Community Insight:
We got all unlockables and we have to say this is one of the best mobile games out there, we saw the puzzle in Undertale and wished it were actually playable and this game is perfect.
Love how there are like no monsters to green.
We love Undertale and we wished we could do more of these puzzles, and this game is epic! Only thing we would like is a arrow keys like thing, where you dont have to swipe. Other than that, its awesome.
A VERY long time ago, we downloaded this game and had hours of fun playing through it. At some point or another, we lost the phone we had played it on, and forgot to redownload it. About 30 minutes ago, we remembered it exists, and we immediately redownloaded it. Lovely game, an all-time favorite game to play on mobile. <3.
We believe im not alone when we say that we played this game a long time when we were just a kid. Im eighteen now, but this game still holds up even after all these years!!! If you remember playing this game when you were a kid like us, and are scared it might not work, dont be!! Its still as fun as it was before. Thanks.
This game is amazing for relaxing and Im sad that its lesser known for its amazing gameplay.
We played an awful long time ago, and though we cant imagine optimization is all that hard, its genuinely such a perfect recreation and Im delighted to find it still works for later IOS versions. Still a wonderful little project, and an incredibly smart concept- thank you for the creation and upkeep of this and Im so happy to be able to play through the memory again.
So this is the best game ever no bugs or glitchs so download it.
This game is extremely good, like too good. If it cost 10 dollars we would buy it again. There are absolutely no bugs or glitches, and the gameplay is repetitive but fun. We have every acheivement unlocked from years of practice, and its our favorite mobile game made. Its perfect and we will never delete it. Theres nothing to fix, but if you made a new update we would definitally play it. Good game, 6/5 stars.
This is a great fun game to pass the time. We love how it has no adds or in-app purchases.
This game is absolutely amazing. Im addicted. But the person we heard about this from cant download it because they are on a galaxy and it was meant for an older version of android (probably).
A perfect re-creation of the original and its super fun to play! (our Cool Dude difficulty record is 9 seconds, try to get higher than that, good luck).
Oh our gosh. We just realized this is from Undertale and it makes us so happyyy! It is a very fun puzzle game but we recently discovered Undertale and yessssss its one of the puzzles Papyrus gives you. Super fun game tho :).
This game is one of our favoritesits just like the colored tile puzzle from Undertale. The mechanics are well-executed, but there is one small difference that stands out. In the original puzzle, red tiles function like a solid edge; you dont step on it and get sent back like the yellow electricity tiles. While this doesnt significantly make an impact the gameplay, it does make a difference when a red tile is next to a purple tile. If the red tile zaps the player backwards onto the purple tile, it also causes them to slide to the next tile, whereas if it acted as an edge, movement would stop before touching the red tile. Overall, this is a fantastic recreation, and we really enjoy playing it. A small adjustment to the red tile behavior would make it even more authentic to the original puzzle.
Maybe add more unlockable soul colors you can choose from. And a map maker where you can make your own level.
THE HUMAN JUST WALKED AROUND IT.
We like this game a lot its unique.
Love how it kinda toys with an Undertale veterans brain.
This is the best Undertale fan game ever, it uses the Snowdin and Hotland mini game puzzle. Theres even a reference in the tutorial! How cool is that? We totally recommend the game. ;).
As an Undertale fan who actually found the color puzzle interesting despite the fact it was only used twice, this game is pretty fun.
Great game, we got it yesterday and have unlocked all of the achievements. Really fun puzzle game with Undertale charm. Great way to pass the time, very addicting.
Very well made, cute, and also fun to play! 10/10, we highly reccomend this :D.
As a maaaaasive Papyrus fan, this helped fill the papyrus shaped hole in our heart after beating the game. GET THE GAME.
It touches on a very obscure thing that had great potential, but it was only used in once in snowdin and once in the one mtt thing. Finally someone made the color puzzle a thing.
