Fixed crash bug.

Pavilion: Touch Edition Reviews

Hello – we rated it 5 stars because it is so beautiful and contains challenging puzzles. We enjoyed playing the game. The issue is that it crashed in a scene where the guy meets a woman and the rose shows up. After pieces of the rose comes off and the arch then breaks down, the game crashed and we ended up doing it over again. Can you fix the crash bug issue?

Pretty, but really short. The second chapter hasn’t come out still and we won’t be buying it. We think it only took us a few hours to complete and if the second chapter was part of this game it probably would have been worth the price.

No sound on iPhone 12 with iOS 15.

… We do not like the game play mechanics. At first glance we thought this to be similar to Monument Valley in game play. After all, it seems to move and flow like MV, but its not. The character moves on his own, drawn towards the bell that you ring. While it is an interesting concept, and Im not basing our review on our erroneous interpretation of the game play, it is a frustrating game play. Things happen within the game mechanics that seem to have no reason for happening. As an example in an early level, the move seems to be run in a direction, and switch on the lights in a sequence to get to the other side. Instead, we missed a light, the guy fell off, he hobbled off to a pad of sorts, was regenerated (?), ran up the stairs and then out of the level. We felt that we wasnt playing a game, so much as we were watching the game play itself, which was our biggest contention. You ring bells, and the guy kinda runs towards it, and then you have to kind of lead him to the next point by ringing another bell. As we stated, an interesting idea, but not our style. We would have preferred a bit more playing of the game, rather than guessing what to tap.

Beautiful art, almost as beautiful as The Room. Whimsical similar to Monument Valley. However, the ending is a bit of a let down. Especially with no chapter 2 in sight. We enjoyed playing and will, most likely, replay at some point.

Hey guys its not optimized on the 10.5 like it does the 9.7 but the game is a masterpiece and the art is amazing.

Im no gamer, but we love a good puzzle. Pavilion lures you in and keeps you engaged without punishing you for mistakes. The trial-and-error is part of the fun. Beautiful graphics to get lost in, and a fairly minimalist skill set will get you through the levels. Challenging and engaging fun.

Anyone who reviewed one star due to not know what to do is just retarded Im sorry but nah this game is great people are just stupid.

Was thrilled to try this on new Apple TV 4K. Graphics look great. Sound is great, but, unable to go very far with Touch Pad control on remote. We have tuned the System speed down to Slow but am unable to move with enough precision to stay ahead of little man. The problem is purely manipulation. The Cursor ball just will not stop moving when it needs to. Really hoping this can be fixed as it ruins an otherwise great experience. We were hoping to share this with our wife, but she wont have the patience for it. Best of luck.

We found this game interesting and enjoyable except for the fatal flaw of having to start each level at the beginning of the level after pausing. This is particularly irritating at the later levels which tend to be longer and more involved. We enjoy problem solving but we dont like repeating things over and over again, especially when they are very involved and a pain in the first place. Was this intentional? If so it was a mistake. Fix this and Id give it 4 stars and continue. For now Im quitting.

Not sure its the type of puzzler we like. Constrained movement based on weird controls.

No tutorials, is right. You tap bells and turn lights on and off and watch the little guy run around. Still trying to figure out what is going on.

While the art was very beautiful to look at, the actual gameplay was very frustrating. The controls are not at all intuitive, so it just feels like Im tapping on the screen until something accidentally happens. We dont mind if the puzzles are challenging, but even figuring out how to maneuver the little man is frustrating.

Beautiful game, we just have no clue what we are doing. No guide at all.

Graphics are nice but there seems to be no point or goal to this game. No storyline that is discernible.

The details are too small to see and interact with on a phone screen. Also, for some reason the sound stopped working too.

Total waste of money, you have no clue what your goal is, you turn on lights or turn them off. You collect keys and such to get this guy through a gate. Hes just running through this what looks like a maze type thing. We want a refund , just so pointless and we’ve only played for five minutes.

Early on, after we obtained the red key that fits into the red pocket watch we found earlier, the game freezes. From an online walkthrough we have seen that the key is supposed to turn, this opening the watch case. The music continues, but no amount of tapping can get the key to tournament. Can anyone give us any help?

Only buy if you want to watch a tiny person running around to no end. There aren’t any puzzles, there is nothing.

Redundant. But looks nice. (Ok so it was four words.)

We cant get over all the good reviews for this game. All you do is run around ringing bells and turning on and off the occasional light. Seriously? Big waste of money.

The game stopped saving our progress after the guy jumps in the water and swims to the girl. Also, after it takes you back to their house and all the lights are messed up, the game just ends. After the guy goes back into their bedroom, absolutely nothing happens. This is either a glitch or just a really dumb way to end the game.

