A mudokon chosen by the fickle finger of fate, Abe was a first class Floor-Waxer for RuptureFarms who was catapulted into a life of adventure.
Late one night he overheard plans from his boss, Molluck the Glukkon, to turn Abe and his fellow Mudokons into Tasty Treats as a final effort to rescue Molluck's failing meatpacking empire!
Can Abe change the fate of thousands and rescue the Mudokons? Can he escape the dark recesses of RuptureFarms and the desolate, uninviting, and downright terrifying surrounding environment?

We just bought this game on our iPhone 15 pro max and it wont even open. Immediately crashes. Edit: it started to open normally after the first 5 or 6 tries.
We have played this game so many times throughout the years. It is awesome. :) so fun and challenging esp when you find all the "hidden" places and save all the Mudokons. :).
The cinematic cutscenes, the depth, the gameplay. Its a master piece. Theres no disputing the effort it takes to make such a great anti-hero / protagonist so like able. Abraham Lure is a great example what it means to be put in a position of power and influence for no particular reason. Labeled the savior of the mudokens, Abe is by far one of the greatest protagonists. He didnt choose the life of being martyr, he just happened to be pushed in that position. Personally, we prefer Munches Oddysee, but the story in all these games is what we thrive on.
We use to play this as a kid, and our heart was so happy to see this in the App Store. The graphics are even better, and the controls are super easy to get use to! Id love to see them put the 2nd one on here.
We never played it on PS1 but recently watched Lornes interview and just had to try the game made by such an insightful person. Definitely worth the buy! Cant wait to try it with a real gamepad though.
Omggg we use to love this game .. Something made us think of it so When we found it on here we had to buy .. Its worth it!! The controls are pretty good once you get the hang of it. Best trivia game ever with secret portals and levels along the way. Its a brilliant game.
Someone said controller is a must and we want to clarify this is absolutely not the truth. Also claimed big screen is a must, also false. We played on an iPhone 5 no controller for 2 years on every oddsworld game. Never had any issues and always loved it. Still play on a iPhone 7 but we miss our 5. Amazing games.
Im such a huge Oddworld fan and have been since the first game on PSX. This reimagining of Abes Oddysee is incredible. The new sounds, graphics, interactions, and gameplay is refreshing. Its like the entire game got a once over and it is a joy to play. We highly recommend New n Tasty for Oddworld inhabitants, and if you are new to the franchise, welcome in! Its time to get even with the odd.
We dont like how they made the originally 2D game into somewhat 3D. But overall great to be able to play this iconic game on mobile device. 10/10 would recommend.
We remember being so excited back in the 90s to play this game. Seeing it in the App Store, we were hesitant because we dont like a lot of the crossover, console to phone, games. The gameplay is usually tedious, and frustrating. That being said, this game is every bit as good as when we played it years ago. Incredible graphics, easy gameplay, just a beautiful game altogether. Download this game. Its nearly perfect.

Ive absolutely loved this series since we were a kid and our dad rented to original to play when he had us for the weekend. This version is so much fun and absolutely holds up. Ill buy any version of it so we guess Im biased.

This is a pretty good port to iOS of a game we loved o the ol PS1.
Im in shock that the full game is on here. Used to play this on ps2 and was our all time favorite. Awesome game, and controls are nice.
Our only issue is with the clumsiness of trying to control Abe with touch screen controls. Not really the apps fault, its just the nature of converting a controller based game to touch screen. It works, but takes practice and can be annoying.
This game takes us back to maybe 7th-9th grade going to a buddies house playing this, laughing and having good old time. Very worth the money.
Please tell us this is going to Apple TV…. We have Strangers Wrath and Munichs Oddysee, please add NewnTastey to this list! If its not in this version, please get Abes Exodus here too.

Needs elements from the original like the subtle stuff but quality makes up for this remake. Honestly we never give 5 stars but this game is solid asf.
Bought this because the reviews were good & graphics looked cool—WOW!! So glad we did!! Very impressed with the game all around; funny, slightly gory, many different puzzle styles–with puzzles inside of puzzles, hidden secrets throughout, haven't found a glitch yet—believe us, we could go on….but by now your tired of reading. We like this Odd World game/so much we went back & bought the other two without reading reviews; we're sure you will too ! ! Congrats to all who worked on this.

We love the OddWorld games. New and Tasty is a great haul over of a great game. The touch screen controls are great. We were eyeballing this game on steam but couldnt justify buying it. But on mobile its awesome.
As one of the people who played the original game in the 90s, we must say we are truly impressed by how it was transformed for the modern smartphone. While being to form and feeling it takes advantage of all the new capabilities of these devices and is elevated even higher, which is an impossible feat given the cult status that oddworld has achieved already. We are glad that newer generations will get to play and enjoy this great game the same way we did in the nineties.
We hope Oddworld keeps them coming. IOS started with good games but it's been hard finding console quality for a while now. So many games are short or mindless. This game is so so good, as are Munch's Oddysey and Stranger's Wrath (our fave). We played on an iPhone 5S, using touch screen controls only, and we thoroughly enjoyed this game. They did a fantastic job with this port, and the Quicksave feature helps squeeze in playtime even when life keeps distracting you.
This is by far one of the best series from our childhood. We dont know why people are complaining. We think its good and cant wait to play the others.
One of our favorite games! We think that the difficulty is perfect and the gameplay and graphics are wonderful. Making the elum jump seems to work inconsistently, but that might be us. Thanks for the outstanding game.
Has anyone else had issues with the sound? Worked fine the first 2 times we launched the app, but after that no sound at all. Checked all settings on phone and app, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No luck and the support tab doesnt work. So much nostalgia.
Beautiful artwork in foreground & background. Fantastic transitions. Controls are too close together and frustrating to use with our thumb or finger. The only effective way to use the controls is with the Apple Pencil. Im so glad this game is available to play again. Brings back great memories of us getting stuck and our wife suggesting solutions.
We love that we have this game mobile. It really is a very good game, but the graphics are lacking and it is fairly glitchy. Also many solutions require funding a switch, pulley or lever that can be hard to see on such a small screen. If you know and love this game than getting it on mobile to fool around with can be fun but if youve never played it we highly recommend a better version you can play on the big screen. Also controller is a must.

Loved this game back in the day. Little harder to play on the IPad. It gets more frustrating than the old controller. Overall, still love the game.
We cant ring the bell in one of the tests in paramonia temple . The bell doesnt seem ever to cooperate with chanting . How to solve this.
This game is great no matter how you slice it and the game deserves 5 stars. But for the mobile version we give it 4 Stars.
Excellent reboot to one of our favorite games of all time, but we dont understand why this isnt available as a TVOS app yet.
The audio didnt work and the controls dont match the timing of the game and it wasnt worth the money we spent on it.
The opening cutscene is really long-we mean long. We lost interest.
Love the game but Game Center achievements will not show completed. Locked reads above them and it shows 1% on most achievement badges.
Great game, phenomenal work on this remaster. However, we are plagued by one issue that has been present for a long time now. When launching the game using an external HDMI display, the game absolutely WILL NOT LAUNCH. Until it is fixed, our review stays at 3 stars.
There is a glitch in scrabania where you need to use a password for the rings and it does not work. Every time you do correct password the native mudokon says its wrong.
We really enjoyed the game tiller its started crashing in the middle of the game. Please fix it ASAP.
