We hadnt actually played any games other than Pokemon Go in over a decade – we grabbed this to test the Nimbus+ controller we picked up. We have no words to properly express how much we enjoyed this game. We blitzed through it in 3 days and was sad when we finished it – so glad that the final save point is before the final boss, allowing us to access the time portal and go finish up a few things we had missed (those darned bloodstones!) we really hope for an equally awesome sequel!
This game was really fun. We hope they make Oceanhorn 3.
We have zero complaints about this game only wish it was longer. Truly a remarkable experience and has us super addicted. First game in a long time that has us hooked.
We like the game so far but would love the ability to chose what UI is displayed when using a controller. We have the PS Backbone but the game displays ABXY instead of the PS Icons. Its 1/22/2023 and we wanted to update our review. PS icons have been added and we are thrilled that the UI matches our PS Backbone controller. The fact that the Devs listened to and added this feature makes us happy. Thanks for the fantastic update and for listening to you players.
Since last update, the games control is now displayed on the bottom of the screen. Its unnecessary and VERY distracting especially in dark areas. Please add an option to toggle it on and off. Update: Made it to Arne Village and they disappeared! Cheers.

Alright this game is incredible! The details, the graphics, the animations, everything about this game is just chefs kiss! But we feel like the map should have some things that you can tap on to see what is where or the name of some locations. Having no way of knowing things cause most people do indeed skip the cutscenes, like us, for when we had to meet Master Mayfair in the tower, we never noticed the lever and was running around that area for days, Im not exaggerating, days. We skipped the cutscene that showed the lever and was stuck for so long. The Bloodstones too, very hard to get to sometimes and theyre always in places where you would never expect them to be in. This game is overall amazing and the storyline is so creative and sometimes Im stuck tryna find people to play Tarock with, such a cool card game! Overall, we would give a 4.5 star if we could do that. Great game!
Other than this game didnt not come with a fan switch for the captains mission, we’ve watch YouTube and their game had one but our game did not, please give us a fan switch so that we can get the second golden spear to defeat the giant turtle !!!!!!!!!!!!!
With the backbone controller this game is great!!

We like game styles like this. The setup feels more like a game youd play on a play station or an Xbox. Which is more like what we want to see for mobile gaming. Feels legit and doesnt feel so outdated.
The devs actually email us to fix a problem that we had, thats on top of the graphics and the smooth gameplay of this game. It looks like a AAA console game.
Oceanhorn 2 is the epitome of what an action/adventure/rpg game should be. Its as close to perfection as youre going to get. We loved the story, the game play, and the scenery is masterfully done. The only thing we want now is a part 3 that continues the adventure with the same graphics as this one. The 16 bit one they came out with does not appeal to us so please make a similar game!

This game is by far one of the most impressive graphics wise for an app game. Cool concept but we dont feel anything for this game, we feel like we hardly know the characters and sometimes the puzzle directions dont make a lot of sense. Also it would be nice if controller options were in the settings.
The game itself is a shameless BOTW ripoff, the voice acting, story, and character design is abysmal, and the goddamn ending was just utter trite, especially since it reset our progress after beating the game, so we couldnt run around and enjoy the open world after finishing the game. Our opinion, if you want to 100% the game, stop playing the story as soon as you upgrade your sword, get everything else done, then finish. Otherwise youre screwed.
Great ,amazing graphics! Only one thing, we can never figure out what on earth we are supposed to be doing. We are stuck at the water kingdom, we found SOMETHING, but we are completely unsure about what to do or how to open it. Like, maybe add some directions! IN ENGLISH, NOT RIDDLES, or something moderately clear?
Taking inspiration from a great game is great. Wishing you were that game is not. Everything about this wants so bad to be Zelda that it has no reason to exist. Could be a great game if they werent so afraid to have its own identity. Really undermines all the hard work just to be a blatant knockoff.

Playing with a PS5 controller and can only play games with invert Y. Is there a way to turn this on with the PS5 controller? Its driving us nuckin futz.
Can anyone tell us a personality trait of Master Mayfair? What about the robot Gen? What about Trin? Are they funny? Cranky? Anxious? Quirky? Nope. All plain as white bread. At least so far, we dont know anything personable about any of them and so we dont care about them. And what is this story? Trin crashes her ship and these bad guys follow her. Who are they? What do they want? Now where are we going? Why? Whats there? Who is even the main antagonist? What does our character even want? Its important to establish right away what your characters want and what is standing in their way from getting it. Also your main character should do things that make plot happen. This story does the opposite – the plot happens TO the main character. So, (at least so far in the game) we dont care about any of the characters or whats happening. Im just playing to play it. Which is just ok we guess. With all that said, the gameplay of Oceanhorn 2 does scratch that Zelda itch a lot more than we thought it would. The controls feel almost identical to how you control Link in 3D Zelda games. Im not a huge fan of how you have to click a separate button before you can throw an object, besides that, the gameplay feels really solid. Also, the graphics are beautiful. You can tell a lot of time and money went into creating this world and the environment. We cant give it 4 or 5 stars just yet, but therea a lot of potential here.
It has way to many time taking Puzzles and harder then you think combat.
Game has awesome graphics a fun storyline to it and the mechanics of upgrades leveling up and such feels very much like an RPG game. BUG: can re enter rooms and environments over and over again and hit vases and plants over and over again for unlimited money glitch.
Would be a fun game if we wasnt in a continuous loop on the train trying to get to the white city. The train is headed there. Talked to everyone on the train and its just playing in a loop.
Glitchy game at 2cd quest jet or Jed whatever that robots name is in the beginning wont hit the lever to go somewhere but he will go stand On the button to lift you up to get the chest.
The game is alright. The character animations of the character you play as are so stiff and lifeless. Whoever worked on this didnt put in the same energy as the art and UI team, cause the game looks great. This game would be absolutely amazing if our character didnt look like it was made from someone who looked up how to rig models on YouTube on the day of the job. Camera speed is also way too slow. Just give us a option.
Good game us and our fam beat it and its got a decent ending but DO NOT PLAY IT its a huge ripoff of botw even our fam ( who dont even know Zelda is the princess ) said this looks like a ripoff of the Nintendo game if you want a good game that isnt a rip off play took or botw and this game is SO buggy like wow, it crashes every ten seconds!!!!!!!! The card game has the worst rng design possible. Define what a coin flip should be like. If it is not 50-50, at least dont make it 99-1, but you did it, well done.
