We love playing this game with our friends and family. We really like how you can set time limits and adjust the size of the game. Its the best word game out there!

Great that it tells you how many Pangrams will be in the puzzle.

The game we played today had a anti Semitic slur that starts with k. Please remove!

Theres a lot to love about this game and the functionality, we do just wish they could eliminate that obviously offensive racial slurs. Seeing them when we tap to see the answers is so disappointing.

We love the NYT Spelling Bee, but wanted to play against each other. This app has been perfect for that. The one major issue weve found related to the dictionary. Im playing a game right now that rejects the word dollhousesthe singular is okaybut it thinks holo is a word that most people use. There appears no rhyme or reason to the words allowed. We think better dictionary curation is in order. It would also be great to be able to delete players no longer involved. Theres no help or settings options. But heres the worst of it: the un-curated dictionaries include racial epitaphs. We’ve deleted the app as a result, even though this is the best of the pangram apps.

Love this app! Addictive! Fun to play against friends or family if u feel like being competitive. One improvement needs to be made – reveal answers button needs to ask are you sure? Too easy to press by accident.

Love the game, very visually appealing. Multiplayer is very simple and really does make for good competition amongst friends. Has been a welcomed addition to our household routine during this quarantine. Recommended !!

The app buffers everytime a new puzzle is loaded. The wheel of death is ever present and the only way to get rid of it is to delete the app – which deletes our stats!

It happily let us pay and download but on our iphone se, you cant see the bottom of the letter circle nor any of the buttons so you cant play. Complete waste of money. Or if theres a setting somewhere that Im missing, please let us know and Ill change our review.

Im a big fan of this game. However, since Daylight Savings Time started recently, new puzzles come out an hour later than they used to. In Central Time, new puzzles arent released until midnight.

We love playing this game and play often with friends in the game room setting. One thing that drives us all NUTS though, is when you find a word (and this happens a lot) that is not included in the puzzles count and so, NOPE, its not a word! Argh!! Yes it is! Would you consider perhaps having an extra section that could list those extra words (allowing us the sweet satisfaction of having found them) without messing up the word count? This would be ever so appreciated.

Should reconsider the recommended age or update filters.

Not certain what they are using as a word source, but it is repeatedly maddening to try a valid, non-obscure word*, have it rejected and then find that something like hmmm is considered a word for the puzzle. *dictionary verified.

Can you please upgrade your dictionary. There are so so so so many common words missing, in every single puzzle there are at least two completely legit and common words it wont accept. Infuriating. Will be happy to update review once thats done.

Seriously?!? You have the n-word in there?? Our kids play this app. Not anymore. Have some decency.

In todays puzzle, 2 of the words were fck and fckwit (a new obscenity to me). The age rating for this app of 4+ years is ridiculous. We’ve deleted it.

It could be fun if it worked. But the add and delete keys started to hide themselves yesterday and the game is unusable without being able to add or delete a word. We reinstalled the app and it still doesnt work on our relatively new ipad.

This game is now barely playable since they changed the alignment of the tiles. Please change the tiles back to the original symmetry. Please. Also, you should allow user to change colors and fonts.

More interesting than the one in The NY Times because you can play against other people. Also you know how many words to look for so it gives you a daily goal! Work on it throughout the day.

Lots of fun, very nice looking UI, and makes your brain work. The racing feature at the top as you play against friends is the best part. Also a perfect game to play throughout the day as you have a few minutes here and there.

Fun game, decent design, but needs to use a much better dictionary. In our last game alone, we got a "Nope" for really basic words like icily and pulpy. We’ll stick with it to see if the accepted vocabulary improves, but we don’t see myself playing this much until that happens.

This game is super fun and addictive, its a better version of NY Times Spelling Bee. The interface is a little confusing at first but once you get hang of it, super easy and fun to play with friends.

This game is great because you can play against a bunch of friends at once. And game can last several hours so people can come and go as they please.

We love playing Pangrams with our friends! We can see each others scores and chat.

There was a bug where we couldnt access the daily puzzle and the developer responded quickly.

Love private rooms and the challenge. Biggest flaw is games missing common words. Playing a game with center letter we and p, n, g, a, y, r. Words that arent playable: aping, apiary, ninny, nippy, prig, parrying. Not esoteric words at all. But create a game that uses all words and youll get non-English words and words with four Xs a Q and two Ks. So, the biggest drawback is the naming of your dictionaries and the depth of your dictionaries. Still, a great way to pass the time as you wait for a zoom meeting to start.

The functionality of this is fine, but every puzzle we’ve done so far leaves out common words. For example, the last one we completed left out "airily."

We wanted to choose 0 stars but… We just deleted this app. There was an offensive, racist pejorative once we revealed the answer list. We took a screen shot to share with the developers if they care. This app is not checked by humans before daily puzzles are pushed out. Whatever database this app pulls from includes slang, racist and random non-English dictionary words that decent people would never think to type into a word game and therefore will probably never win/complete a game. We prefer The NY Times Spelling Bee game. Words in Spelling Bee are not offensive and are from official English dictionaries so we win/complete most and if not at least we learn something.

When we looked up the answers to see what words we missed, one of the words on the list was an ethnic slur.

The racial slurs included as acceptable words are alone enough to give this one star. Understanding slurs is one thing, being awarded points for them is another.

Challenging and satisfying. Look forward to it daily.