Ok so we were just looking for a Undertale based game because we were bored, until we came across this. Downloaded it, and it gave us a full tutorial! Its easy to understand, and its rlly fun! We dont think you need internet either. Best mobile Undertale based game Ive came across.
Great game with good challenge but how do we get the secret? To our knowledge there is no tips on how to get it.
Im a big fan of this game, however, our main gripe is that it just becomes too easy after a certain point. Perseverance – Determined is difficult at first, but we feel that it can feel like less of a challenge once mechanics are memorized more. A no hit mode, or a mode that reduces the timer further on perseverance could add more complexity to the game. Another issue we had is that the game ultimately feels limited by playing by the rules stated in that indie game, adding new modes that add new rules could be interesting, and freshen up the game. Great game, our only issue is that we want more because its so good.
The puzzles are well calibrated, and unlike most puzzles, it makes you go how can we solve this instead of looking up a walkthrough or just being on that puzzle until the end of time. Speaking of time, its a great time killer, and its great if you wanna make a 35 second family guy clip dopamine on a plate TikTok.
Its just fun! After 100%ing this game you will be able to complete the MTT puzzle in the actual game with ease. It becomes second nature. The progression of learning how to find a path to the exit immediately on Perseverance and then making a mad dash there will never not be fun.
We have been playing this since we were 12 on our old ipad, now im almost an adult still playing it, though we had a year break but we redownloaded it yesterday and we loved all the new customization options and updates put into it! You guys are great, thank you so much for our 3 years of nostalgic fun.
As someone who has a lot of trouble with patience this is a really useful tool for us to deal with our daily life.
This game is really fun and well-made, though we have two problems with it: 1. In Undertale, the red tiles act as walls that you cant even consider moving onto, rather than lava or something. We feel like this change makes them less unique as opposed to yellow or blue tiles (under certain circumstances). 2. Its a little bit slow-paced for our taste, and sometimes its frustrating to watch the soul slide over 10 purple tiles, hit a red one, and go all the way back. (This also ties in with problem 1.) That said, we would definitely recommend downloading.
We really love this little fan game! Our only nitpick would be that for us the text off centered after we got a certain amount of the unlocks. Otherwise this is flawless for what it is.
Btw we know what electric tiles do. They are like red ones, but if you step in water next to one you will get electrocuted.
We first downloaded PATIENCE over 4 years ago at this point, and we still love it now as much as we did then. We belive we even got it before we got UNDERTALE. 10/10 game. Just a bit sad to see that this is the last update, but Im exited to see what Hexadawn will come out with next.
This game is absolutely amazing. This keeps us busy for HOURS! Only a week and we have all of the achievements except for the secret. We have some recommendations if you guys see this! 1. No Hit mode. You choose a difficulty of any kind but if you hit anything that knocks you back you lose. 2. Online Multiplayer. While we may be the only one who still plays this, Id love for you guys to add this! The concept is self explanatory Thank you so much for this amazing game this kills the time, and just brings us entertainment! This even got us back into Undertale. We love the concept of making a game of unused information. Thank you again for the amazing times here.
We were looking for a way to play the colored tile puzzle how Papyrus explains it, with full randomization, and this game takes the cake. For starters, youd expect a mobile app to be slower than a website, but the well-known site for playing the colored tile puzzle is (in our memory) slower than this app. Puzzle generation speeds in the app are very consistent. (Of course, we could be wrong about the app being faster (seeing as we tried to make stupidly large puzzles on the site), but idk. The app is fast and consistent). The devs could have stopped there, but they went above and beyond. Puzzle size isnt fully customizable, but there are four set sizes, unlocked by earning achievements. (Almost) every achievement unlocks something, and we can tell the devs had fun thinking of good ideas for achievement rewards. Some of the reward unlock descriptions are really witty, too! We definitely enjoyed getting all of the achievements, as the rewards make it worth it. We think we saw that yall used a suggestion from a different review, so Ill leave our suggestion, in case you guys can use it: The nothing reward was kind of funny, but its kind of anticlimactic. Its just screaming for a good reward to its name, so here are a couple ideas: – Harder to implement: Customizable puzzle size. You could have three custom sizes saveable, with sliders for the X and Y axes to keep things in a limit. We dont know how the code works, with trying to generate always-solvable puzzles and all, so we dont know how possible this idea is, but its worth a try if its not too hard to implement. – Easier to implement: Theres already a gold crown for getting all achievements, but maybe the reward for that 1:05 or less could be a new usable character for with a silver crown (or something along those lines). – ??? To implement: A troll mode that generates impossible puzzles (to mess with your friends). We think this would be easy to add, just turn off checks for possibility via a slider in the settings, but we could be wrong. We dont know much code, and Ive never made an app. If yall just want to keep the nothing, perhaps you could use these ideas for potential future achievements? In any case, thanks for making this game! It was a blast.
