Its great we love the characters and the story line is amazing! Butmy problem is with the gems the only way to can really earn them is if you read 120+ chapters. Thats the only way you can get a decent amount l. Otherwise your stuck with a measly 1-3 gems max for prizes and dailys.
We’ve been playing genius incs otome games since 2018. We’ve been playing it on and off since then and have read through many of their amazing stories. After a long break from playing them we had the urge to start playing them again so we downloaded this. We come to find out they have made second parts to some of our favorite stories since the last time we played! Im very excited to read them!!!

So we actually lve this app. The guys are handsome( our favorite is the servants of the night stories. The stories themselves are engaging. Im a busy person, so the time waiting doesnt really bother us The ONLY problem Im giving this a 4 is because of the stupid currency system. Lets get real. We all have our lives. But the problem with this is that you either at, or not. We refuse to pay, paying for something like this in our opinions foolish. Well, our only chances are either points or achievements. The points. We dont know hw that works but from the reviews we gather you have to have a tracking system. That is something we definiately said no to in every app we download. So that is out of option. That leaves us the achievements. The achievements themselves are. Okay. But we really wish they can break down them. Like 20 chapters for 10 jewels, or at least jewels like 1 jewel per every chapter we read. Also, it should have a ads currency thing, like 10 jewels for 2 ads per day or something like that. We mainly do these stories for looking at the graphics, which are beautiful. This is why we are still here. But can someone please do something about the points/jewels? That and then id give it a 5 star. The free jewels need more options, thats it. Overall, its a pretty good app. Just those minor fixes is all what we are asking for.
We really love this app its amazing but its such a long wait to be able to keep on playing but besides that its the best app we have we love all of the characters and we really like how it keeps you guessing.
We wont say anything bad about the stories because some of them are actually quite nice but theres a glitch where im reading something and always almost at the end it downloads and all that but then the screen is just black and no matter what we try and do it cant show us anything unless we restart the story which we dont want to do because its too much work for us to just be almost done and then having to restart it please fix this ASAP.
Be prepared to potentially spend over $70+ to fully enjoy this game. We enjoy choice-based games, but this one leans more towards a "pay-to-play" model, where you’re often forced to spend $5 to $10 per choice to experience the charming moments. Additionally, the cost of these choices increases as the story progresses. We wouldn’t mind if each choice only required 5 to 10 gems; that would be much more reasonable, and I’d be willing to invest in the game. However, the current pricing feels quite exploitative, so we won’t be spending any money on this game, and I’d advise you not to either.
We love this app the storys are awsome and cute and have lots of different story options but we have this app and the yaoist app and we dont like how theire share points cause thin we haft to pick witch app we wanna play its just kinda inconvenient but other than that 10/10 app.

We love the stories on here but can we get some stories where the reader isnt dependent on the male character in the story. Im reading a story where she runs a detective agency but she doesnt actually run the agency. The magical stories also suffers where if the reader has powers but it always ends up being in service to the others but doesnt ever have any powers that are actionable where she can use it against a bad guy. Can we get some stories were the reader is less dependent on male characters. The reader is never really strong and confident in herself. Some stories give the illusion of having toughness to them but not really. We should have more stories were the reader and male characters complement each other, not make the reader dependent on the three male characters.
We really like the stories so far but theres no way to get diamonds besides paying or sometimes you get it from daily but you get only 2 or 3 and all the diamond options are over 22 its honestly obnoxious maybe they can add a watch a ad for diamond options or something all ik is that im not gonna be spending money on this game its not worth it.
Art is one of our main draws to these kinds of games. This game has the most hypnotizing art, at least to us. We really like the story, and the characters. But it costs gems for choices and theres no way to earn gems easily. We love this game but the forced real money purchases are a huge turn off.
Every one we know can earn points on the game if they need gems right away but mines is block of we cant earn points at all.
There seems to be a glitch. There’s supposed to be a way to earn points, however, that button/function is completely greyed out and attempting to tap it brings you back to the home screen which is frustrating. It leaves users with no option to earn free in-game currency and forces them to take the paid route… Which is already heavily relied upon and quite pricey on top of that. If they could fix this issue it would be a lot better! The stories and content are both interesting and entertaining, but I’d like if the MC could be less dependent on the male leads and more strong-willed. A lot of the time she appears to be helpless and have no clue what’s going on. Additionally, there aren’t a lot of choices to make when you’re meant to pick a response/answer while playing, and choosing the "correct" response will cost you. If the points/response system could be changed this would make playing so much more fun!
