A Glimpse into Pinball Breaker – GameClub

It is the world of the future. You can tell because everything is neon. First contact has been made with extraterrestrial life forms, and it is decidedly unfriendly. The last remnants of humanity huddle behind a shield that is only a couple of attacks away from crumbling. You are the last hope for our species. You are also a pair of giant pinball flippers.

Pinball Breaker Forever tasks you with repelling the nasty aliens who seek to destroy our planet. They keep descending, formation after formation, tirelessly attempting to lay waste to Earth. Use your giant pinball flippers to launch a ball at these conveniently brick-shaped foes and take them out before they can touch down. Just be careful, because while the monsters share the same general shape, they come in all kinds of types.

You aren’t without your own tricks. Break special blocks to earn power-ups that will give you the edge against your enemies. Collect coins and use them to upgrade your powers and abilities in order to survive longer and reach higher scores. Unlock new styles of flippers that make you look at least 7.46% cooler. Save the Earth now. Celebrate later. Pinball Breaker Forever.

Classic Gameplay: Take aim using your pinball flippers to destroy enemies. Aim for skill shots to earn extra points, and make use of classic brick-breaker techniques to clear out a bunch of invaders at once!

Hold the Line: If even a single alien gets past you, Earth’s last shield will be destroyed. Allow another one through? Good-bye, humanity.

Retro-Future Style: If it’s the future we’re talking about, then it just has to be neon, right? Stylish visuals and awesome tunes keep you flipping to the beat.

Radical Power-Ups: Break the right blocks and you’ll be able to make use of special balls, powers, and other helpful kinds of support.

Lots of Upgrades: Use the coins you collect to strengthen your power-ups, add new skill shots to the board, and pick up cool new flipper designs.

Multiple Modes: Choose from three different modes to find the challenge that’s right for you. Do you have what it takes to survive Nightmare mode?

That Game Is Sounds Like Bandai Namco.

No, seriously, who buys up the rights to an old game and then forces people who already own that game to pay a subscription just to access their content? GameClub and Playond, thats who! If you havent already, we strongly recommend turning auto-update for your apps off, so you can control whether scumbags like GameClub can snatch your games out from under you.

Not for casual playing, requires monthly subscription commitment as it doesnt allow you to buy it as a stand alone game. Too much ask for a silly game imho.

We first played this game on our moms iPad, and every chance we got to play on the game Id take it. Now we have the game myself and we love it. We downloaded the game at the hospital because our 19 year old cousin stopped breathing, and this game distracted us from it. So thank you to the creators, god blessed you guys with such talent.

Merging pinball with breakout is a great combo, and it’s mostly well done here. A bit of a tutorial/tips would be nice, especially in regards to the upgrades – some are not clear. But the main problem is there are some spots on the screen where taps aren’t registered, thus not activating the flippers! These spots are toward the bottom, on each side, around the shield icon and ball shute. PLEASE fix these! Ugh, just discovered the sides of the screen outside the game board are bad too, which is ridiculous since those are great places to place your thumbs if the bottom corners don’t work for you. Also, this is playing on an iPhone 11 Max.

Play for fun! Exactly what it is pinball.

Really enjoyed this interesting take on Classic Pinball & Tetris/Breakout. Recommend buying the app- ads are annoying & breakup the flow of the game. The reward system of coins for upgrades and features is extremely well done- not the typical gold coin-driven crappy apps that seem to be everywhere. This is an awesome game- for a quick 5 minutes or a 5 hour marathon! ~WheelieBob ~

Great game, good physics, awesome music, nice twist on pinball. Great Game!!! Make an IAP option to remove game ads please.

Seriously fun. The Physics feel like pachinko. The ball rounds the top perfectly and falls. The flippers respond quickly; better than FX2 or pinball arcade, which is odd. It’s less frustrating and easier to pull off skill shots. This control is important when the bricks start to fall on your city like Space Invaders. We thought, like most pinball games on IOS the physics would feel wrong. On the contrary, this game is easy to pick up for 5-10min without feeling the frustration of flipper lag or unfair physics drops which send the ball directly between the flippers with no hope of rescue. The flipper spacing is more narrow than most old pinball making it easier to save the ball. This is perfect as the difficulty of hitting moving targets (if super slow) requires more shots. We wrote this review due to pleasant surprise. Usually we delete these games minutes after trying them. This one will stay with pinball Arcade on our phone. It is different enough to enjoy separately from the classics, yet true enough to the physics that it deserves a place in its own right as unique and a lot of fun. The negative reviews are from people whom we wouldn’t trust to know what real pinball physics feel like, let alone a new take on them. So don’t expect pinball so much as Pachinko and it will make more sense. The ball arches due to the different degree of angle the game is set at. The ball falls slower. But is bounces at pinball speed off of the bricks and such. So once must be adept at both physics styles to play well. We still insist this is easier than a Pinball FX2 table where the physics are much too fast, lag, and have "magnets" that don’t work properly like Pinball Arcade does. So, be warned of Trolling noobs leaving bad reviews because a game hurt their feelers. Whatever. Practice makes fun.

Great time killer! Very fun! Fast paced! 10/10 would save the world from aliens again!