We wish we could say this was a good game, because it (almost) is. The puzzles are enjoyable, you can create rooms to play against other people, there are many positive elements. Yet the other day, we opened up the October 16th puzzle in hopes of having a good challenge, but was instead subjected to shock. We found that this puzzle deemed the F slur as an appropriate word to include. While this is indeed a word, its still an adjective/noun with an incredibly homophobic past. We find this completely unacceptable, and am extremely disappointed that you would include this word in your game. Definitely bumped the star rating down a few notches.

Not pleased. Word list is not close to acceptable. Rejected turgor and googol and many others used in the Bee. The words they DO accept border on nonsensical. If you think that you are getting a close facsimile of the NYT Spelling Bee you are in for a bitter disappointment!

No, we dont think so. For example the Oct 15 Bee has M as the center letter, along with A, U, K, H , T, & R. Pangram is mukhtar. Yes, we see and hear that almost everyday! There are 31 additional (non-pangram) words.

Hi, Love the style and play of this game! Our one comment is the detection radius around the letters needs updating. Constantly finding myself tapping wrong letters or letters not getting entered unless we tap a few times. IPhone X.

Our wife and we do the daily gram together plus we have setup a game room for us to play short games against each other throughout the day. We would give 5 stars but too often it doesnt consider legitimate words to be valid (For the record, we use the most words dictionary option). For instance, we just played a game where it said vitiate is not a word and we recall a previous game where allah was deemed invalid. Is it possible to use Websters Dictionary as a basis to determine the validity of a word?

Overall we enjoy this app, but it definitely needs some work and more consistent updates from what we can tell from the reviews. For instance, someone in May mentioned that the iPad version does not work in landscape mode… Which is super annoying. Its almost the end of August and that isnt fixed. You can only go back 1 week for the daily grams. We think we should have access to whatever the past history has been. We purchased this so we could play more often than the daily NYT one, but come to find out we did the past week and thats it. There arent many options and no settings to change. We SWEAR, we’ve typed words in multiple times and we get a nope only to find that that word was one of the words we missed the next day. Not just once, dozens of times this has happened. We dont understand the creating game room feature. Looking forward to updates and Ill gladly increase this rating.

We have loved NYTs Spelling Bee, so we figured this would be close to the same experience. Its close, but its just not as satisfying to play. Many words that should be accepted arent, and many of the words they do accept arent actual words. NYT has a more reliable word database and is more rewarding to play, in our opinion. Ill keep playing this since we already paid for it, but it wasnt worth the spend to us.

The app is simply not designed for iPad. It only works in portrait mode, and none of the words found are listed on the page where you work, you have to go to a different page to find them. $1.99 wasted for iPad users.

NYT spelling bee is way better.

These puzzles are great, but up to one third of the words are so obscure that perhaps 1% of the reading public has never heard of them. And annoyingly, some words are accepted in both American and British spellings. If they want these puzzles to be engaging and fun, they should stick to words that people have actually heard and used.

Too often words played during the game are refused, only to be included in the valid word list the next day. What gives?

Love this app. Had a problem with font size a few weeks ago from a flawed update, but developer provided a timely fix. We are changing our review from 1 star to 4 stars. (I will go to 5 stars when it works in landscape mode.)

We like this app and find it to be a better value than the NYT Bee. Its also harder and (at least for me) almost impossible to get to 100% of the words since it obviously uses an extended dictionary with many unusual/lesser known entries (for instance, donjon, ejido, jeon are among the words that came up in a recent puzzle). However, the one thing that bugs us is that next days puzzle and prior days answers take a really long time to arrive. Its almost 9:00 pm Pacific time as Im writing this, and the todays puzzle still hasnt shown up. Compare that to NYT Bee, which releases its new puzzle at 12:00 am PDT consistently. We also havent yet figured out the game rooms feature, but its not a concern. Ultimately, If you like these type of word games, you will get a lot of mileage with this one. The UI is clean and simple, it doesnt take too much space or crash your phone. It doesnt have any annoying extras or ads. Our only ask from the dev is to release the daily puzzles/answers a bit sooner.

Easy-to-use app with artful graphics in a soothing, eye-pleasing color scheme – and more importantly – FUN FUN FUN!! Playing with friends is great!! The short, spontaneous games keep things fresh and exciting, and we love challenging a group of friends throughout the day. Im terrible at it, but its so entertaining that we dont mind losing all the time. Thank you for making this game – we’ve been recommending it to everyone!!

We play all the time with friends. So much fun!!!!!!

This is our favourite game to play and it never gets old. The app works really smoothly and has a nice aesthetic. Super easy to play with friends but also a lot of fun on your own!

Font size suddenly absurdly large. Can’t use in landscape mode any longer & barely usable in portrait model. Please fix. We got a swift response from the developer to our disappointment – who says a fix is in progress. Will update again when the fix is in. Thank you for listening. May 20 — Issue with size is still not fixed. Even in portrait mode, the letters are much too big on ipad. We find it frustrating to try to use this app.

We play this game in landscape mode on our iPad. The recent update causes the Delete button and Submit button to hide under the Words/Play/Scores panel, thus we cannot play while in landscape. It has functional spacing in Portrait, but just barely. Very frustrating. Suspect that the UI change for small screens is the problem. Will remain 1-star. Is your fix to this issue is to not allow landscape mode play at all? Not satisfactory. Also recommend that players word list be visible on Play page rather than having to switch to another page.