Hey uhh we like the game but it need the monsters so the game can be more fun but we hope you well bring good updates and please add this we give this a 5 stars.
This is an amazing puzzle game, even if you dont like or never played Undertale! It is based off the puzzle that Papyrus and the fabulous Mettaton use on you. Suggestions: After you pass a certain amount of green tiles, a boss fight would be super cool! And also, Dapper looks really bad ngl.
Ever since we first saw this puzzle concept in Undertale in 2015 we knew we wanted to play a game like it. And now we finally can. Thank you so much for developing this game and keeping the Undertale aesthetic for it too. Its a beautiful mix of nostalgia and puzzle-solving that warms our heart and keeps us coming back for the next level.
PATIENCE is one of our favorite games and maybe even our favorite, but im writing a review for new modes and suggestions 1; we suggest a new mode called NO HIT and thats where if you bump into something the puzzle ends and will appear with the screen on PERSEVERANCE mode. 2; Add some new skins like Temmie, and add like armors and weapons as skins from Undertale. (Sorry, thats all we could think of, but ill make some new suggestions in a day or two.) 3; Maybe another mode called DETERMINED (But if thats already a mode we had a backup name and here it is FRISK) it could be a mix of PERSEVERANCE and the the 1st idea NO HIT. 4: Add a leaderboard and nicknames for who has completed the most puzzles (and possibly a tournament mode where you face off against the people who participate and first to get to a certain amount of puzzles done and whoever wins a tournament gets an exclusive skin.) And thats all for our suggestions! Please add at least one of these it would make our day! :D (Even though you wont be able to make this today considering it was nearly posted at 4pm.).
Now is a great time to write a review. We love it. The music is great; we get nostalgia every time we listen to it now. We remember the time when we first got this, when we were super obsessed over Undertale. Times have changed. This will always be one of our favorite apps ever.
We love it but two things, the monster summon count should at least decorate your screen with monsters, and what does the donation button do? Does it do something, or can we just not click it? If it doesnt, will it? If not, it should.
So we already have this app and its so much fun To play A lot and we love this app. Signed Asriel.
Very simple to understand. Some nice jokes that give it personality. Had this game for over a year and would play it from time-to-time, waiting for the right layout so that we can beat our highscore: 3.1 sec in mercy-pers get on our level.
Nice fan made game . Why not releasing new one.
We do LOVE IT!!! But you should be able to make a level and have fun, plus it should be free, also you should be able to customize your soul. Overall REALLY good.
We feel like this was very well made but there is one problem we know you can restart 2 but it is annoying when you have a and you have the orange effect, you basically just get soft locked :( Still this is a really good game and keep it up.
We love the game overall and how it works but one thing that annoyed us was in the description they just said this is from a hit indie game and did not state the name. (Undertale) but overall this game is a good phone game for when you are bored! But it might get a little boring after a while so we give it a 4/5 stars because of those 2 factors. Please devs fix the description of the game and we will change this to a 5.
We feel like Reds should act like impassable walls, whereas Yellow should stay the same. It would work better in terms of puzzlestuffs.
