some things like making the story less linear and have more paths to explore down and get more involved with the story that would be even better.
We had a lot of fun playing, the puzzles ranged between pretty easy to figure out and very difficult to figure out. We really liked that the hints didnt give the whole puzzle away, as we’ve played ones that have done that before and we’ve actually found it irritating, it was nice to check the hints just to see where we needed to be and we could get little hints every now and then but still be allowed to figure it out by myself for the most part, was very nice. We did not find out until much later in that we had the ability to fast travel to different rooms in the map which was very nice when we did find out. We did like the story that it was portraying at the end, it was a bit dark and sad but it was a nice ending nonetheless. And we dont know if it was intentional but whenever we clicked on a certain one of the trophies, it would not let us go back to the main screen we had to close out of the entire game, but because of the theme of the game and story we actually thought it was very fitting so if that was intentional we think it was a good addition if not it was still a nice kind of a spooky or creepy addition that went along with the story. Aside from that we had absolutely no problems playing this game. The ads were few and far between and they didnt really take us out of the game very much which we appreciated a lot. If these devs make another game thats similar or catches our attention we will definitely be checking it out because from this at least it seems like theyre trying to put out quality games. We would definitely recommend to at least try it out if youre curious and see what you think.
We were playing this game for a while and our dad is afraid of horror game but then we finished and we finally looked the description and noticed that it saids dark secret which we knew this escape game was horror but our dad wasnt even afraid of it even tho it had the darkest secret.
Lots of puzzles. Great story line.
It took us a minute to find out that they provide hints in case you get stuck which is really helpful since often tule other games make you pay for it. There were some bits that were hard to get through the help of hints really payed off. The storyline was great. Best escape room on this store by far.
This was AWSOME but we want a part two where you get to experience your childhood and you pick whether your a girl or boy (bc Sam is a Unisex name) and you get to meet your mom and everything you find is explained (also creators pls respond)
We’ve been playing this game for a couple of days now, and we will say that it gets pretty addictive. The atmosphere is great, the puzzles are challenging, and the art style of the game is beautiful! Amazing game with minimal to no adds (add duration is just longer) each puzzle is unique and all connected. For an app, this game has in depth structure and the feeling of being immersed into the world. The end narration brings the aha moment to lite.

We were looking for an escape room type game, but we didnt expect this one to be so good. This game is full of amazing lore and a beautiful storyline. Perfect for a rainy afternoon. 10/10 Highly recommend this game.
When we first got this app, we thought it was just going to be something that we would do to pass the time. Now you cant see us off of it! It keeps you on your toes and it always leads you to more questions!

We beat this game in 24 hours, it was addicting and we couldnt stop. It got us thinking and we love the thrills and the creeps it gave us. The overall message of the app was epic, and the individual first person puzzles were great too. Not to mention, the amazing and unique graphics which the 3D cubic interactive aspect made the game even more lovable. They even had fast travel between rooms. Thank you for an epic game!
We are a fan of escape rooms and pretty/clean game graphics, so when this game popped up we decided to give it a try, expecting a typical escape the room type game. Nope! This game blew away our expectations with a lovely story, challenging yet logical puzzles, great music, a few spooks, and a satisfying end. The art is wonderful, the sound design is very pleasing, great choice in music. You can tell a lot of time and care went into this. 10/10, would play again!
This is the most beautiful game we’ve ever played. The story telling was amazing with hints of foreshadowing that really brought it all together. Honestly, we did use a bunch of the hints when we got stuck but thats another thing we love about the game. It doesnt require you to watch an ad to play and gives you enough to help you completely complete the mission. The animation and rooms were absolutely amazing we loved every last bit of it. The ending was so good we shed a tear. To some it may be overwhelming but we think it was perfect.
This is not an easy game but it is so worth it. The puzzles are manageable and the hints dont require watching ads. There are a few ads that pop up every once in a while, but definitely not enough to restrict gameplay. The storyline is mysterious but well put together. Overall Im super happy with the game.
We have been on the hunt for some good puzzle games that have great puzzles, but also arent mind boggling boring. Let us tell you, its hard! Thats why we were so happy when we found Nox. Not only does it have hard puzzles, but it also has an intriguing story. There arent too many adds, and overall, we really enjoyed this game!

