STORY
Welcome to Pillville! Ruled by the fair Princess Polycorn, Pillville is home to a peaceful colony of kind hearted, fun-loving pill bugs. One such joy filled pillbug is our hero, Phil The Pill! Phil is a pillbug who spends his days rolling ‘round the kingdom, hanging with friends and devouring delicious sugary snacks. Pillbugs love sweets!
Unfortunately, the peace, quiet and serenity of Pillville is under attack! Hank The Stank, a down right dirty rotten stink bug and his brood of Stenchmen have infiltrated Pillville and are spreading stench across the land. The poor, defenseless pillbugs have no choice but to retreat into their shells to escape Hank’s nauseating smell.
Pillville is no longer the joyful paradise it once was. It is a wasteland consumed by vile stink bug stench. Even the once bright and happy Polycorn Palace has been converted to a filthy and pungent bowling alley. Hank The Stank, a fierce, competitive bowler now spends his days on the lanes using frightened, rolled up pilbugs as bowling balls!
Having been captured and locked in an airtight bowling trophy, Princess Polycorn's magical powers have been rendered useless and there is nothing she can do to save her kingdom! All hope would be lost, if it weren’t for the severe allergies and clogged sinuses of Phil The Pill!
Pillville and it’s sugary snacks have begun to wither and rot. Phil The Pill, immune to the stench, is our only hope! Be a hero, and help Phil The Pill save Pillville!

It was a really great and cool game Combination of puzzle,adventure and action (But last 7 lvl was VERY HARD ).
We had our eye on this game for a while there, but we were waiting to buy it since it's paid. TOTALLY. WORTH. YOUR. MONEY. Tons of levels, challenging but not impossible. Fun controls and overall great gameplay. If you're thinking about getting it, just do it. It's great.
They should charge money for this! Play it while it's free. Addicting as it is entertaining. The animated scenes are hilarious.

This is a really fun game! We love the mix of several different game types, it really feels like it has created a new genre of mobile gaming. Game gets semi addicting after the first minute of playing. The game looks amazing on our ipad mini 2 retina screen! Most def keeping this one.

Great game. Easy to learn the basic controls. Gets more challenging as you go. For those of us with an addictive personality what more could we ask for. :-).
The levels are well though and there is a steady increase in difficulty. Lots of weapons and added features. As far as the control goes, we have found its best if you DONT pick up your finger unless you have to for movement.
Phil the Pill is a clever game for all ages. This game brings back childhood memories of playing with pillbugs; rolling them down dirt mounds, over objects, and fantasying what it would be like to roll up into a ball. Strategy games like this one help develop problem solving skills for the future. This game brings back memories of hours playing Marble Madness back in the Nintendo hay days. The controls and gestures are intuitive and natural. Great game, fun hours of playing Phil the Pill are in our future.

This game is easy to learn how to play thanks to the great in game tutorials. It's super fun and addicting. We can't wait to show our son when we're home later, he's going to love this.
We shall have to hone our game skills with Phil the Pill. What a delightful game on the order of that bird game. One must race against time on each level or be overcome…so one must think fast or repeat the level… Way cool. Phil also has something in common with Smokey the Bear and Jabba the Hut…same middle name! This game will give one a delightful way to pass…a few moments when they are waiting for an appointment, or just need a diversion for a time.

Smooth and stable gameplay. Cohesive art style. Weapons. Puzzler. Controls seem awkward at first but you quickly get the hang of them and feel like you can play the game instead of the game playing you. Overall a well executed game.
Its classic arcade fun but the awesome character designs and animation are what kept us coming back for more. Just lookout for the stink.

This game has challenging levels with great controls. Our kids and we fight over the iPhone to play. The different weapons and characters are great. The writing is hilarious too.

We played this game tonight with our daughters who are ages 9 and 7. We were instantly laughing at Phil's awesome karate chop moves! At first, the game seemed simple enough: go through the maze and collect the coins and "crud." But then as you advance through the levels, time becomes an issue as the stinky, green gas envelops poor Phil if you are not quick enough through the maze! We also thought it was fun that you earn new skills like bombs and blasts as you progress through the game. Kept it interesting and challenging. Overall, a very cool game.
This game is fun but it keeps crashing every 2 minutes so the levels dont save.
Pros: fun, easy to learn, quickly becomes challenging Cons: relies on a coin collection to advance to higher levels. Soon you will run out of coins, leaving you to pay or watch advertisements to continue to play. Or you can play the levels you have completed over and over again to snag a chance to continue where you left off. Controls are not very responsive.
First of all, don't believe all the five-star reviews, which all seem to have been posted within a day of one another. Really, 40 people all played the game in a day and every single one gave it the top rating? Probably friends of the developer or paid. This could be a great game, but it's ruined by the absolutely horrible controls! For a game that often requires split-second timing and precise stopping within a fraction of an inch, the controls are particularly bad. It's hard to stop, hard to turn tight corners, and because you use the same motion to shoot and to stop, you often end up shooting where you didn't intend to (which can force you to restart an entire level)! Enjoyable concept and good puzzling. Fix the controls and you'll have a winner.
We downloaded this game to have something to do on our 6 our flight. Reading the reviews, it sounded like a decent game, and we bet it is. But as soon as we play the first stage, collect the first coin, the game crashes. Tried again, same result. To our prior knowledge, this game is broken on 4s.

Try the app before trusting other reviews. Has not crashed once on iPad 4. The in-game currency is usually enough to unlock the next level, but purchasing more is very cheap. Contrary to what other reviewers have said, the game becomes quite challenging after the introductory levels.
We're not sure why others are saying that it crashes on them. It hasn't crashed at all on us. We haven't had a single issue with it. It's really fun! Especially once you get to higher levels.
This one is a lot of fun… The controls take a few minutes to get used to, but we found them intuitive and fluid after a few levels. We love the subtle humor sprinkled throughout. The levels are cleverly designed and become quite challenging later on, and the gameplay becomes more varied the deeper you go. It seems to run nicely here, no crashes yet after quite a lot of playing.

This is a frustrating and annoying game. You have to pay to get to the next level. Not a good game.
Pay wall within the first 10 minutes. Not engaging or challenging in the slightest (no progression) waste of a download, another child scamming app.
It's the only app running in our iPad and it keeps crashing. We paid to unlock the second level and tried to play it, but it still kept crashing.
The description given for this game is far more interesting than the game itself. Controls are clumsy to use, and the game crashed on level 2. Work on the controls, add more interest to the game and fix the bugs and it might be worth a second look. For now though….it's bye bye Phil.