The earn points function is broken (greyed out and unclickable) so we cant earn important currency to make premium choices in the game. Please fix! Otherwise the stories are good and art is high quality for the most part. We could not get through one story because the FL is so over-the-top thirsty it was so off putting. But thats not true for all the stories.
Many stories to choose from that are super enjoyable love the writing and art. Some choices require diamonds but it isnt so bad choosing the other options. Overall recommended .
Theyre all so interesting and have such beautiful art. Our first story was our Ninja Story we highly recommend it. The boys were adorable and the story was so well put together 11/10 we loved it.
The book was great it kept us wondering if he like us or if he only wanted her blood but he didnt want to take our blood.
There wasnt an easy way to contact them through the game so Im putting our issue here. We have an iPad Pro Generation 1 and Im on IOS 14.7.1 Closing the app and opening it again doesnt work, deleting it and reinstalling doesnt work, and restarting our device doesnt work. Its a shame because we think some of the art is very nice (like realllly nice, better than some other Otome games) and we like a few of the stories we’ve started.
We are absolutely in love with this app. Hands down the best in terms of character designs, genres and stories. Love it. Our only little problem are with the tickets and rubies. We have zero problem purchasing more tickets and rubies, but the app will no longer allow us to make these purchases. Its like there is a bug with the in-app purchasing. We do hope this gets fixed soon so we can go in and purchase the rubies for the premium choices in these wonderful stories. Thank you! :3.
We love the characters and the stories we just wish there was an option to have a male pov and not just a female.
In a few weeks we have become very enthralled with this game. Unlike a lot of other "collective" (otome apps with multiple short stories) Every story has its own art style, perfectly rendered, crisp and clear. It draws you into playing stories you may have not been interested in just reading the cover. One of our biggest pet peeves in dating sims is when reappearing minor characters dont have sprites. Otomania fixes this by using black silohuettes. We also enjoyed the zombie sprites from "Princess of the Dead," they really popped out of nowhere and gave us a good fright! Most horror otomes focus too much or too little on the romance or horror aspect, and Princess of the Dead definitely has it down right. We must say however, that the biggest drawback is the paid currency. Thankfully there are ways to earn the paid currency without money, and all of them are rather easy and can be done daily. However this is not a sustainable route. In two-three weeks of playing, doing our dailies everyday, we’ve gotten a total of 30 gems, enough for ONE premimum choice. Which are appealing and interesting, but often rather short, which does not equate for the high price. We would be willing to buy gems with real money, if they were more affordable to get for free. Taking an example from Arcana or Fictif’s systems. You can get plenty of free currency, which allows one to play more, which in turn means spending more money both in game and real world on the game. If we know we’ll have to pay 20-50 bucks every few weeks just to scrounge up enough to feel safe and comfortable not regretting a paid choice, it makes us set aside myself from the story. Knowing we cant get invested in these characters without going bankrupt. We also believe this problem leads to a lack of fandom, or a very small fandom for this game. We would LOVE to see artwork, fanworks, and enough interest for physical merchandise! However because choices are so expensive, half the game, particularly the romance is inaccessable and doesnt leave for enough "imaginative play" for the reader to put themselves in MC’s shoes Overall we love Otomania, we’re looking forward to going through the different stories, and hope they implement a more fair paid currency system too.
We love all the stories and appreciate how quickly they come out but we believe that most of them dont require a multiple parts! Especially if you chose a character in the first one then chose another one in the second one. We also think that the stories lose some of the charm in the second part. Other than that we cant find a better game/ story app.
We’re very thankful for the experience we had while playing in this app, our Favorite story is definitely Nocturne of Nightmares! This story is VERY good and we mean it (you’ll believe us when you try it out) it really gets you to sympathize and really feel what the characters emotions are which is amazing we’ve personally played it a few years ago (when it used to be on separate app) and still found it a surprisingly great app Although we have given it 4 stars because it’s annoyingly hard to get the rubies to just use it on the character you like It’s a lot of waiting and waiting and watching some ads every couple of hours to get 30 points only But overall it’s our favorite app at the moment and we’re not mad about it we’ll say a big Thank you to all of the Genius Inc. Staff, you guys did a very good job.
