This game is great and funny , but its crash at our iPad , run game about 1 minute and white color full of the screen and cant touch anything.

If you have played OpenTTD on the computer, this is the same exact thing, and it works perfectly, even downloading GRFs and scenarios. We really enjoy the ease of being able to play on our phone anywhere anytime, and find we play more often now, although of course the game is more accessible on PC. If you haven’t played before the learning curve might be steep but we think it’s worth looking up a couple YouTube tutorials to figure it out. Our only complaint is that for some reason the soundtrack doesn’t seem to play, not sure if that’s something we can fix or not.

Wow! If youve ever played open ttd on your computer youll see that this mobile version is 1:1. Super fun to play, exactly the same mechanics as the pc version. Have essentially no complaints other than its kinda hard to play on such a small screen and without a keyboard and whatnot but thats not the developers fault, just have to get used it to it. Highly recommend 5/5.

But we cannot figure out how to install AI competitors.

We like classic tycoon games from the 2000s. This one hits the mark!

Very good. UI is good, could use some minor tweaks with font size and window size but overall very good mobile version.

Works great been having fun on it, only thing we were wondering, how can we backup saves and send them to pc or our iPad (other device)?

This game is absolutely amazing for it being a port. Its just hard to get a grasp but we would recommend this to everyone 10/10.

This is a great port of a classic game. This is the best transportation simulation game ever made. For other users we highly recommend turning on title bars in the game options because then you have the X to close windows instead of having to drag them off the screen. Get this game!

Really impressive port of one of our favorite games. Our only request is the addition of zooming in/out with finger gestures, if possible. Its counter-intuitive to use buttons on mobile.

The game is very interesting, but every time open the will to crash the game.

Its Literally The Same Thing As The PC Game!

All good thank you but please consider removing that UGLY white top bar in interface it distracts a lot.

This is what Id call a functional port of open ttd, however, all of our data is deleted on restart. Ais, Scenarios, saves. This is a serious bug which blocks people from playing long sessions.

This game is a great game we would give it a 5 star but we have one problem when we go to download a base graphics pack the game crashes every time we try, otherwise an amazing game.

The game looks really fun we downloaded on pc and idk if you guys are in Control of the pc version like on steam sorry idk how it works and we’ve tried looking around for a tutorial we cant find one im very lost and theres a lot of stuff you can do in game so a tutorial on the pc would be noce if there isnt one and we really want to play it maybe like a beginner tutorial and a advanced one, there probably is one im just to stupid to find it.

It seems to be Missing some key pieces like the ability to edit terrain.

Openttd is an open source remaster of Transport Tycoon Deluxe or ttd. Where you manage a series of vehicles that transport passengers and goods around a randomly generated map. Staying on top of competitors, while maintaining a good image of the towns local authorities. Of course, since its open sourced. Several new and modifiable features not found in the original game are present. Some of which function as DLC, or Newgrfs as it is called. ================================== we’ve been a fan of Openttd ever since we first played it in our childhood on an old android tablet. So, imagine our surprise to see it readily available for download from Apples AppStore. Rushing at the opportunity, we downloaded the app, installed several NewGrfs to enhance our experience, then started a new game. =================================== The experience on a particularly large map was surprisingly smooth for the most part on an iPhone 13, Of course being more of a burden on more mid-range/budget or older devices. However, there are times the game would freeze when a large cluster of events are ongoing, or when autosaving. There also appears to be a surprising lack of music playing on this particular version of the game. But may be attributed to the way the music playback was designed, being of course oriented for desktop computers, but was also functional on Android devices. Apple may be an entirely different story, so you essentially have to play in silence, only hearing your vehicles set off on their routes, Or the ambience of birds, and other sounds generated by Newgrfs. =================================== Multiplayer is an aspect that allows you to either forge alliances, or create overwhelming chaos in the form of transportation networks between other players. The element unfortunately does not appear to work correctly, crashing the app when attempting to search by internet for any available servers, Dashing any attempts of playing with your friends while on the go, If youre on an Apple device. =================================== In spite of the few problems existing, such as the inability to wreak havoc on other players. The app holds rather well on the Apple platform, bringing the portability of the Android version of the game to be experienced by even more users that are looking for something to pass the time. We place this highly on our list of mobile games, Simply due to the nature of the Transport Tycoon series, And the great range of things youre capable of doing on an app that has been constantly developed by a broad range of volunteers from a gigantic community. The game will keep you glued to your screen, and leave a notable impression that will have you coming back for more. We sincerely hope the developer that had taken the liberty to port the game to this platform can iron out the few bugs I, and probably others, have encountered. Bringing the game on par with the Android version.

Overall this is a great game that you can get on steam for free, and the game feels just like its pc counterpart. However there is one main problem that is a real pain to deal with sometimes. The Online Content The online content section is overall great as that is what drives us to play the game, however it may not show up randomly. As in, the resources that are there to add more content to a game dont show up at all for an extended period of time.

Basically functions as you’d expect, but it has no function for online content like NewGRFs or heightmaps and, as this is a third-party app and hasn’t been updated in two years, it isn’t up-to-date with the PC release of the game. It has integrated touch controls, but they can be a bit finnicky at times. Good if you’re going on a trip without a computer and want to ease the transport itch.

Online content does not load and the game will randomly reset back to defaults.

Hi please update to open ttd 12.1 Install the Zbase graphics or abase (better). This will let us have higher resolution. Also this will let many play online! Right now the game crashes a lot when trying to do any of this in game!

This game is just like the one on android but heres the thing: It keeps turning entirely white except for the stuff at the top like your internet and battery percentage. The only way to fix it for us is to restart the game but we need to do it way too often. Please Fix this. (Also our device is a iPad mini 2)

This is a perfect mobile port, but our saved games disappear. We are saving them by clicking the save icon, entering a name for the save file, and saving the game in the save directory. We come back later and the file is missing from that directory. Developer, can you help?

We love this game but the music dont work only for trains an etc sound effects not the main chorus.

We paid for it but cant read any of the text so idk how to play :(

This app gets stuck on Preparing 99% of the time. Im lucky to boot it in 10 minutes of opening, waiting, and closing the app.

The game doesnt fit our screen resolution. The tutorial doesnt work. Also bad mobile design, Id really like to use two fingers to zoom and move around the map. Ill be playing this on pc because it looks really fun!

None that works anyway. We have no clue what our goal is or how to get there.