The game is stunningly beautiful but not worth the effort. Controls are terrible, making timed puzzles nearly impossible. Sometimes the little guy does what hes supposed to do and sometimes he just runs around aimlessly. Really wanted to like this game but its all frustration and no fun. Deleted, waste of money.

After playing scores of adventure games; we’ve finally found one that is absolute perfection. Cant wait for chapter 2.

Different. This is a running puzzle game where you can’t control the character, just his environment. It’s fun, then hard, then fun, then hard … And then we have to stop playing for a while, though we always come back to it. If you like a challenge, this is the game. It’s beautiful, and imaginitive and never dull. Part of the fun is the lack of instructions; it requires you to figure it out as you go along.

The game is beautiful and the backdrop have this nightmarish feel to them that is perfect. We dont think it needs a backstory- its clearly someones Nightmare. Im between 3 and 4 stars. Its a bit repetitive but still engaging. We think it was worth the money. Some puzzles are clunky and it seems to work purely by accident. Once you get the hang of the fact that you have no control over the little dude, then come to terms with that – you will enjoy the game.

Yes the graphics are cool, however, if you are looking for games like the Room, or DaVinci, this is not your next game fix. This dude runs around, while you ring bells, shut on and off lights, then he runs some more. Not what we had in mind. Not our kinda game, but the graphics are cool. Its a waste of money for us,

Puzzle games are tricky to design, many factors must be right to create a challenging experience, which is enjoyable to earn how to solve and gives satisfaction when solved. This is a nice design, which fails in all respects. The concept has potential but its result is boring and frustrating and gives no joy when each level is solved. We rarely write a negative review, but in this case we’re confident that you’ll find better games elsewhere. Sorry designers, we bet a rewrite within the world you’ve created can succeed.

Sorry, save your money, was very disappointed with this one.

If you want to exercise your brain, get this superb game! We loved it! Fantastic job developers!

We put it away for a while, the first few times we tried to go very far. There are no instructions, so it can get frustrating at first. But now that its gotten a bit easier to solve the puzzles, we can appreciate how gorgeous the game is. The graphics are truly amazing. Its a lot of fun, and a lovely game altogether. Thank you..

Such an imaginative world. Happy just floating in the surrealism. Puzzles are secondary.

Very beautiful scenery, but got pretty boring after about an hour of playing. Wish the challenges were more various and, as many people before us said, wish there was a back story. Not sure if we would want to finish it before deleting.

While the art direction is superb, and the ambient equally stunning, we found much to dislike about the games core mechanic. At multiple points the character ran around a clearly open path as a blind rat would just because we were expected to ring bells and illuminate lights at precise moments. If you have the patience, and time, to learn its obtuse methods, you may find much to enjoy. If, however, you are looking for a casual experience the likes of Gorogoa, The Room series, or even Lara Croft GO / Hitman GO, stay clear of this game.

We really thought this game was going to last us more than a few months but it only took us a week to go through Chapter 1. And with no sign of a Chapter 2, we feel a little cheated on paying for this app (recommended by the App Store too). Its a beautiful layout and graphics, and you have zero clue what any story is on this so you kinda have to think of it like a weird foreign film where you dont speak the language but kinda know whats going on, vaguely. But we thought the game had more levels than it did, so thats why it only gets .

Way too thirsty for reviews, only did this so you’d stop bombing us for a review.

Just fantastic and amazingly entertaining.

Thanks for adding iCloud syncing. We love being able to play on our iPad and having the option to pickup and play on our phone when we dont have our iPad. Works great, thanks for the fun brain teaser.

Unique gameplay, fun puzzles, beautiful graphics and music.

We absolutely LOVE this game! It was well worth the money. Wait… It IS well worth the money as we keep on playing! The puzzles are challenging & fun & whilst we get that some reviewers say it’s repetitive, we don’t think that fact in any way detracts from the fun & interest. (Isn’t a crossword puzzle "repetitive?" – same concept, but different puzzle?) we totally recommend playing. We haven’t actually got through it to the end, so hopefully hours of enjoyment yet ahead. Well done to the makers & we hope there’s more to come!

This game is really fun, fun in part that it says not a word. And you have to try to figure out how to move the man in time witht he count downs, which drove us mad a few times and had to take a break the think about it a different way. We loved it and would recomend this game to other to play.

Truly imaginative art and beautiful sound. Gameplay is unique but not too challenging.

The environment is simply stunning. Nothing else on the App Store is quite like it. We almost don’t want to beat a level because we’re enjoying the scenery so much. Puzzles require some thought but are not difficult, so far at least. Hope to see more like this in the future!

Just installed it, graphics are cool and game play is instinctual. Will rerate after a week or so. We’ll give it a prelim 5.