So we’ve been playing this game for two years or so and when we first started playing we COULDN’T STOP. Like this was our absolute favorite game ever. All the characters designs, the plot, everything. But then about a year ago, it just got more boring. Like they started making a million sequels for things that didnt need it and it was odd. And then all the non sequels that came out just werent as fun as the old ones. They all just feel meh. We found myself just rereading all the old ones. There was just something so magical about them. So if we could give some advice for the people who make them, we would say try to make the stories more different. We think there should be more slice of life stories. All of the newer ones are fantasy, which isnt bad but it would be nice to have some variety. It would also be nice if we had more stories with a strong female lead. Its annoying when every story its about a weak woman getting saved from the big strong men. Overall though this game is wonderful and we would 100% recommend it.
We love this game but the the only problem is that: it crashes many times, qnd when we start the season 2 it doesnt continue after a while because it keeps crashing. PLEASE solve this problem ASAP.
This is one of our favorite otome games to date. The wide amount of characters and the sheer amount of stories is awesome. Now, we didnt have a problem with the gem system because you could earn points to get gems and you didnt just have to spend money. Problem with that however. Maybe this is just us, but we cant access the place to points at all. Ill try to click the get points button but it just wont work, and it hasnt since we’ve gotten the app. Like, we’ve shelled $56 bucks on this game already Id really like a way to play this game without having to do that.
We’ve been playing this fire a while and its safe to say Im addicted lol but lately we’ve been playing it a lot less. Theres so many bugs, lately the most recent story we’ve been reading wont open, it just freezes at 0% loaded. The other stories work fine but it randomly decided to freeze on the story you happen to be reading now. Also the Earn Points button is no longer clickable. Still shows the button but youre not able to press it and without that, or paying for them, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to accrued enough gems to be able to choose one option. Used to love this game, but theyve made it impossible to earn enough gems at a fare enough pace to even enjoy playing the game. Its disappointing.
We will admit it seems like a decent game it first, however we had immediately closed it out and deleted the game upon being called she/her. These are not our pronouns and never will be. We are in fact part of the trans community and had started to have a very serious mental breakdown due to being called she/her, fictional character or not.
We love the stories but not the amount of diamonds required to get a choice and including the part of earning new diamonds you either have to buy a bunch more or wait until you get enough from the gifts like at least use videos for diamonds.
We enjoy this app, the stories are good, the artwork is nice, however, youre hit with a pay wall every time you turn around. Typically, we dont mind spending money on these apps, however, this is the first app we have come across where a lot of money goes nowhere. The choices are too expensive. We do realize theres a way to get points we can trade for gems time tickets, etc, but this is not even an option for us as we cant select the earn points tab on our app. Itd be nice if a paid option was available for x amount of stories a month like other apps offer. Im willing to spend if it seems worth it, but this just feels like a money grab. Though the stories are intriguing enough, we dont see the choices being worth 22 gems, which costs TWO DOLLARS in the store. Outrageous.
We just downloaded this app today it was really enjoyable and u wanted to continue with the game we were reading so we ended look at the purchases to see if they had any deals going on we bought both the starter packs and only received one which was the .99 cent one and we didnt receive the $4.99 but it was charged to our card.
Couldnt even start the app because it never loaded.
We love this app but our only problem is that we cant remove stories from our most recent read when we dont want to read them anymore. This might not bother others people but we really would like if the app could have an update where you can remove stories that you dont want to read anymore.
The only way to get gems is to either earn points or to buy them. We adore the stories and all but the earn points button doesn’t work.
The stories are interesting and the concept is good its just the whole gem system doesnt even work for us. We have no idea how to get more gems for premium choices in the game. We went to the coin shop and the button to get free coins doesnt even work so im going to be stuck at 19 gems for the duration of the book im reading and wont be able to make any premium choices in it or in any book because getting gems is practically impossible unless youre counting the one 1-3 gems you get for the daily sign on bonus.
The stories are all so interesting! Our only complaint would be how difficult it is to get the gems, and we wish the tickets would load a bit quicker than 2+ hours. But overall we think its great. The stores really wrap you in.

Omg we love nocturne of nightmares its so sad but soo sweet and romantic u get to choose who you like at the and we chose Subaru any way this is the best app ever but they only color the main characters the other ppl are white like ghosts and you never get to see you.
We’ve always loved all the Genius Inc games, we wish they were put back in the options of staying with everyone because sometimes it’s difficult to choose only one otherwise we love it.
We do love this game, dont get us wrong. But we do have one flaw that we’ve encountered. When we’ve completed reading a book, the progress is only on 90% and not 100%. This doesnt bother us at all. We just wanted to point it out. Other than that, Keep up the great work .
