Its a fun game but we cant find any of the mini games besides sandy caps.
Enjoying the game so far but only have an hour or two into it. Will re-evaluate after more game play. Only reviewing now to complete a quest.
We think we would give another star just on beginning tasks. That means Id like to have more room in areas to explore to start out with. Also the need for so many buildings instead of upgrading as a task is sort of bothersome. Besides that the game is great.
We can't say this is a bad game but we will say that they give you so many tasks that require more and more land. There simply isn't enough land available to complete the number of tasks. Really? We need to have 5 parks and 5 pizza places on one island? We had to delete it cos that's just ridiculous. Poor gameplay. Megalopolis is still the king of world building.
In the beginning it was a lot of fun, you could build move things play games and it was all fairly easy and it Didnt cost much to do it. Now however, It takes forever to build it costs a FORTUNE To build play games and even to improve buildings its ridiculous and we really cant afford this anymore so it looks like Im going to call it quits its been fun but cest la vie.
This could be a good game, but it has too many flaw to list them all. Developers get working on cleaning up the problems in the game and you could have a winner. Great idea, poor execution. We if you want a list of what we think are the problems drop us an email.
We cant get past the loading screen. Yes we deleted it and reinstalled it. Also deleted some apps to make room for it.
We have a suggestion on what you can do with your videos…,get rid of all but the one at the pier, which brings more tourists; but improve it so it works consistently.
It's ok we guess but gets a bit boring.

Horrible financial rip off. Impossible to play without spending a lot of money. Makes it addictive and abusive… Unfathomable how the AppStore continues to advertise these in app purchase games. Disgusting.
Update – All fixed an works great! We did the upgrade today, and every time we try to complete the snowball fight task five the app bombs and closes, without saving any progress. Ive tried it a ton of times with no luck, and cant progress in the challenge because of it.
We have the 9.6.2 version and its still crashing and resetting when trying to collect from one of the snowball challenge tasks.
Downloaded the new update. Game crashes every time we try to complete the task … Haven't got the new update 9.6.2 Still waiting !!! The game was fun till now . Can only give a 4 , needs improvement.
We cant complete the snow fight game because of the stage 5th that keeps shut off and we cant claim the prizes. There is a technical problem with it. We cant complete this event game because of this so please fix this. Thank you.
It is a fabulous game, very complex and keeps you entertained. However, it also requires constant babysitting to make maximum profit. If you want to have any semblance of a real life, beware! It is a time hog. We will never spend real money on a game like this. We have a real life to tend to. We have a friend who spends hours a day playing this game. Hours we would prefer to spend with real people at real events. Its fun for a few moments but not something we would do for more than 15-20 minutes a day.
It keeps pushing us out app when we claim our reward for one of the goals. Going to look at the exclusive in the workshop.
We really enjoyed this game in the beginning, it was easier to get buildings and complete task. After you get higher in the game, the buildings and tasks get way to complicated and timing consuming, to the point Im ready to move on and find a new game that we wont have to wait so long to complete task. And even if you want to pay money to get coins or gems, they are asking way to much for a small amount. And to even use the coins and gems you accumulated through the game the buildings cost a lot.
We have played this game for some time and have spent a lot of money on this game. This isnt the first time where they have done an update which had caused major issues. We have contacted their customer support, who said the problem has been fixed. Yet we still cannot complete the tasks for the snowball fight because it still closes the app out. Extremely unhappy but we did enjoy this game a lot. It is very addicting.

Recent updates for snowball fight tasks keep shutting down our game and we have to restart what Ive collected coins, claimed rewards, etc.
This game keeps crashing since this latest update especially when playing the battle of snowballs.

We really like this game, we dnt like that we cant put plants anywhere we want like we. The first game.. But other than that we love it.
Fun to start, we hear it costs money to keep advancing so when that happens we'll stop playing but still having fun for now.
Usually this game is a great way to pass time, it's very entertaining and we've never really had any problems. But recently we paid for one of the in game deals and when we try to use one of the items we got to expand territory, the game crashes. Not very happy that the one thing that doesn't work is the one thing we paid for with our real money.

It is one of those "build a city" type games that allows you to stay on for a long time and not get bored. You can also interact with guests and friends, which is totally cool.
We like the game l think it's pretty addicting. We've been playing since last night and we're already on level 7.

We have played this game faithfully for at least two years and once again we keep getting knocked off the game after we have spent a lot of time on it. It's so frustrating. We're almost done for good.
Sometimes it's overwhelming with the goblins but other than that is pretty good.

Can only vouch for up to level 12 but this game is an entertaining time filler.
We have been trying to purchase some crystals from the store, but many of the purchase arent going through. When we try to purchase again, it just says This item has already been purchased and will be restored for free, but nothing is restored. Or we will get a message saying purchase processing please wait. We need help with we. The next three days before the Halloween event ends. Thats what the crystals are for. The rest of the game is great, but trying to purchase is a hassle. Please help us soon.
We would give this game a 5 other than the fact that when our buildings need to be fixed it costs $666 which is starting to weird us out. If that didn't come up as much we'd give this game a 5.
Spent over $1000 building our island, now its all gone and says ive been accused of cheating.
This game is so addictive that we actually want to spend our actual money on it.
Love the game slow paced and relaxing.
There are better made island city games.
Though we REALLY wish somebody would just recreate the game X-CITY but this comes close. Nice graphics which most lack good background music a little to much going on though hence why we miss xcity that game was perfect but again this is the closest Ive found since so that says a lot coming from us and why we compared them in the first place.
We absolutely love this game. It is a lot of fun and we dont mind how long everything takes. What REALLY upsets us is that the special events (ie st. Patricks day and Easter) are down right impossible to complete without spending a TON of money. And the only time gems are worth buying is when you get double the amount for the price. Also, the land is way way WAY too expensive! Its just ridiculous. Especially considering half the tasks are to add buildings.
This game is far too slow moving. Unless of course you want to purchase things to speed up your game. We just started playing and am bored already.
Island 2 is overall a great game. The objectives are very fun to do and the achievements gives us a sense of accomplishment. However, the game does crash or lag frequently. We do not know if the problem is our Ipad version or the games' problem. When we are playing Racing into the Sunset, numerous times has the game lagged and caused us to crash. Because we don't have a sufficient amount of gems, we will watch an add to retrieve our gems. But then, in the middle of the add, the game crashes and we must do everything again. We can't get back the fuel and we have wasted a large sum of gems to finish the race perfectly. Also, the game will sometimes reset our progress on missions and we will take weeks to get back the progress we lost. But, Island 2 is a great game to play. A total time killer and we spend a large amount of time playing. The model our IPad is is MD511LL/A.
The original was a five star, challenging, pay once, upfront game and tons of fun…this one? NO!!! It's designed to make money versus designed for fun…forget it. So sad.
This is a nice game and we like it so much and we hope you download this game it is so nice and we hope so many peoples download this game they will like it.
