Community Insight:

Picked up the game for the first time and didnt set it down until our first character died an hour in. We have yet to see an ad, which is very pleasantly surprising. Mechanics are simple and take about 20 seconds to learn, but the game is fun! Id been playing for a while before we realized we could be using a LOT more strategy with how we moved and used up turns to avoid enemies or extra damage. Its cool that you kind of figure out little tricks as you get further in the level.

Contains a helpful tutorial, well designed gameplay, and no immersion busting adds or pay-to-win gimmicks. Even if it goes downhill from here, you cant beat Free. For what its worth, we expect the fun to continue.

No ads. Amazing and fun to play. Really easy to give it a 5 star rating.

Not too far in, but seems charming and not pay-to-win so far.

Easy controls, very straight forward. Love killing time with this game.

Pretty fun already, Ive had the game for only a little bit and we can tell that this is going to be a game that Im not gonna delete off of our phone.

This game is really fun and probably our favorite mobile game. We think they should add a character type that has a chance to gain more skill points when leveling up. Great game.

Just right in every way. Not too easy, not too hard. Not too much content, not to little. Always more to do but doesn't make you feel like you have to sit and grind it out. Its great offline and online. Also the developer, Jonathan Concepcion is great, very helpful and always improving the game and taking feedback.

Then there was the most recent update & now it wont even open cant even open it from within the app store. Smh.

Just a mindless grind in a minimalist environment. Theres no challenge here. We dont get why people like this.

You can see this app is not a cash grab it actually is a put together game and we love it.

We were just playing the game and we had a fun idea, what if when you kill a monster theres a chance they drop an item like snake drop snake fangs, bat drop bat wings, the fish people drop scales, stuff like that And then you could use them to make poisons or maybe items just a little idea But its a really fun game.

Love the pixel sprites. Combat and exploration are simple but engaging. Great time sink.

Everything is good except the ranking system. It counts the Fast Travel as step count in ranking. So if you are already got to 50,000 steps, you just skip to 50,000 with fast travel and viola, you are in top 10 in classic mode. The ranking should never count fast travel in at all.

Fun game, but pushes far too hard to allow tracking. We said no once, that should be the end of it, but it persistently asks to allow tracking. Quite annoying.

Play as necromancer, grind dungeon, count your kills, kill dragon, PLAY AS DRAGON, steamroll.

This game is very simple and captivate but pls fix the bug where pyromancer passive burn circle doesnt burn bosses :(.

Its a very basic game. Run around, kill monsters, lvl up and repeat. Its basic, but its good at what it does. We enjoy it. Ive tried some games that try to be all fancy and get very frustrated either with bugs or game isnt balanced or just developers over thinking things. This is a great time waster. Thanks guys.

Its a really cool retro mobile dungeon crawler. And it has the style of a gameboy.

This is a very nice game, and we'd suggest you try it. It's good for when you get tired of other games seeming too short-term, or limited by daily things. We hope they add more in future updates, it could use some more features and structure variety.

The game is great for retro fans. Easy one handed game play. Graphics are excellent. The soundtrack is perfect for this genre. We only wish the controls could be a little better. The on screen d pad is useless. If you dont touch it exactly in the right spot it doesnt recognize your input. Like SOTN. We often go the wrong direction using the other control scheme. But the game is great.

Love the retro, pixelated look. Also turned-based movement is low-stress and high reward. Great way to kill some time in between Zoom calls. Some notes: 1. Skill points (SPs) can erroneously be allocated to professional skills which dont improve, e.g. Anarchy doesnt improve beyond 1% per kill, but you can spend SP on it, etc. Players should have a way to approve SP allocation upon level up, rather than just touch-and-go-OOPS! 2. Necromancer should be able to move/attack just like the soul currently transcended, e.g. Transcended bat should be able to move over walls/obstacles, transcended dark mage should be able to range magic attack, etc. 3. Archer profession should include ability to snipe Ghouls while hidden. Would totally download OneBit today! Thanks.

Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun Very fun.

Except we wish it would have given a starting amount of diamonds to help new players with reviving.

This game is amazing and a variety of people would love this but we wouldnt say its for everyone and the only thing we would change about this game would be a bit more instructions.

The best mobile game we have ever played. If you love roguelikes, pixel art, or RPGs, you owe it to yourself to give this one a try. Very excited to see what this developer does next.

Im obsessed with this game. Its super fun and something to do to pass the time. It has adventure and mystery, it has everything we love in a game. Best download ever.

To be honest we think its a great game we have not been intruded on by ads or anything like that its great it gives us a d&d vibe you know but aside all that its a great game.

