Okay so hear us out. Im playing with a backbone 2nd gen. Im as well playing with an iphone 15 pro max or whatever the beet model of it is. Im also playing on all the best graphics with the in game brightness all the way up. ZERO PROBLEMS. So far our experience has been amazing, pretty much nistolgic. So why all the complaints? Must be because people playing on older models or whatever Works AMAZING for us! Thank you for a nistolgic game for $3! Will report back with problems if any lol.
We use to play this years ago on our Xbox 360. Finding this as iPad compatible was made our day. Took a little getting use to not having a hand held controller but man did playing it again make us smile. Please make more ODDWORLD games.
Great game and it plays just like it did on the original Xbox back in the day. Never thought Id see it on the App Store.
We remember having this on the original Xbox as a kid, Im 26 now and stoked to have it on our iPad. Runs great.
We forgot how funny this game is and how much satire is in it.
It is now crashing a lot. We hope the developer can update it so that it is reliable as this is a wonderful game.

Nostalgia for sure but we love this game, it still looks good and plays well. This vs the strangers wrath port is incredible, it just works so well but we would recommend having a newer iPhone. Dont expect flawless performance on anything lower than the 11 series.
This game is close to our heart. We used to wake up on the weekends and play this all day with our dad when he sued to live in the old condo. Very nostalgic, and the graphics are almost the same as the old Xbox ones. Had to buy it.
We missed this game so much, because this game brings back so many memories and we been trying to get this game back whenever we had the chance, we guess we found it lol, we love the creators of this game you guys made an amazing series that brings ppl back to the good ol' days. Thanks again.

This is one of our favorite games to play on our iPad it used to crash so we stopped playing. About two years later we thought Id give it a go again and now it works awesome.
Wry good classic and still holds up in terms of humor.
We remember playing this on the Xbox. Man it was fun and we barley knew what to do, but now that Im all grown up its a blast.
Been waiting for years for a remake and we have a iPad Pro and we couldnt ask for anything better 10/10 our favorite game since we were a kid 2001 baby.

We played this as a kid and the game popped into our mind yesterday. We couldnt believe our eyes when we saw it on the App Store!! We feel like a kid again and the graphics are amazing.
This is a must own for any iOS gamer who also grew up playing the oddworld games.
We absolutely LOVE this game! In our very humble opinion this was one of the best, most underrated games on the original XBox. We are SO happy to be able to play this again! Even if its a bit buggy. What a treat.

Everything that makes up oddworld inhabitants is innovative, super fun, mentally challenging and so immersive into a beautifully created world unlike any other game or movie franchise! Oddworld FOREVER.
We love the fact that we can relive a classic childhood game. Despite the controls, once you get used to them its just like the good old days. :).
The only reason its getting a 4 is because all three games crash randomly at different parts of the game in our cases very early on in the games and we Baugh the bundle for $6.99 but all in all really great games love them too boot it isnt working at the brewery to be it just kicks us off the game.
Please please pleaaasse patch the bugs, we cant get munch out of vykkers labs without it crashing out of the app. Our save point is literally the little body of water right in front of the doorway and every time we try to go through it, the app dies on us. Otherwise everything is great! It gives us so much nostalgia. Controls are easy to use, especially since theyre similar enough to the iOS port of strangers wrath and we just played through that one again. Pleaaassseeee do a quick lil update so we can finish the game :).
We like the game a lot and the graphics are really good. The only problem is the game keeps crashing on us we hope they can fix this issue soon. Its frustrating because you constantly have to save just to make sure you dont lose progress but it seems others are experiencing the same issues.
When we brought the game on our phone which we wanted to experience on game of the console although we dont own it sadly but instead we brought it on steam and it was only $2. We had fun playing through it and got attached to the game sadly though we got crashed in the brewery to be level. Yes multiple times the game will crash. We were playing as munch and we had a crashed when we were leaving the tunnel.
Can you please fix the game? We noticed that every time we press the X button it kicks us out. We cant even get past the first level without it crashing.
Mannnn this is our favorite game ever. But in the soon to be brewery level, theres literally one dead zone where we always crash and its unavoidable because we HAVE to jump there. Its just really annoying bc ive been trying to do this for two hours straight and it constantly does this. We might need to go back a level or two but this shouldnt even be happening. Still an 11/10 game tho. But is this fixable.

Love the game but we keep getting booted and have to restart game plz fix.
We love love this game and grew up playing it on Xbox, while its great to have on our phone ( and we do have an older gen IOS 8) our game wont go past a certain point on :Soon to be Brewery, and its frustrating! We were able to beat it once. Im not sure why the game wont let us pass these deadzones but we cant say how many times previously it has crashed when we enter a random spot and we either need to avoid it or start two levels back. Its frustrating because you have to always save to make sure that you dont have to lose all your progress.
It crashed several times at first, but quick saving as often as possible kind of negates that. Its a good port, just a bit buggy.
We Love this game so much! We do have one complaint tho. When in heavy action, the fps slows down and gets a little glitchy but still runs pretty decently smooth. We know that im asking for a lil much here, but a small texture enhancement would be great! Lol.
This game really needs to be played on a big screen. It looks and plays great on our phone and its unfortunate not available for modern consoles besides switch and PC so its great we have it here. Controller is a must. But definitely consider a bigger screen experience if you havent played through this prior and know all the solutions.

We love this game on Xbox but the phone adaptation isnt all we thought it would be. The controls are lackluster but the heart is still the same. Fantastic game.
The only glitch we experience is a messed up UI. Other than that, it runs pretty well.
No matter what we do, we cannot get past a certain area of the windmill in Brewery to Be. Every time Abe jumps from one area to another, the game instantly and reliably crashes. Please fix.

Love this game but we cant hear it.
We LOVE this game, the graphics are awesome it translates great on the phone version except one critical thing. It crashes all the time and since the game doesnt auto save sometimes you lose a lot of progress. So Im constantly saving but it still a royal pain to be playing and suddenly your not. If the crashing issue were fixed its a 5 star game but at this point its crippling.
We could take the random crashes with a lot of quicksaving as a counter measure, but there is no getting past this particular crash. Scaling the interior of the building in the named level lets us go up a 3-4 platforms but then immediately crashes on the jump to the center main platform. Theres just no more progress to be made. We tried as many things as we could to press forward but alas. Unfortunate as we were happily reliving our childhood up until this point :(.
We have a iPhone XS and then when we play the game kick us out please do something about Please.
