The speech playback doesnt work. When we press play nothing happens.
This is just a demo app. It became a paywall with no functionality after the demo walk through.
This app doesnt give the right approaches or doesnt give details as how to improve . It only show where went wrong.
We were excited until when we wanted to record and it just closed sent us back to our Home Screen. It happens each time we want to record speeches.
Ive recorded two impromptu speeches so far. The app lets us play them back, but it doesnt give us any feedback, which is the reason why we have the app in the first place. It basically states, No Speech even though theres a recorded speech in there. Without the feedback, the app is useless we really dont need another voice recorder.
So glad someone did this app correctly! Parrot helped us get over social anxiety by learning how tone and pace affect our communication. The metrics & analytics that show you how you sound in real time are awesome! Not only is it fun to use but it also has changed our life by making us less self-conscious when we speak.
This app has an easy layout, is thoughtful, and very detailed-oriented! When you first open the app an explanation of how to use the app is given to you as you you click through each question. We love that a word of the day is given to use as practice. Not only can you improve on your speaking skills with awesome feedback, you a also get the chance to expand your vocabulary! Lastly, the play back feature of your speech is very thoughtful, because how else can you improve if cant actually hear yourself talk! Thanks or the app. Ill be a toast master in no time.
This is an interesting way to practice speaking on a whim or for a speech. Previous review must be a for an old build as we had no issues with crashes or bugs. Ill continue to use this daily and see where it takes us.
We like the idea, but this app doesnt even work. The app constantly freezes/closes, you cant log back in once youve registered, etc. Im pretty sure there arent any algorithms in the speech scoring too. An MVP that isnt really viable at this point. Needs more work on development.