This game immediately feels like Im playing a classic its both simple but complicated at the same time its a nice time consumer when your board. Ive ran into few issues with the game and even if we did run into one it was very minor. Controls are pretty good and the overall movement and play style feels great and smooth.

We keep playing this game, and keep playing and keep playing…. It is grindy but we actually got rid of this game as it was keeping us up at night and now we have re downloaded it and am playing again, so ya, the rouge like elements of the game are awesome, its a great turn based strategy in a way and there is lots to keep you interested for a long time, do be careful with your life though, every time you pass 500 steps it is a bigger and bigger gamble, great time waster and great game, we hope this isnt the only game this dev makes.

We enjoy this game a lot. The simplicity of it is perfect. There are a lot of games we dont like because it has so many things we have to do at the same time. Keep it up guys! We love this.

On the outside it looks overly simple and not very fun, but download and play this game you will not be disappointed.

Level 100 is quite past the point where it gets repetitive imo and way after we delete the game. Prestige should be lowered to 15 and should work up to 100.

Game never loaded. Just stayed on grey screen.

We have never found an adventure game on ios that kept us interested long enough to stay on for more than an hour. Even if this game isn't at its full potential (which its definitely not) im still entertained. We think they could add alittle more variety to the enemies, loot or things you can buy. But im not saying im not happy with it. You guys made a great little game here.

This game is amazing. Our friend recommended it and we didnt think Id like this but oh our gosh its so fun. We like how its kinda a never-ending run but it ends if you want it to. Its also like an RPG with leveling up and skill points to level your character up and get skill points to level up health, damage, etc. There is also different characters like Knight, wizard etc. And each one is different, like wizard is high damage low health, Knight is low damage high health. There is no ads, only in-app purchases to get diamonds which can get you skins. Overall this a great game and we highly recommend it.

Its interesting for a while. Not a TON of replayability but some. Worth a play for sure, but dont expect a lot.

We Love this game we just got it yesterday. Every chance we got we played it. Just a few issues we wish there were villages and way points to travel around the world and to villages and that you could roam freely like the legend of Zelda. So please update it with all that stuff. But we still love this game if we could we would rate this game a 100.

You swipe and kill and get a gold.

Could you make it possible to exchange coins for diamonds or something else, we have so many and not really spending them on anything.

We played this game because of the appeal of this game. The ratings were great and seemed fun in general. We truly was not disappointed, if you are reading this review and are not sure if you want to get the game this should convince you (And developers if you are reading this we truly wish you luck on other projects.) The game itself has an amazing selection of characters and there are a ton of things to keep you busy, like going in dungeons collecting ore in the cave to use for upgrading armour and weapons. The game also has many things that surprises the player to keep diversity in the levels such as the trees that will try to attack you if you get too close. The game is also not pay to win you can get gems fairly easily by doing daily quests and promo codes. We also heard there would be a sequel so we should all look forward to that. If you are worried about adds then there are none. There is nothing bad we can say about this game so if this convinced you then we hope you enjoy this game just as much as we do.

A fun and easy to pick up game that keeps getting better. Simple enough to keep it casual for a short jaunt but complex enough to require a little thinking here and there. Fun little retro game.

Ive been playing this for a few weeks now and we have seen 0 ads. This app makes its money by selling coins and diamonds that are used to buy powerups. But you can also earn them by grinding reasonably in game. We appreciate the developers here, this is good game design.

Yeah its fun and simple, what more to say.

This game really captures the essence of any darksouls game except not the difficulty aspect. This game is very well executed for a mobile game and wow no ads on a free game. THANK YOUU! If you are looking for a plane game or just a game to play when your going somewhere this is perfect.

Haven't played it but it's not 1 bit (whcih means you can only use 2 colors. Looks fun tho.

You cant use skill to win this game, the levels are built so that, at a certain point, you have to spend gems, and inevitably, money. We would rather pay for the game, or for levels, than have to pay to get as far as we can on the same level over and over again.

Im keeping this short and simple, we were having so much fun until we realized theres just a random cheap way you can instantly die in this game and since this is a rogue like and theres perma-death this is absolutely bs. Its safe to say that was not a fun experience near the end there.

This game has a very good nostalgic feel to it. Simple yet fun concept. They should make more games like this.

This game along with soul knight are some of our favorite games. We think its great that you dont have to play a lot to get decent at it. The setup is good with the cool down for dying. Its easy enough to get money and gems. If we had to criticize this though, you should make a 4 direction joystick as a control option. That way we dont have to tap and swipe all the time.
