Community Insight:
Sudoku is fun but can get boring. Number Sums is much more dynamic and can keep interest longer. It really helps with improving speed and accuracy of basic math. Issues are – ADs become much more frequent as levels progress to the harder ones to the point where you almost have to buy it, and just when it has you in its clutches. We were surprised to see that it cost $10. We almost never buy games, but this one got us. Unfortunately, after purchasing at around level 25, it became harder and appears to force you to have to guess – seems there are no solutions without guessing, but that could just be us missing the solution. By level 45 we had to delete and reinstall the game to reset to the beginning. If its the case where they present boards where the only option is to guess, that is bogus! No good, and they should delete those boards. Overall tho, its a great game and worth the cons in our opinion.
We first need to say that we love this game, and we have several games from this developer. We do have a few small suggestions for accessibility, though. We would like to see the toggle options have it be where maybe the circle button is one color when selected and then if you toggle it so that its the erase button, its a different distinct color. Im always losing hearts because we think its on one but its actually the other. Another suggestion would be maybe to be able to select a number at the top of a column to highlight the whole column to make it easier to see, the same for rows. With the larger boards, we sometimes dont see it if theres two of the same number a few squares apart so we dont count it and we lose a heart. Other than these couple of updates, we cant say enough how addicting the game is.
So, we started playing the game and thought it was really fun. As we played, we thought we solved the first level, and when to advance, we could not. We restarted the app and still no luck. We left a 1 star review and deleted the game. We also reached out to customer support, and they kindly replied back that you not only have to solve the puzzle but also erase unused numbers. Once we did that, we advanced. The game is fun, hopefully no one else was as confused as us.
Great game. Calm and relaxing but still a little challenging. One point of feedback (and Im happy to see reviews and comments are read) is Id like to see a dark mode. Sometimes we play a round or two (or five) before bed but the white background feels a bit bright. Maybe the setting already exists but we cant figure it out.
This game is pretty fun! Its a combination of sudoku and 2028. Try it.
We have purchased several of your games and love them all. This is now our go to. Your support was not helpful on an issue we have though. On the first try challenge, which is very hard to do for 32 puzzles without using a life. We finally did it but the award was the same as when we had to use lives. If we complete it having to use a life we get a silver medal thingy. We were excited to make all 32 on our first try but then the award was the same silver one. Is this by design? If so, a gold one should be awarded if you are one of the few who make all puzzles on first try.
The game is fun and makes us think which is great.
"Hello, thank you for the feedback! Kindly note that there is only one possible solution for each puzzle. There can't be situations where there are two valid solutions. You are mistaken. We have seen it come up like that at least 5 times. We get to the last choices and there are 2 seta with identical end results – except on 2 of the 3 we picked the one that ended the puzzle. Give us an email and we will send a screenshot next time.
Very fun and challenging but then there started being an ad during the puzzle. It throws off your concentration. Please remove that ad so annoying. Other then that a good game.
Played this game like mad for about 4 days and then ads, ads, and more ads. The same developers have a Sudoku game with about 3 short ads per game. This app had about 12 ads per game. Deleted and moved on to a better app.
Been playing for over a month now and we really like it! We decided to go ahead and pay the one time $9.99 fee for no ads. The ads weren't overly terrible. We just decided we will be playing it long-term so we paid to cut the ads off.
Very much enjoy this game. We would very much like to see more competitive scoring. 1 star for completing a puzzle, 3 stars for completing a puzzle with one mistake, 5 stars for completing a puzzle with no mistakes.
Great game and very challenging. Is there a way to link our progress between our iPhone and iPad? We use our iPhone when Im on the go and would like to continue where we left off and vice versa.
We really enjoy this game, its very addictive. We could play this game for hours. They make other fun games with similar concepts and the same design. Theyre are always tournaments and challenges going on, along with daily challenges too! Our only issue with this game is the ridiculous amount of adds. Theyre typically only a few seconds but happen every few minutes. Im seriously considering buying the no adds version. Although the $10 price tag is pretty high for an we phone game.
Love your game && others by the same developer however please change the font back to what it was!!! The numbers look out of place with this new font. -sincerely someone who plays your games for hours a day :).
When you want to occupy your entire brain.
Before we pay the 9.99 for no ads, how many levels are there.
We love this game and play it daily. But the game doesnt behave consistently. Our iPad installation adjusts the totals to reflect the remaining cells (with correctly identified cells disappearing); while more recent installations circle numbers and add a subtotal to the target values. (FWIW, we prefer the older version; but be that as it may, we dont understand why the installations behave differently. We cant find a setting. But its still a great app.
Great game. More addictive than sudoku. Helpful in improving focus.
Love the game, been playing it for a while already. Did want to add a suggestion though, is there a possibility for a dark mode? We sometimes play at night and it can be a bit harsh on the eyes, so a dark mode would be a great addition. Thats about it though, good stuff.
Ill let you know after Ive played for awhile.
We absolutely love this game! We play it every night and whenever we get bored and dont feel like doomscrolling. The ads are a bit much but we can overlook that, theres just ONE thing, no dark mode! We like to play this before we go to sleep, and it just blinds us so much. Please please!! Add a dark mode, other than that its great.
We love this game !!! Im on level 464. But please add dark/night mode!! Its so bright at night.
Enjoyable. Repetitive. Dont really understand the events. We like the little logic itch this game scratches.
Love this game. Math skills but most of all logic.