A decent pinball game. It disconnects your Bluetooth devices.

Fun game, and we’ve been playing it quite a bit, but the ball mechanics aren’t that great. You can figure it out, but the ball is too heavy and makes the gameplay harder (not in a good way).

We object to the Royal Chaos ad on this app where on the screen at the end of the ad, the options to adopt the child or kill the maid appear. The rest of the ads are for games where you kill your opponent, but this one, complete with a graphic of a young girl bound in ropes and awaiting her fate is repugnant. We also find that on our phone, we often have to reload the game multiple times for it to get past the ad screens. We would be willing to pay a dollar or two for an ad free version of this game.

Not completely unplayable but certainly not real. All is super heavy on the flippers but will be glued to the ceiling at times. It is really strange that something that bills itself as pinball would have such terrible physics.

Space invaders breakout with pinball flippers. Shots to the top of the bricks (which is good in a breakout game) is bad because the bricks flow to bottom quicker than the ball can clear them out. Lose out due to a skilled shot? Not a bad concept of a game though. Worth the few days to try it out.

Nearly impossible to play. Good concept, though not suitable for the pinball connoisseur.

Using it on an iPhone X with latest OS and now it doesnt launch. Great fun while it lasted…

We were enjoying it until the app started NOT booting up and crashing. We uninstalled it, losing our points and settings in the process, but, after reinstall, it still crashes and intermittently does not boot up.

Look, we get it, theres no such thing as a free game anymore. Gotta make that ad money! But if youre going to hit us with a 30 second ad before we can even fully load the game and play a single round, then Ill GLADLY delete the app. (As we did!). These ads are getting out of hand!

We were lucky enough to play the first arcade video pinball machine some 38 years ago. This doesnt hold a candle to it. Go play some real old school pinball machines and then adjust your physics to match!

Screen graphics are poor quality and needs iPhone X update. Old app and needs to be updated. Deleting.

So we’re playing the game checking out the new update and to let the creator know, we tried using the live button and it crashed our game.

Clever merge of space invaders, brick breaker and pinball.

Edit: the new original pinball mode works pretty well problems still lay around with some physics, but it isn’t frustratingly bad, our only issue one of the game play mechanics which is the dark bricks, even though they serve a great purpose in the game, they sometimes can be overly frustrating sometimes some of the other bricks that need to get destroyed get to an angle where it becomes impossible to hit and you have to wait till the darker bricks disappear and maybe just maybe you’ll take it the remaining colorful bricks but that’s slim cause by the time a layer of the dark bricks disappear it’s already to late to get the other bricks. Original: The update is wonderful but we’re still not digging the regular game modes’ physics the ball flys ridiculously even if you hit it "lightly" and when you am for some of the bricks near the shield the ball always tends to fly away. Over all it’s still fun.

We had our doubts since there’s very little in the way of good Breakout games or good Pinball games in the App store. But this game manages to get both genres right. It’s hard enough that there’s always a sense of accomplishment for getting a little higher on the scoreboard. It’s easy enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore or a punishment to play. Kudos to the devs!

Awesome combination of Breakout and Pinball!

We’ve played computer pinball games since the early 80s, so we have a lot of experience for comparisons. And we love this game! We would like to see more options, such as Extra Ball or Never Lose Ball (where they block the drop.) Maybe a few tables with a "second story" overlay, or a hole that holds the ball and then ejects it in a different direction. We’ve seen these all on older Mac software, so we know it’s feasible. Pretty artwork wouldn’t be too big a distraction, either, guys! In our opinion, pinball is the perfect mindless distraction for situations like waiting in the doctor’s office, etc. The reactions of the ball and the flippers are perfectly timed. For newbies, this is what playing a real pinball machine feels like (without seeing Tilt!)

We really like this game Its unique and new It is a very challenging game and deserves our good rating.

We don’t really play pinball at all but this game is super fun and addicting give it a download for yourself and try it out !

Not your classic pinball but great rendition to play. Nothing seems to repeat.

This game is wonderful and ingenious.

We literally LOVE playing this game!! It’s just like the old pinball but you get to smash blocks. It’s awesome! Usually we don’t rate any game 5 stars but for the time being we can’t find anything wrong with this game! We waste so much time playing it, it’s ridiculous! Lol!

Blend of 2 of our favorite games.

We figured this would be fun for a bit, but we keep coming back to it, then realized how fun a game this is. We catch myself smiling while playing. Fast paced and just plain fun!

This game isn’t bad but you need some mad reflexes to hit the ball… Make the gravity much stronger so the ball falls a tiny bit slower.. And make the screen a lot taller…

As much as we like playing this game, it really needs an information page that explains the scoring system. We can never tell if we’re doing well or not until the game is already over. What do green dots mean? What do green circles mean? What do white circles mean? Sometimes it seems like we have a ton of symbols in the End Game Bonus and Multiplier areas, but our scoring potential is weirdly low, but other times it’s high and it never makes sense.

This was an above average game that was pretty fun and is addictive. We recommend this game if you want a time-waster or are just bored with all of the other games.

The ball goes faster than us towards the toilet at Taco Bell.