Recently people have been complaining about ads and we think there is a lot of ads but for every game we played we dont know if its something wrong with our Wi-Fi or some thing but if we want to hint, we dont have to watch an ad! This is a beautiful story and its very dark. It reminds us a lot of our childhood like exactly what happened when we were that little. And its an amazing story. It makes sense. Its super cool and with every clue why cant we get our stomach and our stomach twists waiting to see what scary thing will happen next. Its an amazing story line and we couldnt recommend enough. This is one of the best games ever and it doesnt cost money.
We think this is like the first review we’ve ever written but this game was just so good we had to write one! The story, the graphics, the game play, overall it’s simply wonderful! We cannot express just how much we adore this game! It’s not often a find something as interesting as this so when we saw it we immediately downloaded it and was NOT DISAPPOINTED !! This was by far one of the best escape games we’ve ever played! The graphics are amazing and the animations are smooth. The plot is also very captivating!! The puzzles are a good level of difficulty too.
We love this game so much. Its the perfect length and the music, sound design and atmosphere and gorgeous. The graphics are simple but complex. Our only complaint was that the puzzles werent consistent. Many of them had clues that could be found throughout the house to solve them. But there were a few with absolutely no logical explanation that no one can figure out without a walkthrough. (And the walkthroughs agree- most of them had some kind of comment about how no one could figure that out without looking it up, lol.) aside from those few oversights we found this game beautiful, chilling, stimulating, and very fun! Well done!
This game was such a great experience for us, and had overall pushed us towards this genre of simple puzzle games. The mainline story was however simple, but leaves room for interpretation of the player. The visuals are simple, yet eye-catching and overall presents a high quality game with unique mechanics involved within it. Although despite the majority of great things about it, id advice about the videos ads that can interrupt unexpectedly when moving rooms. Though it did bother us for quite sometime, it didnt spoil the general gameplay. Would recommend this game for whoever wants a simple game with puzzles to solve. Hope you can experience a great time with this game! :-)

Ok, so we read the other reviews, yeah not so well some people didnt like it for the gameplay. BUT, we actually loved it, the ending story was so well thought out and the clues to get each room unlocked, its not really an escape room but more like a mystery solver? The only problem with this game is the ads. Oh our god we wish they would remove the random pop up of 10-30 sec ads that you have to watch when moving into a new room after some minutes. Gameplay was a bit confusing and had to look up a tutorial but it was great nonetheless.
After we beat the game we looked at the screen and it showed that we were 98% completed. And we seem to be missing 2 display cases despite looking everywhere for them. Was there a reason for this or am we just too stupid to find them.
The snow globe with 7 eyes crashes our game. We think its from the child’s room. It doesnt appear a text below neither. The game gets stuck there. We restart the game to play.
We play point and click puzzle games and escape the room games because thats what we want to do. At some point in this game you will find a gameboy and have to complete the game to continue. Im sure its easy but we deleted the Nox game as soon as it became apparent that playing some flying shooting game was required to move on. We sat through a lot of ads to get there.
This game has been pretty great, up until the dart board part. Graphics are amazing, storyline is incredible, and the puzzles are a lot of fun. We got to the part where you have to play on the game boy to get the solution for the dart board, and that was pretty easy. We threw the darts to each section that we were supposed to, in the correct order, and nothing happened. We thought maybe we were hitting the wrong ones? So we went online and watched a bunch of tutorials and walkthroughs and did everything they said to do. Threw the darts in the exact order all of the videos told us to and nothing. We repeated this process many times, still thinking we might be doing something wrong. In every one of the videos, they would throw the darts in the correct sequence, and the dart board would fall. However, when we did the exact same thing they were doing, nothing happened. We tried restarting our iPhone a couple times, and even closing the app and reopening it. Every time we got the same issue. This would have been an amazing game if we couldve actually completed it.
Its like a worse version of Tiny Room Stories.
Oh god, this app just drives us crazy. Its not interesting, it has some absolutely idiotic ideas. And, we gave up on the optimization 0/10.

We literally could not play for more than a couple minutes because ads started popping up and even after waiting for them to end it would not let us return to the game.
Theres rarely any ads, only after significant plot points. Also if you need hints, go to your inventory and click the question mark icon! No ad needed for hints :) and the main menu is interactive!!!
