Great game – even we can play it.
It seems that the player in the third slot wins much more than players 1&2. We play hardest and win often but place three will get on a roll and win several consecutive games.
Love to play this but am frustrated with the lack of game options. Mexican train game is known for the variety of play. Such as: train becomes open if player played on any train but their own, or only if not on their own or Mexican train, dont have to draw when their train is blocked,.

If you like trains, this is the game for you! It makes you think, and its a whole lot of fun! Great game.

We have played your game for a couple of years. Even though we like your game, we probably wont continue to use it due to the 35 second advertisements between rounds. We dont mind advertising; but really ! Every round. Thats too much. We would rather see advertising at the bottom of the screen during game play. The ads still get our attention without being so frustrating. At least limit the ad time to one or two intervals per game. We decided to try your game again. Now you have some advertisers that hold you hostage. The advertiser freezes and you cant exit. The latest one was woody wordpress(?) even though an x was present on the screen every time you hit the x it took you to the App Store. You have constant advertisements on your screen during play. We always consider those. BUT! To hold us hostage!?! We can not afford to pay for your app.
We cant get our game play options to work any more. Game is too slow when it stops to tell you which player has a turn :/ Tried to fix in pass and play settings, but then the game switches to three round mode, which stinks. Settings need serious attention.
We enjoyed the game until the ads increased in frequency and length. Most recent ad was 4 minutes and wouldnt give an option to close. Stopped and started the app then the same ad popped up again. Same issue with how long it was playing.
Any chance to get the old version reinstalled.
We just got a new iPad and our games, apps and purchases were reinstalled. How bummed we were to see right off the bat, that the graphics have changed. They are very similar, but have lost that warm vintage look for a new slick look. Im really bummed out about that. We wish there was a way to install the older version. There was nothing wrong with it and we had it for years. We play this game (sad we know) an hour each day for relaxation. But Im not so sure anymore. We perhaps we will adapt. Ugh. The sounds are different too. Its lost that familiar feeling.

We love the Mexican Train tile game, but only got to play it at holidays when visiting the fam. This game ends our MT sadness and is the best version Ive found. They recently upgraded the game and we LOVE it now. Everything the old one was missing has been fixed or added and its just about perfect! We love that we can play both the way the traditional tile game is played (laying down your whole train on your first turn), as well as the one tile at a time way we played in the old version. AND you have option to pass and play with other people or just one person, which is almost as good as the real game. If you enjoy playing the tile game, then get this app. We play it almost every day! Five stars for all their hard work to make this game sing. Good job, yall.
The bottom of the screen is too busy which makes it hard to see your dominos.
Game crashes seemed to have been resolved. Our biggest complaint now is that it seems to run slower than the old version. Thanks for responding to our previous review. With the latest update, game crashes with the timed ads. So, not only do we have to wait through a 30 second ad, but then the game crashes and we have to completely reload it. This, coupled with the other updates that unnecessarily complicate the game, have helped us decide to quit this app. We just wanted an easy game to pass some idle time.

The game plays incredibly slowly and glitchy on our iPhone 8, and makes it impossible to play.
This game is not nearly as good or as much fun as before the update.
For some reason, Glowing Eye has decided to begin showing ads on their games portraying what some would perceive as immoral relationships. These ads are geared towards young minds, and we strongly resent this blatant attempt at indoctrinating young minds in this manner. We are removing every Glowing Eye game from our devices and will not download any more of their products. If you have kids that are using these games, you may want to check out the ads they are being exposed to.

Since GEs Mexican Train Gold crashed and burned after the last update, its nice to have a functioning game with Orient Express. Let us know when MTGold has been repaired.
One of the best games we have played in a long time. Keeps us on our toes. Thank you. 12/19/19. We enjoyed the other version of this game. The background is to busy and we can not fine where to end the game if we have to leave early in the game. The other version let you leave anytime. This one does not at least we can find the right button.

Good game but we have to close the ap and reopen to get it to work after every round. Please fix.
This game had a beautiful stylized look and feel but now it is cartoon like. We cant imagine why it would go from a refined and polished look to more juvenile appearance. The new looks take away from the player experience. We had no complaints with the game prior and loved it and played often but now its going to get deleted.
We dont care for this format at all. We enjoyed playing in landscape.

Only recommendation is to make the options easier to find/change.
This is the best available online Mexican Train! However, several times when the computer opponent passes they are not drawing the extra domino; therefore, the computer opponent is winning when they should be in 3rd place. Nevertheless, we love playing this daily and have shared with friends.
The background of the updated game is distracting. We would like a plain background option. Otherwise the game is fun, but we also prefer playing six rounds. So youve upgraded the game, took away options for the free version and want us to pay to get what we used to have. May be time to change aps.
We liked the old dominos colors as they were the ones on the physical game.
Love the sound effects and fun to play we liked the old graphics better, now its just like all the rest. The old graphics looked just like a train from the thirties. Why did you change them. Im thinking about deleting the game entirely since it now looks like all the rest. Poor choice.

We used to love the game but; with the new update, there is no chance of winning. Ever. Before the update, you could win if you knew how to play. Now, the middle player ALWAYS wins. We thought it was just us, but we asked someone else who plays this game and he found the same thing we did. He has deleted the game in favor of finding one that was not rigged for the game to always get every tile needed. Hoping the game goes back to being a true random draw of the tiles.

Loved the game before the update. The new glitzier look and feel detract from the lovely, warm, Art Deco Orient Express feeling the game used to have. We could handle that, but the new scoring method is atrocious! Give us back the option to play like we did for years. Play the round, count up the pips left for each player, display them, and move to the next round. Person with the lowest cumulative score at the end of the final round wins. This is unnecessarily complicated. What was a 5 star app for years is now 2 stars at best. Classics are classics because they cant be improved upon. Shame on you for assuming classic meant dull.