Love this numbers game. Just need some of the numbers to be a bit bigger.
2nd Review: we never write second reviews but in this case, its warranted! Not only is this game worth every penny and one of the simplest logic games that is wonderfully addicting but the development staff are responsive! KUDOS ALL AROUND! This game is superb and worth purchasing. Really easy to play and it keeps your reasoning functions in good condition. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: 1. Please fix the WRITE and ERASE buttons. Either turn them into one button which toggles or stop the toggle that is currently enabled. Its counterintuitive that both buttons toggle and leads to many senseless errors. 2. Please consider altering your scoring to credit two points for completing a puzzle with no lives lost. That will encourage much more careful play by rewarding more complete analysis.
You have to use logic and math to clear the board. It oddly reminds us of sudoku but with math! Our only suggestion to make the game smoother would be to add an option to settings to toggle on or off to auto complete a row once the total is circled or when the remaining numbers add up to the total. It would speed up our times and make it more fun for us.
Love the game & the workout it gives our brain. Will a Dark Mode version be forthcoming.
Im playing a ton more of this than we expected to want to do. Puzzles are quick, easy, and if you need to stop in the middle it saves exactly where you were. Theres a few quality of life features, however, that are sorely lacking. 1. Change the color of the last square we touched, please! When an ad pops up it can be hard to remember where you were and its annoying to have to figure things out again instead of clicking the rest of the line you were on. 2. Dont mark an error until we try to touch a number after the mistake. Sometimes we forget whether we were on the pencil or eraser. Again, if the last square is colored (maybe red for erase or green for pencil with the number grayed out) we can check our own mistakes. 3. Let us tap the eraser mark on a row or column to erase all the remaining numbers in that row. 4. And most importantly, if all rows and columns are either empty or showing erasers, please just clean up the rest of the board for us. We just won. Dont make us feel like we have to do chores to celebrate.
Love the game, but a couple of ideas to improve the players experience: First, offer a rewardcomplete a number of levels, get a free hint. Secondly, let us choose the difficulty of the puzzle we want to play.
We enjoy this game, we wish there were less ads and we wish you could zone in to the screen to see the smaller numbers.
It's fun to try to find each key number in order Thanks.
We play every day. The game hones your addition skills – the graphics are a bit dull but otherwise we would highly recommend.
We really enjoy this game, it is challenging for our brain and not too hard to get frustrated. However, the number sins in the colored cells are so small that it is extremely difficult to read them. Also, every mistake after the 2nd ends up in an ad. Then you also get ads in celebration. Im used to ads, but its excessive and takes away from the fun of the game.
Love this game so much! However, we do wish there was a dark mode so we can play at night without straining our eyes so much.
Its a great number thinking game, that we do like, minus all the ads!!! Way too many of them! If you understand the over all part of suduko youre probably going to understand & like this game as well.
Enjoy the game, annoyed with ads that pop up as awards for solving puzzles.
Its a fun game and we can get past the amount of ads, but why are there no rewards? We figured youd get more hints when you completed events or something but you dont get anything, and you have to watch ads for hints. Also, only 2 hearts when youd think there would be 3. The game would be much better with rewards.
Overall great, but progress isnt cloud saved, so our progress is all on our phone, and some numbers are hard to read. If it has cloud saved progress so we could also use our tablet, Id probably pay to remove ads.
We really really like this game. Its amazing how compelling it is to keep playing and Im really obsessed. Start playing it five days ago and Im over level 100. As others said the ad numerous and disrupt the flow we would gladly pay for an ad free version, but we dont see that as an option. Consider doing this please.
Awesome numbers logic game.would prefer the toggle button not changing when pressed but have adapted.recently having the game lock up requiring a completed rebook to fixany suggestions.
This game is great. We love solving the puzzles. However, this game is ad heavy. We understand ads here and there but if we open the app and Im greeted to a 30 second ad, its gonna stop us from playing. We get running ads but we didnt even play a level yet. Then we try to play a level and Im greeted with another ad.
Have you ever notice how, say the first 20 levels, there are few, if any, ads? Then slowly, you start getting adds, with the frequency of them is more often. We are in to level 570, thats how muck fun it is. But the ads come during the game about every 6th move. Disrupting our chain of thought. So, we will probable shell out the $10 version to avoid the ads.
We like this game, enough so that we splurged on the (not cheap) ad removal. But we want to echo those reviewers who have complained about the toggle switch. We feel like Im defusing a bomb sometimes with how careful you have to be, double checking to make sure its on the right setting before you click. This adds unnecessary pressure to the game. (Ill let ourselves get additional lives when our mistake really is because of the toggle switch. But we still havent figured out where those lives are coming from or whether theres a limit to how many one can request.).
Like most number games, this is great in scaling challenges that engage your mind! Our one complaint is that often similar colors are used next to each other and we make mistakes because we cant tell which group is which.
The cost to go ad-free seems really high. How many levels are in the game to know if the cost is worth it.
Super fun but WAY TOO MANY ADs. Its disappointing that after only 1 to 3 moves, you have to endure yet another ad. Thats why we took off a star from our rating.
Please make the game dark mode compatible. Even on the lowest phone setting it can be quite bright. Great game (if you pay the 5 bucks to remove ads). Minor annoyancethey need to spread out the events so there arent two simultaneous events followed by blocks of time with no events. Major annoyanceneeds a dark mode.
We love this game so much but please add dark mode! It would make it so much better.
